    Quick lunch w Nanay

1st of all, I didnt realize this location was here so its super convenient. The dining room was very clean and roomy. Lots of big windows and tall ceilings to make it feel so open. It also has a great outdoor seating area available. The order kiosk is what greets you soon as you walk in so u can decide what you want right there. Their menu has gotten bigger over the years and the food has just better. Its been a while since I ate PB so this was a good treat. Tbh, I wasn't even planning on eating here as an option but as I was going thru my late wife's closet, I found a brand new gift card her old boss (thank u so much Ms Penny! ) had given her over 6years ago. My wife continues to provide blessings for me so I really am enjoying my kunch.

Panera Bread in Montclair is now open for business. Wahoo! I came here for a very quick lunch yesterday. I usually do drive-thru, but this time, I decided to walk-in. So glad I did. It has quite an open space with lots of seating inside and some limited patio seating outside. Tables were clean with the exception of a few with crumbs. Their trash bin area has 3 compartments. I get confused on which bin to place what in. The labels need to be clear as to what the items are... most of the time, they are not because they use the formal names like organics, mixed recyclables, waste and not the simple names like plates, utensils, napkins, food LOL. They had 3 self-ordering kiosks and one or two registers at the counter. Fountain and other drinks station is equipped with a variety of choices such as soda, juices, tea, and coffee. Sip Happy! Rapid pick-up and delivery pick-up are along the wall at the back corner. Utensils are readily available near the counter pick-up area. They have it all figured out. Great job! I ordered via the kiosk. I got their Caesar Salad & Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup for $8+. But I only paid $1+ because I had a $7 discount in my Panera rewards account (thanks!). Cool, Happy Birthday to me! LOL Portion was perfect! Not too much and not too little. Salad was good, but wished there was more salad and less croutons LOL. Caesar salad dressing was well balanced in flavor. Soup was delicious... got good strips of chicken and good amount of noodles. Glad I got more solids than liquids. Well done! I'll definitely return here for more good eats in the future. They have a screen that shows all the current orders so you can track your order. Nice! I didn't have any interaction with the staff whatsoever. Just order, wait, pick-up, sit down, eat, and leave. Sweet! What I love about Panera most is their great selections of pastries, bagels, and other baked goods. What's even more amazing is that they donate unsold baked goods to feed their neighbors in need. How cool is that! Thank you Panera for your love and support of your community!

I love Panera bread I'm always here, but never at this location! To be honest, I always have it DoorDash to me, but I noticed that when you order your food there, it's a lot more food than getting it delivered! The staff was very friendly! And to be honest, the place is super clean considering it it's in Montclair! But I love the people that are there for very respectable and putting their food away and plates.

Glad this location opened near me. It has a drive thru so it's perfect for when I'm feeling lazy. I order ahead and pick up through the drive thru. Just keep in mind that people do also order at the box so you could end up waiting for their food to be prepped even if you ordered ahead. Yesterday I was craving something comforting food so my go-to is the broccoli cheddar soup. It always hits the spot. I also got the Chipotle chicken avocado sandwich with some extra veggies. Food is always consistently good so I know I'll be satisfied with my choice when I come here.

Im here right now. I like the ambiance, the lighting is good, it is spacey and roomy, and comfortable seating. The only thing is I will not be staying here to study, the wall outlets are all covered up. I will not be able to keep my laptop chargers. With it has that one small detail, but it's a big detail at the same time.

    Worst chicken soup!

Are you kidding me ? 10 dollars for a chicken soup with no chicken on it. Horrible what is this nonsense

I ordered two sesame bagels, toasted, with cream cheese on the side, and two everything bagels, toasted, with cream cheese on them. When the employee took my order, she repeated it back correctly as two sesame bagels and two everything bagels. However, when I received my order and checked it before leaving, I discovered that I had only been given two sesame bagels and one everything bagel. When I politely asked about the missing everything bagel, the employee insisted that I had only ordered one. She also refused to provide her name when asked. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I was required to pay again for the missing bagel. The dismissive attitude and lack of customer service were disappointing. As a former New Yorker, I was equally disappointed with the bagels themselves. The restaurant promotes a New York-style bagel experience, but these bagels did not resemble the authentic New York bagels I grew up eating. They lacked the characteristic chew, texture, and flavor that make New York bagels famous. The bagels were also barely toasted. Rather than having a crisp exterior and warm center, they seemed only lightly warmed. A properly toasted bagel should have some crunch and color, and these simply did not. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, but how those mistakes are handled is what matters. My recommendation to future customers is to carefully inspect their order before leaving the counter. Unfortunately, based on this experience, both the customer service and product quality fell well below expectations.

They have kiosks here that take your order, which I appreciate. I enjoy being able to take my time and figuring out what fruit I want in my açaí bowl. The prices here are extremely reasonable, I paid only $10. I got the smallest size and expected it to be really small, but it filled me up! They're not stingy with fruits here unlike a lot of other açaí places. My order came out within a few minutes and I didn't wait that long to get my bowl. My bowl was really delicious and I enjoy how their texture is different than other acai bowls I've had in the past. They also only use fresh ingredients here which is something I appreciate. If you're in Claremont, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good snack! They also offer sandwiches and other fresh food.

Seating is limited and parking may be hard to find at times, but the area is nice and I don't mind walking a little to the place. Every time my partner and I enter, we are greeted with kindness and joy. The owner, who I believe prepares all the orders, is an amazing person. She has passion for what she does and she goes above and beyond each time. The spot itself is nice and has its own charm. It is clean and well maintained. The Peel has many items to choose, from smoothies to açaí bowls to even sandwiches. They offer a discount for students as well who may be in the area. My favorite part is being able to build your own smoothie or açaí bowl. Their ingredients are fresh, natural, and sustainably sourced. They even offer toppings I've never seen other places offer, such as bee pollen. There are plenty of varieties to choose from. From the type of milk, to the type of yogurt, to the type of toppings, they have it all. After going to The Peel many times now and trying out a variety of creations my mind can come up with, I was pleased with each order I made. The pricing is even fairly reasonable, especially for the quality and service you are getting. This is by far my favorite smoothie/açaí bowl spot and I will be coming back. The Peel proves that you can achieve great quality and service with fair pricing. If you want a natural and refreshing drink or bowl, this is the place. To my knowledge, no military nor first responder discount offered.

We came on a weekend and it was super busy (as it should be honestly with how amazing the food and service are). We got the blackened salmon with penne pasta and baby potatoes, and the flat iron steak with bow tie pasta and herb brown rice. The steak was cooked perfectly medium. The bow tie pasta is served cold and has a vinegary flavor to it, definitely a distinct taste, but I personally loved it because I enjoy sour/vinegary flavors. I can see why it might not be everyone's favorite though, but I personally really enjoyed it. The salmon was also super flavorful and cooked perfectly. Same with the penne pasta and potatoes. Honestly everything was just made really well and good. For the sauce, we got their popular jalapeno garlic sauce and it paired well with absolutely everything. Needless to say, this place was really good from head to toe. I also got to meet the owner and he was super friendly too. I seriously wish they would open one closer to my area. Devin helped me to fill out the order form. It's a 9 inch round black and white cake, with raspberry jam filling and buttercream frosting. My coworker is stylish and always has her hair makeup and nails perfect so I thought elegant with pink and white roses. (The gold Happy Birthday candle I added for 3D effect and was not included.) I scheduled for 7 a.m. pickup today. There was the usual morning rush at the bakery but I was still in and out of there within 15 minutes. It turned out great!!
