Located very close to military mall, convenient location for canadian shoppers but the good was not Panera standards. My whole bowl of tomato soup was just as much as small cup of soup and my side which is chose to be baguette was 1/2 of what I usually get at other locations. Similarly my husband soup and sandwich was like cheat meal. Sandwich was skinny with almost no fillings and soup was blend as compared to other locations. So just a disappointment! read more

Then it becomes a nightmare. - Waited 15 minutes for our meal. - Our order was screamed to us from behind the cooks area. - It was in a paper bag. - Seems they ran out of dishes???? - The soup was in a paper container?? Again - no dishes??? - The sandwich I ordered was to be toasted. It wasn't?? - I returned the sandwich and got nothing but attitude from the cook! - So nothing was done! No soup! No sandwich! Nothing. - $41dollars and no meal!!????? - I asked for the manager - who apologized and refunded a portion of my check??? - He then stated that he would bring out a fresh sandwich and soup right away. - I waited at least 15 more minutes. And finally went up to the counter, - "Oh, you wanted me to make it over?". Apparently, the manager failed to tell the kitchen to remake my meal????? - So, once again the soup came in a paper cup and in a bag. I should have looked at the reviews before I ordered. I ordered 6 bagels for pick-up two days before Mother's Day. At the pick-up time I received a phone call about my order. I went into the restaurant to grab my bag and was told they didn't have any of the bagels I ordered (Sesame, Raisin, and Everything). "The Baker didn't make any of those last night" Seriously???? Don't you know what your orders are? I was offered to pick from the 4 types of bagels they had. No apologies, no discounts, no extra cream cheese, muffin, anything. I'm a fan of this location -- the employees and customer service have always been stellar. The drive through window works well during COVID-19 and their delivery processes are really streamlined as well. I ordered a salad for delivery on Monday (it was one of the only local options to me) and the salad came about 15 minutes early, packaged very well and dropped off 100% contact-free on my porch. The whole experience was seamless with text updates the whole way and the green goddess salad with bacon, chicken and avocado was delicious. I don't think I've ever had a more tasteless, dry, uneventful bagel in my life. Yes, they are that bad. They're small, not worth the price. There aren't many good choices as far as I'm concerned either. I was excited about trying the sprouted grain flat bagel but it was disappointing too. Blah. I did like the cherry vanilla better than any others but I still wouldn't get it again...at least I could taste the cherries in it. I just went to the Panera bread in Niagara Falls New York and they messed up my order 3 times and I still don't have what I asked for. 1st I ordered a tuna sandwich with cheddar cheese no tomato. Local chain I enjoy grabbing a quick coffee and or a breakfast sandwich. My go to has been an egg and cheese bagel, but on the cinnamon crunch bagel the offer instead of the traditional. This breakfast sandwich is simple but taste amazingly delicious. Coffee I usually get a hazelnut coffee which is usually fresh almost all the time. KRISTEN is usually the smiling face I see that early in the morning and she's always so friendly, quick with the service and great with the overall experience from the speaker to the window. My daughter received a coupon from her school for a free kids meal. This was our first visit at Panera. My daughter used her coupon and received a pb&j and a yogurt tube. She didn't like the sandwich because the bread had a bunch of hard seeds in it and she didn't like the texture- perhaps I should have asked what kind of bread it would be on.. My son ordered the "pick 2" meal option which really isn't a combo that saves you money lol it's just pick 2 from the menu! He got the Mac and cheese and a small Cesar salad- this included a side of bread. The bread was so hard he could barely bite it. The Mac and cheese was fine BUT there was barely any flavor in there- I tried it myself. His salad barely had any dressing - it was pre tossed. Even with ordering a water, this came out to about $11.00 At the end the kids were stil l hungry since they did not eat all of their food so we went to get a cookie at the counter since they said .99 ... well when she rung up the 2 cookies she said the total was almost $6.00!! She said the .99 was only if you purchased it with a meal - and wouldn't honor it even though we just ordered 2 meals in a separate purchase. We said forget it and went to Tim Hortons for a treat! Over all we were not satisfied with this visit and will NOT be returning. I only gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because the restaurant was very clean and the chairs were comfortable. The problem with the order, besides it being ridiculously expensive, was that I was really hungry, not having eaten a proper lunch that day, being on the road all day. I received a sandwich with ALL bread and maybe a quarter of that, turkey. And it wasn't Smokey at all. What's the point of calling it Smokey, when it wasn't? The whole $16.29 overpriced meal was a disappointment. Also, the Lemonade "glass" was half ice. 8 sips exactly and I finished it. You're selling overpriced bland food, most of which is bread and unsatisfying. I'm extremely disappointed. I frequently visit this location, it's in a great area, busy traffic due to it being in the Walmart plaza, but I've never waited longer than 10 minutes in the drive thru. This past visit I was so excited to actually get the Broth Bowls, usually their sold out or there's an issue getting it. I opted for the Soba Noodle Chicken Broth Bowl which was packed with rich flavor, lots of I believe it was parsley, covered the top, topped with lots of chicken and noodles. The broth was lacking, it was rich and flavorful, but I do believe the noodles soaked up most of it. I also got the Lentil Broth Bowl and had chicken along with double egg added to it. It was so so so good! Slices of lemon, a hearty helping of spinach and kale, loads of chicken, and the eggs soaked in the broth was the topping to my Lentil Soup. There was more liquid in this option than in the other one. Loved the flavor of the broth, definitely tasted citrusy! I also got the Steak and Arugula Sandwich, but opted that it be put on a Flatbread instead of the basic white bread you normally get. In the past when I've just got the basic white bread, it would be soggy by the time I actually got somewhere to eat it. This time I'm so glad I made the call for it to be put on a Flatbread, it made the sandwich ten times better! Definitely recommend. Their Mac and Cheese is a staple in my book, I can't ever go there and not get it. Creamy, good warm or cold. I also really enjoy their Chicken Caesar with extra chicken and dressing. They recently changed their salad containers, and I couldn't be happier. You figure you're paying $9 for a salad, it should at least come in a nice plastic container that actually closes, not some paper box. I also have really been enjoying their Passion Fruit Green Iced Tea. It makes you feel refreshed after drinking it. read more

