    Balsamic Chicken Greens with Grains
    Jessica J.

Chains aren't my favorite to review because they can be so hit or miss, based on so many factors. I've always been a fan of Panera though! Even though I've had some less-than-stellar meals over the years, the good one's definitely outweigh the bad! Recently, I popped in to grab a coffee and get some work done. It was over lunch hour so I decided to also get a bite to eat. I like to try newer menu items, or just things I've never had before. That said, I went for the Balsamic Chicken Greens with Grains salad (*new item alert*) - it was really delightful. Refreshing and a big portion. First of all, any time something has green goddess dressing you can bet I'll try it. Loved the mix of pumpkin seeds, feta, avo, and pepperoncini peppers. All things I might not think to put together, but it worked! Generous chicken portion too. Oh and let's not forget the famous French baguette on the side... always a win. I've seen some Paneras get an awesome, upgraded makeover, but this location is still the original look. That said, it's still clean and well kept for sure.

    Everything bagel

Stopped on my way up north, they stopped serving breakfast early, and then I ordered a bagel and smoothie and they just threw my bagel into the bag, the bagel was torn apart into pieces and looked as though part was missing.

    Nope.

This Panera location has become a real crap shoot. I used to love their food, but after today I can't bring myself to go back...to this location at least. So my dad(who has cancer and hardly eats) really loves the Mediterranean bowl there so I stopped by to pick up an order for him. The bowl was like half filled and they gave him the wrong bread(he can't have sugar so only the sourdough is all clear for him to eat). How disappointing! For $9 I feel like the bowl shouldn't be half full! This was awful, especially for him since he rarely gets an appetite. I went around 2:30PM and I would like to mention they were not busy at all. Anyhow I'm not going to go on complaining, but I do feel ripped off. The pictures speak for themselves.

No extra egg and it's missing double meat.

Waited outside for 30min for my order to be delivered via curbside.... had to call to get them to walk outside after helping 16 customers (yep I counted) for them to only not follow directions and make my food wrong for the 3rd time in a row... this is absolutely asinine that even when a receipt is printed and specific directions are given they can't be followed.... so glad I paid $20 for my food to be made wrong and items I'm allergic to are in my food.... If you order delivery it gets even better.... the delivery driver likes to pick his butt prior to giving you your food... yep that's right he sure did. And now he's handing you your food? bro keep it I lost my appetite.

Been coming to this Panera for many years and they've definitely made some upgrades, which is nice. The menu has changed slightly but all my favorites are still there. My only complaint is how slow it can be, even during non lunch and non dinner hours, and the service. The employees taking orders always seem pretty agitated (I usually just use the self order kiosk nowadays) and annoyed. Sometimes they do get the order wrong, but it's usually minor issues like giving a baguette instead of chips, etc. They also always seem to run out of my favorite pastries. The food and restaurant itself are good. Gets pretty packed during lunch hour so it can be difficult to find a seat.

Lots of prep. Not much ready.

Dear Panera Management: I'm unable to accept a 31 minute wait for a two item, non-customized order. Even during the lunch rush. While I was waiting I looked up what other yelpers had to say and they corroborate my position this place needs an overhaul. If you value your time - go elsewhere

Green Goddes Cobb salad with frozen chicken and hair inside. Enjoy!

Went there and store was closed even though it was during regular open hours. I had some unhappy people that night.

Their food is amazing and I love their coffee. They have been great during the Covid with the curbside pickup.

Great options. Love the salads. Soup is too salty. The desserts are good. The atmosphere is fine. The location is awesome!

Date of visit: February 21, 2025…read more Loup is a wonderful little gem that I came across (with a little help from Yelp, of course!) in the Wauwatosa village during one of my monthly lunch excursions with a friend from work and you should definitely check it out. While a tiny place, you're greeted with a wonderful smell as soon as you open the door, embracing your nose like a warm hug. Service was great! Staff was efficient and offered great suggestions, such as when I wanted the grilled cheese but I am not a fan of pepperjack and it was offered to add in some mozzarella instead of the pepperjack and it was not only a thoughtful suggestion, it was an amazing sandwich! I did a combo with the ginger carrot soup and it definitely had the ginger kick but was not too potent for me and I appreciated the suggestion from staff to try this one. Just a couple small quibbles that prevented Loup from getting five stars: - There were no croutons, crackers, or bread served with the soup. That is a must for me and something that can be easily corrected. - The M&M cookie--while quite large--was not great, especially for $4. It's my husband's favorite kind of cookie and he only had about a third of it before passing it on to me. I ended up having it at home with milk (which helped) but it was overall a disappointing and expensive dessert.

A soup lover myself, any place that has a soup flight is a win in my book! Always a great variety…read moreof soups that change out. Also have a menu of sandwiches if you want a little more. Service is good with plenty of seating. Sometimes feels like a little more of a fast food/chain restaurant, but at least they have big bright windows to lighten it up.

I've seen a few posts on social media about Soup Korner, but hadn't made it a priority to stop…read more When I found out about their August 2021 sandwich of the month, the Garlic Pesto Italiano (salami, pepperoni, ham, mozzarella, garlic butter, pesto), with only a few days left until it was gone, I knew the time was now. I ordered the Garlic Pesto Italiano and a small bowl of the Supreme Pizza soup. The soup definitely tasted like pizza and some of the ingredients were more prevalent than others, like large chunks of tomato and the cheese and black olive they put on top. It would have been nice to have just a little bit more sausage in it, but it was still a very good soup as is. I'm so glad I came for the Garlic Pesto Italiano sandwich. All of the components shined without one masking the others. It's a shame that this is only a monthly special and not a regular menu item. The place isnt very large inside with only a few small tables and I chose to sit at the closest one to the register and put a table between myself and another couple that was already eating. No one else came in until I left, so it was a little awkward sitting there and eating while the employee at the register just stood there and watched, waiting for more customers to come in instead of finding something to do. She seemed young and possibly relatively new based on another employee giving her tips on how to look up item descriptions in their register, so I assume that's not a typical problem they have and more of a one off.
