Sometimes we did a quick lunchtime treat. I have not been here in ages but decided to try Panera Bread after hearing about it from friends and how good it is. I ordered from the app and I'll give you a pro tip. You're able to modify each item and add a few extra toppings or what they call up to 5 customizations. After you placed your order, you just pull up to the drive-through and let them know and the attendant gets it all ready for you. They're always friendly and fast so in the end, you have no weight if you order about 10-15 minutes in advance. The drive-through menu is always easy to read, and even though I didn't eat inside Panera bread restaurants are always clean and nice to eat at. Today I ordered the Mediterranean salad and was surprised they even got chicken with it which I don't recall seeing on my order. I love adding some veggies to it and the crunch on this one was absolutely amazing. It had so many different toppings and all for under $10. Trust me, the modifications are worth it! Asiago Everything Bagel: Panera Honey Walnut Cream Cheese Spread: Most of us know Panera is a bakery-café fast casual restaurant chain with thousands of locations in the United States and Canada. What I didn't know, was the chain operates as Saint Louis Bread Company in the Greater St. Louis area. The name comes from a word that has roots in the Latin word for "breadbasket" (Classical pānārium, Vulgar pānāria) and is exactly the same to the word for "breadbasket" in Spanish. Panera offers a wide array of pastries and baked goods, like bagels, brownies, cookies, breads, and muffins. Their new Asiago Everything Bagel is topped with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic, dried onion, salt, and of course plenty of asiago cheese inside and out. Bagels typically are not a part of my diet, but cheese definitely is. The exterior of the bagel is crispy from the baked asiago cheese, but the interior is still soft and fluffy. There's a distinct fragrance from the cheese, garlic, and onion that also separates this from your standard bagel. It does not have the traditional hole in the center, which makes it ideal for sandwiches. I didn't want to mask it's flavors too much for my initial review, so I opted to pair it with the honey maple walnut cream cheese spread and it paired nicely enough. As much as I like garlic and onions, those flavors came off a little stronger than I would have liked. I haven't been to Panera Bread in a while. Today, I stop by with coworkers for lunch. Today was a perfect day to visit as today is the first day for their fall menu. Amber greeted us with a smile. She was friendly and patient as she answered questions my coworker had about the menu. Amber took our orders and even reminded me to add my phone number so I could receive credit for the visit. Once we completed ordering, we didn't have to wait long. The food was prepared in a timely manner. I ordered a cup of the Autumn Squash Soup and an Oatmeal Raisin with Berries Cookie. The soup was amazing! It was perfect and helped warm me up as my office can get really cold. The Oatmeal Raisin Cookie added the finishing touch. This visit reminded me of why I love Panera Bread. This was my first time going to Panera, typically I am a picky eater. I ordered the pick 2 where I was able to get half a sandwich ( Italian) and half the Cesar salad and it was delicious, I love that you can customize it as much as you want for your needs! You place your order on an IPad and then wait for your name to be called. When my name was called the nice worker told me they didn't have a specific cheese for the salad and offered an alternative and it's little things like that, that make first experience great! My partner got the bbq chicken sandwich and said it was delicious, the chicken was soft and there were no fatty or chewy pieces. I also got a free pastry for signing up for their rewards program ( worth it)! The bathroom, for the girls once you walked in had a fragrance to it ( it smelled delightful) I've never walked into an establishments restroom and had it actually have a delightful smell! When I went on my vacation to Orlando Florida for a little bit I stopped by the Panera for lunch! The quality of the food was not so pleasing, the bread was very very dry and I understand that Panera is laying off the people making the breads right now, but there are so many other Panera that manage to make the bread just right even with limited material! This location plays it so stupidly safe all the time! The ambience was fine. It wasn't like hell or anything! Overall, this Panera is fine! But it's just so infuriating looking at the quality of the food at this location! I was not so happy and pleased! The place looked messy sometimes too! We were strapped for time. Silly me picked another Panera Bread to go to and it was closed. It also was far from the next place we had to be: the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Then we wound up at this location as it was closer to our venue. We managed to eat and make it to our show on time, but sigh, this location left a lot to be desired. The pastries frankly were trash. They were stale, and a chocolate chip cookie claiming to be warm, was cold. The location didn't have a lot of people, but service was slow as molasses. My companion ordered a sandwich, but he wasn't too pleased with it. I ordered a cup of broccoli cheddar soup, and while it tasted fine, that day everything seemed salty to me. That last bit could've been me solely or the soup. At any rate, we waited quite a bit, staff was blasé at best, and truly the one saving grace of this place was the fact that it was open, presented edible food, and was near our show. read more

