I'm extremely disappointed with Panera Bread at this location. It feels like the employees just don't care about the quality of their work. Every time I order a sandwich, it looks like it was made by a 2-year-old. The presentation is sloppy, with old lettuce and poorly assembled ingredients. It's frustrating because a big company like Panera should have higher standards. The way food is presented is just as important as how it tastes, and this location is really dropping the ball. If they can't get something as simple as a sandwich right, maybe the staff would be better suited for another job. I've had consistently bad experiences at this Panera Bread location. Aside from their employees not caring about how they make sandwiches (with sloppy presentation and old ingredients), the coffee machine and drink area are always dirty. It's really unappealing when napkins aren't refilled, and the self-ordering kiosks are covered in fingerprints. It's clear they aren't being cleaned regularly. For a company as big as Panera, this is really disappointing. Cleanliness and presentation matter, and this location is falling short in both areas. Having Panera at the hospital is so convenient for lunch during work. 4 stars because the staff is attentive, with great attitudes. I usually order the Mediterranean sandwich, but today I opted to try something different - the Baja bowl. The ingredients sounded delicious, but I ordered mainly due to how the picture looked on their website. The bowl I received definitely was not as aesthetically pleasing, but still tasted delicious. Today we decided to give Panera Bread off of Day St. in Moreno Valley, CA. another chance....and yes, another disappointment. This place doesn't have mixed green for the God Goddess salad, no sourdough, no mozzarella cheese, etc...So 4 out of 6 orders has to go for our 3rd choices. The last few times we ordered from this place, they either: didn't put in the chips, apple, or bread as requested. One time I order a Napa Almond Chicken sandwich and NO chicken! So I am a huge fan of Panera Bread. This one is literally two minutes from my house. This was my fist time using this location because its located in the local hospital and I felt like it would be to confusing to locate it. I was wrong it was pretty easy. After I placed my order and arrived there is a sign posted outside of the hospital that tells you to call and they will bring your food to you. Unfortunately the number would not allow me to speak with anyone, therefore I had to enter the hospital and speak to the security guard. She was very helpful and went to the Panera Bread and let them know my name. A worker from the location came out and apologized stating that they were having some computer issues and he would go check on my order. My order was super easy I only ordered a bowl of my favorite Autumn squash soup. He brought out my soup and I was on my way. So easy. I was mad at myself for not coming here sooner. Two months ago my husband and I went to the one on Day St in Moreno Valley and we thought that they were just having a bad day; unfortunately we found out today it hasn't changed to meet the customer's satisfaction. We had to clean our own table before sitting down to eat and to get our own food too, so why pay for a tip if I'm doing half of the staff's work?; you could have at least called our name so that the food didn't get cold as the arctic! This is a fairly new and modern style Panera. It's located inside of the hospital. Unless you have an appointment at the hospital or you're a visitor, they only allow you to pick up your order curbside. The staff is fast and friendly. read more

This is a cute little coffeeshop. It's inside the RUHS hospital. It is not easily accessible to the public because of Covid-19 protocols though. From what it seems you must work in the hospital or be visiting someone there to enter. Other than that it pretty much has all the things a general Panera does. It's a nice place to sit for a bit and have lunch. It has inside and outside seating. The Panera app makes it super easy to order and just swing by quickly to pick up your order. The bathrooms next to it are not the greatest though because (at least the women's one) has very low pressure. It's a good spot! read more

I ordered a broccoli cheddar soup today. Once I got my meal, I picked up my spoon and noticed they gave me a dirty spoon. I kindly took it back and asked for another one. I took the first spoonful of soup and to my surprise it was cold. So, I go to the serving area and told them the issue. To my surprise, I was told I could warm it up in the microwave. Very disappointed with her costumer services, I seek to speak to the manager. I spoke to the manager and told him about the issues and the bad customer service. He explained to me that it was probably not warm enough due to the batch and that it was going to take a few minutes. Once I got it, he explained that if the soup was not hot enough this time, he couldn't do anything. He did not offer an apology nor did he check if it was warm enough. He also didn't apologize for his employee's lack of etiquette. He didn't bother checking to make sure the food was hot. I will say that it was warm. I called corporate which took a long time to answer about 15 mins. Told them the issues and basically said they would talk to them about it. He did not offer an apology nor was he really apologetic about the customer service. He told me they do have a microwave if customers want to use it and that they are not suppose to take the food back but replace it. WOW!!! I will NEVER eat at this place again!!!!!! If wanted to eat cold soup, I could of bought one at Costco and warmed it up at home which it would have been a lot cheaper. I didn't pay to get served COLD SOUP with a DIRTY SPOON.
