    Mexican Street corn chowder
    Leah R.

While some call it overpriced cafeteria food.. I call it delicious. Their are few things better than the corn chowder soup and a French baguette for lunch. Also a fan of the seasonal salads. I know throw me off Yelp. It is overpriced at times but you can't beat a good comfort meal. Also drive thru or rapid pickup options are always a plus.

I have to update my Panera Bread review now that I've tried a few bagels. Don't bother ordering them here....go somewhere else. I don't think I've ever had a more tasteless, dry, uneventful bagel in my life. Yes, they are that bad. They're small, not worth the price. There aren't many good choices as far as I'm concerned either. I was excited about trying the sprouted grain flat bagel but it was disappointing too. Blah. I did like the cherry vanilla better than any others but I still wouldn't get it again...at least I could taste the cherries in it. Even the "everything" bagel which did look like it would have a full flavor.....was BLAND. Sorry Panera....love your coffee but not the bagels.

Second sandwich. I ordered tuna sandwich no tomato add white cheddar cheese. There's no onion idk what this red stuff is smh.

I just went to the Panera bread in Niagara Falls New York and they messed up my order 3 times and I still don't have what I asked for. 1st I ordered a tuna sandwich with cheddar cheese no tomato. And the sandwich came with tomato and no cheese and it was the worse looking sandwich I ever ate from Panera bread. I've been to Panera breads all over New York and California and this is the WORST Panera bread ever. Second sandwich I went back they gave me another sandwich still sloppy and with white bread just tuna and lettuce nothing else who said white bread ? Then they made it again with their rustic bread and told me they only have rustic and white which I know was a lie because I can see other bread and my first sandwich was made with ciabatta. This sandwich did not have onions and still had the WRONG BREAD. For the past 5 years this is all I order so I know how it comes and this is terrible I will never go to any Panera bread ever again.

Local chain I enjoy grabbing a quick coffee and or a breakfast sandwich. My go to has been an egg and cheese bagel, but on the cinnamon crunch bagel the offer instead of the traditional. This breakfast sandwich is simple but taste amazingly delicious. Coffee I usually get a hazelnut coffee which is usually fresh almost all the time. KRISTEN is usually the smiling face I see that early in the morning and she's always so friendly, quick with the service and great with the overall experience from the speaker to the window. Thank You!

Remarkable how they can't prepare a bagel properly. They also blast the music way too loud, almost as if to discourage socializing.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

So much more comfy than chairs. From walking in to the restaurant to service at our table, all the staff was welcoming and friendly. After we ordered we were asked if we wanted bread and brought three slices of DiCamillo Italian bread. One for each us and they told us to let them know if we wanted more. I really liked that they asked, so bread would not get wasted. I do wish, however, that it would have been served warm. We ordered beans and greens soup and two specials, Taste of Italy (chicken Parm, 3 ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo) and stuffed rigatoni, which both came with a choice of soup or salad. When the food came, there was an ample amount of sauce and it was nice & hot. The red sauce was good, not sweet, but not acidic either... A nice balance. The Alfredo was super creamy. My chicken parm was perfectly cooked... Thin coating perfectly crisp with tender chicken inside. The stuffed rigatoni were enjoyed by my dad... Sure enough, each rigatoni was individually stuffed and sealed on the ends as the name suggests. We all had the beans & greens soup and enjoyed it.

We ordered the papaya salad, vermicelli combo, and the beef pho combo. The papaya salad was extremely disappointing. It wasn't quite Thai style and it wasn't quite Vietnamese style. It was a blend of the two and turned out sweet and nutty. It was misssing a lot of the elements that made papaya salad normally so satisfying and refreshing. There was no sour, no savory, and no kick at all. The vermicelli salad was not good at either. All of the meats were overcooked and lacked any flavor. The shrimp in particular was rubbery and barely paletable. The egg roll tasted like cheap Chinese restaurant eggroll. They also left the eggroll whole so I had to rip it to pieces by hand. The dressing was very mild and did not bring out any other flavors in the dish. Instead, it watered down any flavors that may have been there. A dash of strong fish sauce could have made the dish do-able, but when I asked for some, they brought out more of the weak dressing that the dish came with. The only saving grace was the pho. It wasn't top notch but the broth was a good mix of herbal and beefy and hit the spot. If you come here, just get the pho and save yourself the heartache and disappointment. My wife was so disappointed that after we left, I ordered papaya salad from Mandalay Restaurant down the road so she can get her papaya fix. To the restaurant, you guys have such a nice spot. Fall in love with your food again and bring forth some bold and authentic flavors. It's easy to get complacent when you are one of a few spots that have this type of food. You are unique enough to stand out in Buffalo, New York, but these dishes and flavors won't fly anywhere else. I know you are better than this.

Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. The meal always starts with fresh baked bread service that is accompanied by butter, house pickles and either a hummus or garlic confit (in my experience). My mom is gluten free so she was bought her own dish with focaccia and a roll. She was over the moon about that and really enjoyed the focaccia. We all enjoyed every bit of our meal which included our choice if an appetizer, main dish and dessert from a prix fixe menu for $40. Some of our choices included charcuterie, arugula salad, tamarind shrimp curry, salmon and lemon meringue cheesecake. We left with our culinary needs satisfied and our stomachs full... we even had some leftovers. I can't wait to go back again. It's best to make reservations as they usually get fully booked. They also have staff working there that graduated from the program and were hired by the restaurant. This place is fantastic. As soon as we walked in, we notice the ambiance of the entire building is clean and well maintained. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept so you can see much of what is going on "behind the scenes". Upon entering the restaurant, we were appropriately greeted by staff who were very personable, respectful, and informative. The same attentive and personable service was given by the entire staff. We were able to ask questions about how the restaurant operates, being that it is operated by the Culinary Institute and its students and alumni. I'll spare you the details but it is an interesting dynamic. The food was excellent. We went for dinner and while there is a limited menu, the options were varied enough that anyone would be able to find something they will enjoy. This might be the most affordable three course meal I've had this decade. The food was prepared perfectly, the presentation was impeccable, and the service provided leaves nothing to be desired. The entire operation is run calmly and very efficiently. I am happy to have had the opportunity to dine at Savor and it is going on my short list of highly recommended upscale restaurants for anyone looking for a nice dinner at an affordable price. So if you're looking for a night out and don't want to break the bank, go support the students and alums from SUNY Niagara. I doubt you'll regret it at all.
