I'm a Panera fan boy but, this location although customer service was fine and food tasted ok.....I got half a Caesar with chicken and French onion soup. The already small salad bowl was filled half way and so was the soup. I'm glad I didn't sneeze cause for $14.00 I would have been pretty sad about watching my lunch blow away...... oh yea the baguette I got was straight burnt. Dont get me wrong what little I had was good but if these prep people focused on the work and not the social hour club ... could have made a difference. Good thing I don't live close by cause the one in Lockport on transit blows this one out of the water. Owner works right in the trenches! One morning after doing an airport I wanted a good breakfast and to avoid the fast food places so I remembered Panera that just opened. The place looks great with a pleasant design, nice tables and fireplaces. Very cozy. I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich and headed over to the prep area as I waited. From there you see how your food is prepared. Bagel cut in half, stuffed with a microwaved egg and a slice or cheese then pressed in a panini press. So seasoning, no butter, no sauce. The end result was a bland sandwich. I could have had better results at Tim Hortons or a fast food chain. I'll probably return as I've heard good thing about their soups and the place is nice and clean. read more

I actually wanted to go to Wegmans to get a sub, but then I wanted to get a smoothie from Panera so I just decided to get lunch from there. Well I ordered the ham and Swiss with Mac and cheese and a strawberry smoothie. I took it back to my house to eat literally took 3 bites and found a long piece of hair in my food. I called the store and talking to the manager. HE MADE ME DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE STORE. Now I paid $30 for everything in total and this MANAGER GAVE ME $5. My friend had the Fuji apple Chicken salad, which would have been tasty except for the blue cheese sprinkled all over it. The Caesar salad tasted like romaine lettuce with Kraft dressing. Only giving a 1 star review because I can't even rate them 0 out of 5, they're absolutely terrible. Their hours are inconsistent, close when they please, the drive thru is NEVER open when I go there, they have cones blocking it off, but don't dare try to go inside because then there's 10 people in line waiting, no parking available, they never make anything right, every time I go (which idk why I do anymore it's just super convenient) there's always something wrong with my order or something just so inconvenient happening, last time I went the ice machine was dispensing WATER and they didn't even have lids for the cups the employee said? Terrible location every time I order it is wrong or out of more than 1/2 the menu. Frequently closes at off times and days, understand labor shortages and all but every other restaurant in area continues to operate at normal hours so may be an internal problem as to why you cannot keep employees. For expensive as Panera is you do expect quality and your complete order which is generally always missing at least one thing. My family loves Panera and it's a shame that I would prefer to drive to a different location than the one that is maybe a mile from my home. read more

I've always liked Panera bread but only once in a while due to high cost. On this particular occasion I had a 50% off coupon and wanted to try their new delivery service. The food was excellent especially the chicken tortilla broth bowl and all the food arrived hot and fresh. My only disappointment was that the app allowed me to choose a customized time which I did but they delivered the food 1/2 hour early. I was having it delivered to work and wanted it at a specific time for a reason. If it wasn't for this one small mistake I would be given a 5 star. We went to Panera on a busy Saturday during lunchtime in January. We are frequent patrons of this place, but they really outdid themselves this time. Angelique at the register really rocks it, she is the epitome of outstanding customer service. The place was clean despite the traffic and the food was outstanding. Frontega Chicken was yummy and both the chicken noodle and black bean soup was comforting on a winter's day. Even the apple was tasty. Warm chocolate chip cookies were the perfect end to a perfect lunch. Parking is a little bit of a problem, but that is probably due to the restaurant's success. Overall a great place to go when you wish to take a break from shopping at the outlet mall. They have a drive through service which would be good during inclement weather or when you are in a rush. read more

