This review is for the Arby's location in Modesto. I placed an order online and went in to pick it up. Wanted to try the new pulled pork spicy barbecue sandwich. The Customer Service was beyond pleasant. The store was clean, and quiet. Seems that most of the customers come to the drive-through to order the food. The restrooms were clean, so were the floors. I was excited about the barbecue sandwich. There was enough pork on mine to make two sandwiches. They give you a one and a half ounce packet of sauce on the side, which was interesting. I got to add as much or little as I wanted. The sauce was sweet, smoky, spicy, and flavorful. Not lacking in anything, and well balanced. The picture of Anthony Anderson's smiling face on it was likable. Arby's is my favorite fast food chain of all. Really wish there were more left standing in California. I will continue to seek them out and choose to dine in. I have good memories throughout my life of eating their food, with several offerings I love, that only are found on Arby's menus and/or aren't quite the same anywhere else. read more

The food looked like it had been sitting out way too long--dry meat, soggy bread, and fries that were somehow both cold and stale. On top of that, the order was wrong, and when I tried to get it fixed, the staff acted like I was the problem. No urgency, no apology, just attitude. I hope I remembered the lovely drive-through cashier's name, but I'm pretty sure it was Sara. Sara has a kind, comforting voice. She should be an audio book narrator. I was kind of jacked on coffee, and she calmed my soul lol. The Roast Turkey Ranch & Bacon is my new favorite sandwich. It's tasty, filling, fresh, and a nice change from all the beef I normally crave. My beef-lovin' hubby was surprised after he tried mine and ordered one himself the next time. I told Sara that I'd Yelp her hard. (Told ya earlier that I was on a coffee buzz)! She thanked me for complimenting her and said why not put your best foot forward. Yes, why not, to all of the grumpy workers/people out there! I get it if you're unhappy at your job. But people like Sara are needed and very much appreciated. She is doing an amazing job. Arby's in Ripon, CA. It's a very simple order--#2 with curly fries and Diet Dr. Pepper. The bottom of the bun was hard and not fresh. The curly fries were chips of fries with not one curly fry. The drink, diet Dr. Pepper was watered down with two ice cubes. This is the problem with Arby's next to the freeway. Absolutely ridiculous. I got the Smokehouse and the sandwich was half off the bun and meet fell off and there was a small dab of bbq sauce in center and 2 small onion strips. It's a great amount for the amount of money you pay that the only ones within 40 miles I still have the wonderful special two for six which I come back-and-forth on a nearby highway to go to work so I stop here to get that the friendly drive-through cashier and inside cashiers are great. The restaurant is clean. They share a public bathroom with the gas station. However, my sandwich today was on room temperature bread it was not warm at all and my roast beef was not warm. 5 star review for Valerie. We came in on a Sunday afternoon. Arby's is located inside of the Love's Truck Stop, so there is a large parking lot and a drive thru. Lots of tables inside and very clean. Self service for soda and iced tea. Valerie helped us. She was so nice, friendly, professional and had a great smile and attitude. We ordered the rueben sandwich and the classic chicken sandwich. We had the curly fried and the classic fries along with the lemonade. Rueben and chicken sandwich were hot and fresh and tasted great. The classic fries are a little salty but the curly fries were very good. The condiment bar was out of ketchup so we used the Arby's sauce and it was good. This Arby's in part of a larger truck stop. The truck stop has showers, food, fuel, etc. for truckers and the Arby's can be access from the main store as well as directly from the parking lot. The dining area was fairly clean and the food was very good - tasted as good as any Arby's sandwich I've had in the past. They have a self-service fountain drink area and the bathrooms are easily accessible (not locked). If I'm ever back in the area and craving a hot roast beef sandwich, I'll be back. Enjoy! read more

After 10, the Central Valley doesn't seem to have many choices for food. Where I lived in the past, I could go to whatever fast food place Love's Travel Stops had. We were greeted quickly and the person took the order efficiently. The price isn't inexpensive, but that's Arby's. If you want oven-roasted beef at fast food prices, this is as close as you'll get. It takes a little while for food to arrive and this was no exception. Fries and potato cakes were hot, hot, hot but my junior roast beef was warm, warm, warm. Adding Horsey (horseradish) sauce didn't warm it up. My milk shake was strangely not thick and frozen, as it should have been for Arby's. Everything tasted fine, especially the Jamocha shake but the temperature of the sandwich and the milk shake were oddly not where they should have been. read more

I want to start with the staff here are extremely friendly. The place was clean and very orderly compared to other truck stop fast food places. The food, even taking into account "it's still fast food" was not fresh. I got the classic beef and cheddar with loaded seasoned curly fries. The edges of most of my beef was crispy like a chip, not at all appetizing, and my loaded fries, well they were crunchy, like dried out, and the cheese was solidified... It appeared to be the same cheese as was on my beef and cheddar but was not gooey like in my sandwich. I gave 1 star for the cleanliness, 1 star for the awesome staff. The food was not as you would expect for Arby's, and I'm not giving them credit for it being slow. I came in @ 5:16 PM, they were not busy, but I'm guessing it's do to the food. read more

One of the worst Arby's I have been to. Sandwiches are hardly warm, and the manager was completely unapologetic. We had a fairly large order, one of the sandwiches being a smokehouse brisket that we had ordered at a different Arby's before and LOVED. It is attached to a convenience store (Loves), which also has gas, making this a good place to stop off the 99 to get a bite to eat, gas up, and use the restroom. So this place doesnt have the best (or many) reviews on yelp, but the late night staff who work here are literally the friendliest people in the world. I get off of work late most nights and when I dont feel like cooking this has been my go to. Its normally fast and theyve never messed up any of my orders. By the time I get home my sandwich is not as hit as it could be, but I certainly dont mind that much. It is still fast food.