I usually get the chicken noodle soup and half a sandwich. The quantity is good for lunch, but it's a little light for supper. There is no table service, but the food generally comes quickly. I'm usually a very nice person/customer seeing as I work in the service industry and also feel empathy. However, today is different. I've been traveling for two weeks eating foods I didn't recognize or like, when I finally came home today. I have been fixating on the Mediterranean bowl for a few months and it always soothes me. I ordered this at your location, excited to have something familiar for the first time in two weeks. And it was missing half the ingredients. No cucumber, no yogurt, no tahini, no feta, nothing. I know that you employ young people and they don't really care about their work but this literally made me cry actual tears. I just wanted something familiar and I thought, at a standardized corporation, I would get that. But I didn't, and then I cried. And now I'm still eating it because it's the first meal I've had since 11am in a different time zone five hours ahead. So that's my piece. I go to Panera somewhat often and am very satisfied with the food that I get. The bread is always fresh and the soup is good. I have never had a baked good item that I did not like. On this particular occasion, however, the baguette that I got for my side was half the size. My daughter was with me and my baguette was very small compared to hers. I went into the drive-thru after a 12hr shift. I fixed my appetite for a salad and sandwich from this place because they are usually not this bad but the order was a complete mess. I ordered their new southwest chicken Cesar salad and and my favorite sandwich the turkey bravo without tomatoes and the original sauce that comes on it with a bag of chips on the side. As I came up to the window to pay $15.64 the service was ready a little quicker than usual and I was served by another employee than the one who cashed me. Turns out they gave me a mobile order. I personally understood this mix up since I've been in the fast food business before and made a couple slip ups‍. So I go into the store to tell them and the staff is very understanding and offered me a drink with a cookie to make up for the misunderstanding. I thankfully accepted and waited for my order to be made. The same employee who gave me the wrong order comes out with "what I ordered" and agreed that the order is correct this time which this bag is two times bigger than what my order originally was so I look and see they have placed baguettes instead of the bag of chips that I originally wanted (I arrived a hour before closing so I understand that people's minds are all over the place and everyone wants to go home and I didn't want to make a scene plus I'm very tired myself). I further look into the bag and it seemed as if my original order was there with extras. So it seems like it was "okay" . I go out the door, and I think I was satisfied until I actually got home and really looked at what I received. A regular greek salad without chicken, a bravo sandwich with everything on it when I specifically said NO TOMATO OR ORIGINAL SAUCE, a small bowl of macaroni and cheese, and a Buffalo chicken baguette sandwich. I come here for a salad lunch in a pinch- mostly because they have a drive through that shaves a lot of time off of going inside somewhere else. I usually order the Green Goddess Cobb with chicken. It comes with spinach, chicken, bacon, avocado, onion and egg. It's very good and keeps me full most of the day. I also appreciate the rewards program they have in place. In terms of taste, it is very good, especially for a chain restaurant. There are better salads and lunches in the immediate area- but nothing beats what you get here in term of convenience, price and taste together. read more

Went to the Panera bread on Military Rd., Niagara Falls. This was my second visit and probably my last I ordered a bowl of Broccoli Cheddar and 1/2. Green Goddess salad- my daughter ordered a 1/2 steak & arugula sandwich and bowl of salad-Chicken Cesar of course the food was delicious-it's everything else that came with it they gave it a two star this time. First the ladies bathroom was disgustingly filthy, the line was incredibly long with one cashier and then I'm third in line and the cashier comes up and stands there looking at it until I'm second in line and then she smiles at me and I walk over and she goes oh no I'm not open so I look like an idiot in front of the line behind me. Next there must've been an array of college students here doing their homework and they pick the comfy booths so you come in with food and you have to squeeze onto a little table because kids are here doing their homework- not eating -I don't think that's right-or good customer service.
