I visited Panera Bread with a friend on a quiet afternoon. I ordered a bagel, a fountain drink, and a candy cookie.($8.47) I had hoped to receive one of the fresh cookies from the display tray, but instead was given a pre-wrapped one with the candy coating completely melted--just chocolate pieces, which felt deceptive and disappointing. What bothered me more, though, was the cashier's behavior. I wasn't asked if I wanted to use my reward points, nor was I given a receipt. He dismissed my concern with a quick "Oh no, I'm sorry" and walked away hastily, leaving me wondering whether my purchase was processed properly or used for personal gain. Either way, it felt careless and unethical. I usually enjoy Panera, but this visit left a bad taste in every sense. I've never been a huge Panera fan. I had gift cards and decided to try it again today. The order kiosk was very overwhelming and when we finally figured it out, my gift card wasn't working. So we ended up going to the counter. Service was super quick and the person taking our order was very friendly. Plenty of seats and it was very bright and open in the cafe. The food came out quickly. I ordered the warm Mediterranean bowl and it was pretty good. The baguette was hard as a rock and cold, so I was unimpressed with that. Drinks from the fountain are over $3.00, so we just chose water. Prices in general were high for what you got. read more

How does one screw up a grilled cheese sandwich? Stay away from this location as they simply have no pride. Additionally there was 8 people working and 2 customers. No one even acknowledged me after 10 minutes in the store. I stood at the same table where a manager was (had Panera jacket, name tag, was working on his computer with headphones on). So this review has to do with CONSISTENT problems at this particular Panera: *over-baked hard baggetts (EVERY TIME) *inappropriate serving size (You pick 2 serving size of soup/sandwich SHOULD NOT be the same size portion as a Duet soup/sandwich! b/c the You pick 2 is several $ more! *online orders & drive thru orders should be customizable, same as "dine-in" orders *for take-out salads, dressing should always be on-the-side, never ON the salad! read more

I usually review restaurants with positive remarks but I was so angry with a take home order that was not drive through but made in this Panera. We ordered Pepperoni & Sausage Flat Bread which was ok and correct as ordered. BUT.. ordered pick 2 of Salad and a Chicken Salad Sandwich. Then a Vegetable Soup to go. We got the 1/2 of Chicken Salad Sandwich. But no Salad. But a Chicken Sandwich and French Onion Soup - yuch. How is it that when you go into Panera and a "person" takes your order and it could be so wrong when you get home!!! Tried to call to talk to a manager to complain and get a recording please call back when we are not in the dinner service to talk to a manager OR service manager...blah blah... Why 4 stars? Great to have a Panera close by. Easy in and out with a drive thru option as well. Pick 2 for the win! The food is always decent, good soup options and great little sweet treats. The highlight here was the manager on duty the day we went as she was friendly, outgoing and on top of every order to ensure it was correct and people were not waiting to long without being acknowledged. I went to Panera to find a special round challah bread for Rosh Hashanah. Both the girl at the counter and her coworker were unfamiliar with this bread and told me they didn't make challah at this location. They gave me some suggestions for other bakeries in the area that might make challah. They asked me about this bread and enthusiastically listened to me share about how challah is part of this holiday. They apologized for the inconvenience and helped my daughter pick out a special cookie. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and it warms my heart to know that there are people like these two who care. I didn't find exactly what I needed today, but I will definitely be returning to this Panera for the outstanding service. read more

Trust the bad reviews! Don't waste your time and money. I thought these reviews must be just bad days for this Panera however I honestly cannot believe how this company thinks they are conducting good business. I'm not sure if they are having financial troubles but charging $8 for a tiny soup is absurd especially when the soup was all broth with maybe 3 noodles and a sliver of chicken. I literally still can't believe what I received for my $8! I hope they realize charging these amounts for the quality/quantity provided will eventually catch up with them ultimately putting them out of business. The focus here should be earning customers repeat business by providing quality for a good value. There is no value here and there is no quality. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. In the morning, if you got your food you ordered ahead on time, then you're luckier than me. Every morning I ordered online at this location 30 minutes before I pick up my one drink order at the rapid pick up, I still have to wait for more minutes. I have to put in my review this time when I have enough of this location. This Wednesday morning, I ordered my one drink and to be pick up at the rapid pick up, I got there, it's not there, I stand in front of the counter by the kitchen and waited for someone to say : can I help you?. I stand and try to get someone attention to help me and give me my drink cup so I can fill the drink, but no one cares. I even said: excuse me! There are not 3 or 4 staffs standing around. There are about 10 staffs working in the kitchen and chatting with each other about their life! They're too focusing on talking about each other life, they just ignore the customers! Everything about this Panera is great except the thermostat. This place is FREEZING at all times. Their power bill must be insane. It can be middle of summer and you will be shivering inside within 5 minutes. Your warm food will be ice cold even faster. I'm not sure what the deal is. Make sure to check your bag before leaving drive through. Left out a whole sandwich in a two entree order. Be prepared to be treated rudely if you do leave without your order and decide to come back. The manager has hid behind the line when I was looking to speak with her about the mistake. There was no apologies. The manager didn't care to offer anything for the waste of time. This place had kiosk to order food, the workers were on dinner break and the other girl around was sweeping and cleaning the bathroom. I would of had better customer service going through the drive thru. The soup was cold sitting on the counter top, as i waited for the pager to go off. Where has all the customer service gone.