Was in the mood for some Panera Bread today so I ordered on the app, this is my first time doing it and it was very easy and simple! I ordered the steak and white cheddar panini and I like to get it with xtra horseradish, xtra red onion, spinach and tomatoes. Every single time I order it like this, it's ALWAYS messed up someway, somehow. Any other Panera bread I go to gets it right but for some reason this location can't get it together and I go here quite frequently because it's so close to my house. When I went through the drive-thru I told them I was here to pick up my order and they gave it to me and told me they didn't have any horseradish. That's fine that they are out, I can understand when you don't have a product but it seems to be a common theme here. I also ordered a Margarita Flatbread, it was very delicious and can't wait to get another one! The absolute worst customer service....20 people working here and only 1 at the cash register, who happens to be a moron. All I ordered was a bagel and scone, and she couldn't figure out how to ring up a gift card. 10 people now in line behind me witnessing this tragedy. Another person has to come over and immediately processes payment. Meanwhile, she starts taking another order without getting my bagel and scone. Panera has some good food and I appreciate that they attempt to use only natural ingredients. That being said I really think the prices are really high. Soup and Salad for 2 with drinks that you have to order at a counter and retrieve with a buzzer should not cost $35.00. We came before closing but we weren't even sure that it was open because they started cleaning up the outside. The cashier customer service not good. I had to walk to the cashier and greet her because she was staring blanking into space after just helping a customer. She did not ask me what side I wanted. I didn't even know I had an option of a side. She just assumed I would want a baguette. It's hard to mess up a salad. My boyfriends Cesar Salad was fine but the croutons were stale. My green goddess salad was a little disappointing because one piece of my avocado was perfect but the other was hard and not ripe yet. The egg was overly hard boiled and rubbery looking. I have eaten at Panera a lot, and, although it's expensive, I keep going back, because usually the food is fresh and tasty. Today was my first time ordering online and picking up at the drive-thru window. The line moved quickly, and they got the order right. What can I say? Panera is Panera. If you've been to one, you've been to them all. The food is always the same no matter which one you go to. They're about being good for you but their food really isn't that good for you. Trust me. Asiago bagels, blueberry muffins, cinnamon scones- all fantastic. Sign up for their emails/rewards! They're giving one free bagel to the rewards members everyday this month, and you can rack up points for free items or discounted items. The pick two option is always best, they have tons of different options you can choose from. I always go with the bacon turkey bravo with the caesar salad with extra dressing (the dressing always seems to lack in their salads). All of their soups are worth giving a try too, and get the side of a french baguette instead of chips to dip in the soup. Service is friendly, seems a bit robotic at times, except this morning all of the employees just seem to be standing around on their phones and not doing much. One of the best things for me is the rapid pick up. Order online and pick your food up from the shelf to skip the line! And they have that free wifi. Gotta love it. read more

