Steak and eggs- by the time I remembered to take a pic I had eaten half. It was good.

Came here for a work breakfast. They had a large table ready for our large party. Service was attentive and excellent for the occasion. I didn't need to ask for my water to be refilled. They just did it. Same with others who had coffee. They just kept it coming which was nice. We all ordered and the food came out pretty quick. I had steak and eggs and it was pretty tasty. Everyone in our group was pretty happy with their food except for the omelettes. The 2 who ordered that wasn't impressed. They have a private parking lot so plenty of space. The extra bonus was despite having a large party they did separate checks for everyone without any complaints! I would definitely come back.

Friendly service. Food that impressed my girlfriend (Always a bonus. She worked at a restaurant for years and has better taste than me). We will definitely come back.

Breakfast here is amazing. The diner style ambiance makes it feel like you can come anytime and there will be something yummy waiting for you. We were a party of 8 everyone got exactly what they ordered.Mayneth was our server and she was sweet and efficient we got everything we asked for and all the food was hot and delicious. Even their coffee and Jamaica was fancy the presentation is so pretty you almost hate to ruin it.

Came in for breakfast with two friends and was greeted by staff that seemed happy to be there. We were seated quickly even though it was busy. We ordered a strawberry lemonade, regular lemonade, and iced tea. The strawberry lemonade was pretty good, they use fresh strawberries and lemonade. Their lemonade and iced tea were solid, nothing that jumped out at us but not bad. I saw a mango refresher that I think I'll try next time. We ordered chilaquiles, a brioche breakfast sandwich with country potatoes, and a chicken and waffle benedict with hashbrowns. We thoroughly enjoyed the country potatoes that came with the breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was also quite delicious. The chilaquiles were great and definitely worth a try if you like that kind of food. It comes with your choice of carne asada or chicken and a plate of rice and beans. The chicken and waffles benedict was phenomenal. The eggs were perfectly poached and the chicken and waffles was crispy and tasty. The hashbrowns were pretty good, nothing special. The interior is nice and the place is lively with music playing in the background. Service was great and prices are pretty good too. I would recommend this place 100%!!

This restaurant looks like an old coco's or carrows with a bakery with tons of great baked goods! We came on Thanksgiving morning and were lucky it wasn't super packed. It's a pretty big restaurant with plenty of tables and booths. The menu is big and has plenty to offer! The portions are big and everything was delicious! Service was great with our friendly server checking in on us plenty and many other staff members working as a team! You need to come in to try the bronco potato pancakes and the chilaquiles! So Good!!!

Country Fried Steak ($18.25 - Close Up)

I had a good experience at Corner Grill & Bakery (Claremont). I ordered the Country Fried Steak ($18.25). It's filling, well-seasoned, and cooked well. I arrived at Corner Grill & Bakery (Claremont) on Monday (around 9:35AM). Parking is easy. There's a big, rear lot. Staff is welcoming, professional, and hardworking. Staff immediately greeted and seated me. Staff also worked smoothly like clockwork. Although different members visited my table, each had a clear and distinct role. My food arrived in four minutes and 57 seconds. That's crazy quick! I appreciated the Country Fried Steak ($18.25). It came with (2) eggs any style; I selected scrambled. It also came with hash browns and buttered sourdough toast. I enjoyed the Country Fried Steak's gravy. It's well-seasoned and savory. The breading is also light and airy which added a welcomed texture. Its meat is also hot and thick. The scrambled eggs and hash browns were also hearty. The hash browns had a crisp crust with very soft potatoes. However, the scrambled eggs tasted bland and a little rubbery. Still, all the ingredients tasted clean. Regarding ambiance, Corner Grill & Bakery (Claremont) is welcoming & clean. I appreciated the smiling staff, shiny tables, and well-maintained walls & furniture. There's also several flat screen televisions playing the sport channel. In addition, I appreciated how there's high chairs for families. The music is also soft and retro. Overall, I had a good experience at Corner Grill & Bakery (Claremont). There's visible effort within this diner, and that's always a pleasant sign. The food is affordable, filling, and clean. 4.5 out of 5

We typically come on a Saturday or Sunday for breakfast and this place is always humming with business. One morning we caught a live performance by a indie pop person which was delightful while eating. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner so far I can only speak on breakfast it's always great! Service is what's expected when it's busy we still got what we noon a timely manner and staff were friendly and professional.

