Came in for dinner this evening. Immediately greeted. They weren't busy with customers dining in, however were quite busy with pickup orders. We placed our order and decided to dine in. Food was out in about 10 minutes and was hot and fresh. The restaurant is clean and plenty of seating available. I ordered the Dolmades meal which comes with either a Greek salad or soup as well as pita bread. The visual appeal of the food wasn't great, especially with the sauce over the Dolmades. But it was delicious and plentiful. I couldn't even eat it all. I think next time I'll ask for no sauce on the Dolmades. When the staff brought me the food she even asked if I needed extra dressing. The pita bread was nice and hot which was a nice touch! To go containers are self serve! Just grab the size of your choice. Staff was extremely nice and even gave me a bag to carry the to go containers before we left.

The only miss for me was the raw white part of the green onions in the salad, they were a bit too chunky for my taste. The chicken, though? Perfectly grilled...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It came with a tzatziki sauce that was more on the liquidy side, which isn't my favorite texture, so I just used it as a dip for the chicken and hummus. Heads-up: the menu on their official site isn't updated, but if you Google "Tasty Mediterranean," it shows accurate prices and lets you order online. It came out to $17.99 plus tax , which is a little pricey for lunch, but the portions were solid and the staff were super friendly so no complaints there!

I got a bowl with and they allowed you to pick a base, protein, 3 toppings, and 2 sauces for $14. The chicken shawarma and baba ghanouj were the stars of the show. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great middle eastern cuisine in the Westchase area.

I spent a…read morelot of time growing up in Greek restaurant with Greek immigrants so I learned a lot about Greek food and Greek cuss words. Always brings back memories... Service was great, food was hot, portion/cost ratio is starting to creep up there... but food was great and a lot of attention to detail. Soup, gyro, humus great as usual, but I tried the Greek fries which were great, nice scoop size chips, which would be great to dip with something, and that damn mojo pork sandwich. That sandwich was great, bread tastes made in house, garlic mayo spot on, the pork had tons of flavor and was tender as could be. The softer bread made it easier to suck up all that juice...The "juice" that comes with it was great but not even really needed. My only negative was they switched to Pepsi somewhere along the way.... Boooooooo. Coke would have went so much better with the saltiness of the pork and gyro/soup. Though with my experience with restaurants through the years, small chains typically switch to Pepsi shortly before going out of business. Hope that's not the case here, because I think they have a great product. I'll definitely be back, and I'll be sure to bring a coke with me.... Beyond the drink, Kendra was an outstanding host friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. For food, I ordered a burger, fries, and a cheeseburger, and they were off the chain. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection, making the whole experience that much better. Kendra and this location deserve kudos. The restaurant was clean and there's an outdoor area to smoke hookah as well. Our server was so sweet and we absolutely adored her! The food did take a while on the wait but the portions were pretty huge for the prices. We had the following: Appetizer sampler (hummus, tirosalata, tzatziki, and baba ghanouj. served with fresh pita) - 8/10 - this was so fresh and delicious! All the dips were made fresh and covered in olive oil. The pita was baked fresh and went so well with the dips! The sizes of the dips were massive and we had plenty to take back to our hotel. It took me back to Greece and it made me super happy. I love eggplant and the baba ghanouj was smokey, creamy, and so much eggplant flavor. There was a dip that I haven't tried yet called tirosalata and it's made with feta cheese and garlic and topped with oregano and olive oil. That was probably my second favorite dip next to to the baba ghanouj. It was tangy and enjoyable on the palate. The hummus and tzatziki dips were also hits and we enjoyed every single bite. We had some leftover and the sweet waitress gave us some extra fresh pita bread to take home. Castoria chicken salad - 8/10 - my friend had this and really enjoyed it. It had lettuce, jalapeno, grilled chicken, cucumber, tomato, onion, and avocado in a garlic aioli dressing topped with cheese and pita chips. She said it was one of the better salads she's had and was super fresh. the portion size was huge and she had plenty to take back to enjoy later. I tried some of her salad and I agree, it was delicious. Greek Souvalki wrap - 7/10 - my husband had this with the Greek fries and he seemed to like it. It was good, but he said he's had better ones. The pork tenderloin was tender and flavorful and he enjoyed the fries (had feta cheese on them). The fries were fried perfectly, golden brown with a satisfying crunch to them. The feta cheese crumbles on top were an excellent addition to the hot fries as it melted onto them. Overall, we would come back again if we're in the area. The prices were pretty decent for the portion sizes. The only slight complaint was that the food took a while and we were getting tired as it was getting pretty late. Nonetheless, even though it's a chain, the food was decent and good.

I've actually had CAVA before, but it had been a few years since the last time I went, so I was excited to try it again. We both ended up getting bowls, and everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. I got arugula and brown rice as my base with harissa honey chicken, tzatziki and hummus, plus corn, pickled onions, pita crisps, pita chips on the side, and the yogurt dill sauce. Everything mixed together so well and had a really good balance of flavors and texture. The harissa honey chicken had a really good sweet and spicy flavor without being too overpowering. For my drink, I mixed the blueberry lavender drink with lemonade and it was SO good and refreshing. My mom got the garlic dressing on her bowl and I highly recommend trying it because it was really flavorful and paired well with everything. The portions were great, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the whole meal felt light but still filling. Definitely a place I'd come back to again!