Woo Panera bread finally made it to Niagara Falls, NY. And it actually gathered a decent crowd inside. Being a food chain there is nothing in particular that makes this place to stand out from the rest of its twins. Though I like a hidden spot on the back of Panera right by the window with a cozy fireplace, so perfect during long Buffalo winters. Staff is very helpful, it seems like they are trying to educate their customers how to get around cafe assuming most of the visitors have never been in Panera before. It's not the same warm fuzzy feeling that you'll get from the local shop, but I still appreciate the effort. Don't forget to mention, this Panera has a drive though! Wait, what? Yep yep, they must have real ninjas working on drive through kitchen since it usually takes them 5-7 mins to prepare food for regular customers. I placed a simple, clear online order for 2 Lattes, one black coffee, snd one iced coffee. When I arrived for pick up, they only had 3 drinks ready. So, I had to wait on the 4th, after again standing in line despite ordering ahead. Then, drove 15 min back to the in-laws only to see that the was no black coffee, one half filled latte, and 2 coffees with cream. Of course, they are also now cold. Panera is one chain that I just adore. I love their free wi-fi, I love their huge menu that has something for everyone, I love their seasonal dishes, their baked goods, their iced tea varieties. It's just a feel good chain that really knows how to please the customer. This particular Panera has a very efficient drive-thru. Wish they all had this feature!!! After shopping a bit at the Outlets, right down the street, my Mom and I were parched and were in need of a cold beverage and a snack. We drove through the drive-thru and actually got our order faster than we would have had we gone in. Just 2 drinks and 2 baked goods (the chocolate croissants are my FAVORITE!!!!) and we drove away happy. I'm so glad there's a Panera by the Outlets now. Met a colleague for a business meeting in the morning. Lots of ample parking and easily accessible from Military Road. I ordered the egg, sausage and cheese sandwich on panini roll. It was very tasty and the egg was fresh which is a nice change from the fake egg mixtures other restaurants use. The sandwich was simple and the crispy ciabette bread add some great texture. I also ordered the caramel latte which was a little on the sweet side but not overbearing. The food and drink was ready in a timelu fashion. Full menu also available online as well as the ability to placr an order online. The restaurant was quiet and relaxing and perfect for our meeting. The workers were all friendly and welcoming. Did an online order for rapid pickup. The only good thing was that it was fast. I did a family kids meal with 2 kids sandwiches; I guess to be fair, actually looked good and well made. It also included 2 adult sandwiches which were a mess with scant ingredients (running low?)-there was more on the kids sandwiches than the adult sandwiches! The French onion soup had no gruyere cheese and no croutons. The Mac and cheese was basically soup there was so much cheese sauce but it is grouped with soups so...? Worst of all was it "came with" a Caesar salad but there was no Caesar salad to be found. When I checked the bag at home I tried calling but apparently they had already closed. This is a typical Panera, with the assortment of baked goods, soups, sandwiches, paninis, smoothies, and salads. It is a VERY busy location, and seating/ cleanliness of tables can sometimes be a challenge. I gave this location 4 stars, instead of my typical 3, because they were AMAZING in regards to my daughter's peanut allergy. The cashier informed the manager of our "special" request, and the manager asked all the staff to change their gloves, and they wiped down the location where her sandwich was prepared. She then came out and explained their protocol. I was highly impressed. My daughter also loved the Cesar salad! I was so grateful they made it such a pleasant experience! read more

We just had a great experience with the staff working at this Panera ...there was a small incident with another patron getting angry at one of my children for innocently refilling a cup and my son felt really bad... the staff came over multiple times to express their regret for what happened and were very generous in trying to make our experience positive. I came for a pick up order through door dash I called when I arrived and they said I could use the drive through and when I was in a full line of cars they told me I had to come in , I was so mad I waited in line for 20 minutes and then couldn't get out of line I canceled my 30$ order and left I was very appalled by the lady's attitude towards me in the drive through !!!! read more

Our hockey team is playing at a tournament in Buffalo, NY. We ordered lunch for the kids between games. As a total of parents we spent probably over $500. Our team traveled here on a chartered bus, so we did not have a lot of transportation options. My particular order was missing 2 soups. I called the restaurant directly and spoke with Tom. He said he handed 1 soup to the woman who picked up the order and the other was in the bag. It was not. Plus, they ran out of the soup we ordered and replaced it with something else. I asked Tom to just refund our order. He said I had to come to the store to do that. Not possible on a team bus. He offered no other solution, had also run out of the other soup and said to me "what do you want me to do?" I said I wanted a refund. He refused to do it over the phone. Tom was rude to speak with, was unaccommodating, and completely angered the group of 50+ of us that had placed orders. But, it seems like around Niagara Falls good local coffee shops you can just sit at for hours and do work are hard to come by. So Panera is always a next best go to. This is the smallest Panera I have ever been to. I went in just for a coffee and the employee just gave me a free coffee and said, "Merry Christmas"! Panera is a good concept. The healthier end of fast food, it has something for everyone. The mac and cheese is mouthwatering, and the iced green tea probably has crack in it. However, this particular location is a hot mess. Multiple times I have gone in and they have ran out of certain foods, especially their famous mac and cheese. How can a food establishment run out of food? I had another memorable visit before I learned better and started to avoid this location where as soon as I walked in, they said they wouldn't be serving anything but soup because of a ceiling water leak, which was visible from the checkout counter. Seeing garbage cans full of gross water was the final straw and I won't go back ever since. read more

Sure, the quality is there at Panera in general but the prices are reflective of the trendiness of this place. They didn't invent bread after all, so a lot of it is clever marketing and jacked up prices. If the food was unbelievable I'd give them more slack, but it's good, maybe even darn good, but not Earth-shattering. We tried some Panera soups to take home. Specifically the clam chowder and lobster bisque. Absolutely tasteless. Seriously, I don't know how such rich-types of soups can taste like nothing. I love Panera bread! The food is fresh and the management and staff are always helpful. However at the Niagara Falls Blvd. Amherst, NY location today I had a disappointing experience with Team and not very impressed with how the manager Sue handled the situation. I ordered my lunch at the kiosk and took the numbered pager. After my lunch mate got her lunch sometime went by so I went up to see where my lunch was. My lunch was on the counter and a young lady behind the counter said someone would bring it to me. I went and sat down without my lunch, and I went back to sit down and wait for it. Still no lunch so I went back and took my lunch and my soup was no longer hot. I took my soup back up and the girl at the counter told me they I could heat it in the microwave and pointed at it. Then I asked for the manager and she proceeded to tell me the soup is 200 degrees when served I told her my launch sat for awhile and cooled off. I will not be going back to this location for awhile.