This location has some of the most friendliest staff I've come across. I'm always greeted with a cheerful smile and a willingness to serve. It's important to me to feel welcomed and enjoy my visit, especially in the early mornings when I'm just getting going and don't want to be bothered by too much. They deliver every single time. It's conveniently located at the front of the food court inside the Mall at Millenia. So you don't have to fight with the usual mall crowd or deal with anything related to the mall. It's literally a get in and get out kind of experience. And if you ever want it to be faster than that, place your order online and pick it up as soon as you get there. Ordered an iced coffee from here and never will again. It was very very dilute and I even had to ask them to remake it, which i never do. Even when they remade it, was still dilute so much so that it didn't even taste like coffee. Redeeming quality is that the customer service I experience from the cashier was stellar. I work nearby and have tried for 17 months randomly to get lunch here and they close whenever they want to, 'the kitchen is already cleaned' THREE HOURS BEFORE CLOSING and unless it's a lunar moon on a Tuesday when the solar system is on a semi tilt when the moon is in the second house and your favorite color is chamomile will they even consider making Mac and cheese or a sandwich. On Nov 17th, 2021 I had a togo order for over $200. The website said that they use Doordash for deliveries. My delivery was supposed to take place at 11:15am. At 11:20am I looked up my order and it told me my order was cancelled. I called the store and they told me my order was at their store. I had some pick it up. Two sandwiches were missing. My receipt showed there was a $18 "Convenience Fee:, $1 delivery fee and a $10 tip. When I called the 1-800 number Panera cust svc # they told me they will call the store, since its a franchise and get me a refund for all of the above. I called the 1-800 # 3 times and no one called me back or reacted to my issue. Finally, I called the store directly, spoke to manager and told me it was Doordashes problem. No where on the Panera receipt did it show or reference Doordash, all my money went to Panera. I reminded her of the 2 missing sandwiches and she said it was not her problem and hung up on me. This location is the newest in Orlando, so naturally there was some modern technical installations when creating the brick and mortar location near Millenia mall. Being one of my favorite restaurants to begin with it was no question "panera or shake shack" as both locations are right next to one another. This panera has a drive through but if you choose to dine-in you can order via an ipad device with your 'my panera' account to the point where you don't have to actually swipe your card or order the 'old fashioned way' by ordering with a human being. My reaction to this new technological way to order was wishy washy. Not really knowing how I felt because one more machine theoretically means one less job for an actual human being, but I tried it out anyway so I understood the process. Fairly easy but I see how it could actually take MORE time depending on the business demand. It was a perfect day for turkey chili so that's exactly what I ordered with a piece of bread. Visited this Panera late one weekday evening. What can I say, a Panera is a Panera. The decor is almost always the same no matter which location you visit, and the atmosphere is similar too. This location happened to be rather quiet. Its tucked in the back corner of the Millenia mall's food court area. We were greeted when we came in. It took several minutes for our food to be ready even tho there was no line, but the quality food was good. Panera's are pretty consistent across the board. The tables could have used a better cleaning. (Slightly sticky), but the rest of the place seemed well kept. Overall, not a bad experience. No different from any other. read more

What happen Panera? After my last two visits here I think I'll be choosing somewhere else for lunch. Despite Panera being one of the more pricy options for lunch/ dinner in my food quart I still chose to come here on many occasions because I felt like it was worth it. However lately I can't relate to this sentiment. Unfortunately it seems to me as though service has slipped at this location. Last time I came here I got the Fuji Apple salad with a side of chili. My salad was not satisfactory... I bit into two apple stems and my lettuce was slightly brown. My chili was luke warm. I didnt have time to replace my meal due to short lunch break but they were kind enough to offer me a free meal for next time. I decided to give Panera another chance today. Since the Fuji Apple is my favorite salad I decided to try it again. It took me a month because I was so bothered by last time. This time was just as bad. There was no line thankfully and my order came up fast but this time my lettuce in my salad was so dry no amount of dressing could help it. I'm a big fan of all types of lettuce, even arugula but this didn't taste fresh. They did however include a great amount of chicken but it didn't make up for the important thing in a salad... which is lettuce. The biggest thing surrounding my disappointment today was the stores appearance. I've never seen so many dirty tables. They had a girl doing trash and two people making food. They did seem busy but tables should be a priority. Why would I wanna eat at a dirty table after paying $10 for a salad? Not to mention first impression was already poor.