Food and service were impeccable. Berlin was wonderful and the manager/possibly owner was also very attentive and welcoming! We got a late flight, veggie scramble and added bacon, chilequiles verdes con carne asada, and the stuffed strawberry pancakes. Didn't get a pic of the pancakes before my 4 year old (and all of us) inhaled them! Wonderful, will Become a regular spot for us when in town!

This is the best breakfast spot in Claremont! Everything tasted delicious! We tried the lemon ricotta pancakes which were so fluffy with a slight tang and taste of fresh blueberries. They offer a variety of baked goods for i.e cheesecake, sticky bran muffins, and coffee cake. Leticia was our hostess and she was very attentive. Cost was decent and portions were huge. My husband ordered the fried potatoes which tasted just like homemade with slices of onions and peppers. So good, clean m, and cozy establishment.

We made a reservation for 3 at 7 PM and upon arriving, we were seated right away! Between the three of us, we ordered a vegan Caesar salad (btw do you know how hard it is to find a vegan Caesar salad?!), nachos (with chicken on the side), the Mozwell burger (the fries on the side were absolutely crispy and delicious), and the aguachilles! I thought it was really kind of the server to accommodate my mom's vegetarian preferences, and offered to put the meat on the side! The restaurant is clean, and the food is served fast (which I so appreciate when you're hungry). We had just missed happy hour which is from 4 to 6; however, I definitely want to come back and try it out!

But we walked around the cute town and came back with a table waiting for us. To start, I had to try the iconic salad. My mom and her friends raved about how yummy the salad was and I have a sneaking suspicion why. That bad boy is packed to the brim with so much cheese. But yes it was totally yummy. My favorite part is they bring you a whole squirt bottle of vinaigrette dressing. Yes please! I totally understand the hype. The rest of our meal was ok. After trying Chef José's Zacatecan style fare, consider a new addition bullseyed and pinpointed! I'd stumbled in here a few nights ago- Mexico had just defeated a hearty South Korea squad in their second WC game, clinching the Group for El Tri and creating a palpable buzz among the Green/Orange & Red clad partisans who'd thronged El Ranchero... Leti and I shared a bowl of hearty Albondigas Soup to start- This is probably the finest restaurant take on the soup we've ever sampled! Most places will serve watery, tomato/carrot dense broths w/ a nominal, wan meatball. Not El Ranchero! Here, the soup is lovingly ladled w/ copious amounts of carrot, onion, cabbage and yes even a trio of meatballs. Hearty, decadent soup! We also shared a Jamaica Margarita. On the plus side it's $13 tab is decently priced- but if we are honest the drink was weaker than the Trump Administration is on corruption! Leti chose Shrimp Fajitas, which arrived steaming...Multiple fat shrimp partying w/ grilled onions + peppers. I went w/ a two item combo- A fantastic duo of machaca filled enchilada y taco. The machaca was everything you love re: that protein- Stringy, crispy and well seasoned. Xochitl was our server on this late SAT afternoon as the sun began its lazy descent to the western horizon. The rest of the restaurant staff were busily prepping the banquet room for a graduation party- So poor Xoxhitl was jamming like a trio of cats playing w/ a dozen mice. She was even mixing drinks in between serving her sextet of tables! Pro Tip- You can add a side salad or soup to most entrees for $3.99- Just ask! Our bill was $84 and for two plentiful entrees, a large if wan margarita and a side of wondrous, soul-warming soup...plus tax and tip. It's very easy to see why El Ranchero Claremont is a buzzing hub of its community- We've added El Ranchero to our must-visit Mexican staples. So should you.
