We're Panera regulars, but we've only been to this location a couple times. The restaurant is very clean & employees are super nice. We used the self-order system, & right after submitting the order an employee came out & informed us that they were out of mac & cheese. Huge disappointment because their mac & cheese is like gold in a little cup, but we weren't too surprised because it was later in the night. They offered a bowl of soup instead, and even offered a sample to my daughter so she could make sure she liked it. They did forget part of our order, but the ladies working there were so nice & so helpful, they made up for the mistake. What happen Panera? After my last two visits here I think I'll be choosing somewhere else for lunch. Despite Panera being one of the more pricy options for lunch/ dinner in my food quart I still chose to come here on many occasions because I felt like it was worth it. However lately I can't relate to this sentiment. Unfortunately it seems to me as though service has slipped at this location. Last time I came here I got the Fuji Apple salad with a side of chili. My salad was not satisfactory... I bit into two apple stems and my lettuce was slightly brown. My chili was luke warm. I didnt have time to replace my meal due to short lunch break but they were kind enough to offer me a free meal for next time. I decided to give Panera another chance today. Since the Fuji Apple is my favorite salad I decided to try it again. It took me a month because I was so bothered by last time. This time was just as bad. There was no line thankfully and my order came up fast but this time my lettuce in my salad was so dry no amount of dressing could help it. I'm a big fan of all types of lettuce, even arugula but this didn't taste fresh. They did however include a great amount of chicken but it didn't make up for the important thing in a salad... which is lettuce. The biggest thing surrounding my disappointment today was the stores appearance. I've never seen so many dirty tables. They had a girl doing trash and two people making food. They did seem busy but tables should be a priority. Why would I wanna eat at a dirty table after paying $10 for a salad? Not to mention first impression was already poor. The staff is nice and it's basically like any other Panera except for the fact that they like to charge $8 for a large Mac & Cheese that's not even half way filled. I ordered the soba noodles where the noodles tasted a bit funny (I have had this dish before and loved it) the half sandwich I got was yummy (chipotle chicken) and the Mac & Cheese was the major issues for me because paying $8 for a large Mac & Cheese should mean you're getting a good amount or that the container is at least filled, but not here. read more

Ordered curbside through the app and went to pick up. Waited over 15 minutes and no one came to bring the order. Decided to walk in and no one could tell me about the order. The manager came and said that the order is there but they didn't know that it was a curbside order. If there's a car for over 15 minutes in the curbside parking is probably b/c the customer is expecting an order. Panera Bread continues to be a good place to grab a quick meal and/or a great pastry and cup of coffee. I stopped in the other night for dinner and to try out their new steak and blue cheese salad. It was around 6 pm and not busy so I got my food quickly. I have had to wait 10 to 15 min for food in the past on busy afternoons so the whole min I waited for my salad was great. The new Steak and Blue Cheese salad was good. I liked the combination of flavors and as large as it was, I ended up eating the whole thing! I liked the fried onions they sprinkled in and everything was fresh and tasty. Like others, having the free wi-fi is great but they do limit the amount of time you can be on it during their busy times of day (normally lunch time and the early afternoon) but later in the day it is unlimited. The staff is nice and seem to enjoy working there. I remember when Panera first hit the area of Orlando and I had many bad experiences with the staff in their stores but training has gotten better and the staff is most of their stores give good service. I always see if people are smiling or not. As a previous trainer in the retail field, smiling employees is a good sign they are happy and being treated well. BTW, I love their bagels! Great varieties of flavors and smears. I just wish they opened at 6:30am instead of 7am so I could stop by in the morning and buy bagels for my team! I have to be at work by 7am so when its my turn to bring bagels, I have to go to the other bagel place down the street that is open an hour earlier than them. Hopefully they might read this a think about it but hey... I am only one sale that early every few weeks so it might not be worth the money to open early just for one customer. ;-) Anyway, this Panera is a good place to stop for a quick lunch or dinner while enjoying the mall. Every Panera I've been to has essentially identical food, so reviewing it seems superfluous; you either like it or not. Panera always seems a bit like a bait and switch to me, as they bill themselves as healthy, yet most of what they serve is not particularly good for you. Just look at that bakery display! But you can eat healthy if you try, and assuming their calorie counts are honest they must have the lowest calorie tuna sandwich on the planet. Also, did you know you can get an apple instead of chips? What sets Paneras apart is the location, and this one is well-sited. It's easy to get in and out, has lots of parking, and even a drive through. Also, there is a porch, so you can eat outside, yet be in the shade. Service is friendly, but I sure wish they wouldn't page you before your food is up, a reliable occurrence. What's the point of the pager if you're just going to stand at the counter anyway? You can also order online and pick your food up in a bag on the shelf; very convenient. read more

We visited the Millenia location Thursday Sept. 8, 2022 for dinner. The restaurant was quiet and very few customers. The Self service kiosk was how we placed our order. The kiosk in the Front center kept declining our cards. We tried 4 different cards. When we alerted the cashier, Esther, she did nothing to get someone to assist in taking our order manually at her register. Instead she continued her tasks on her cell phone. After waiting 10 minutes. We decided to try another kiosk. Finally our order was accepted and our cards were accepted. We alerted Esther that there should be a sign for the malfunctioning kiosk, but we were ignored. The restaurant was fully staffed but the main cashier was just too busy with her cell phone. Once food was ready, the salad was missing the main ingredient of chicken. ‍ What a complete disappointment with this chain restaurant. I guess standards have reduced since the pandemic. I'll only visit this restaurant again if it's my last resort. Too many other better choices close by to choose from. read more

First, upon walking in, the location is very pretty, and appealing. There was a child dragging a table from one side of the entrance to the other. The cashier seemed friendly, but as if she were ready to close the sale before my partner could order his food. I told her I had the membership to which she let me know the system was down. When the sale was finalized, she handed me the receipt without a "Thank you" to make the experience pleasureable. The area to wait for the food was a bit busy, so we got our drinks and waited to be called by our table, since we were not given pagers like at other locations. When the young lady called my name, the order had a couple of issues. First, I had ordered a Frontega chicken sandwich, and I had a soup and salad on my plate. My partner did not have his french baguette on his plate. The young lady didnt apologize for the errors, she just corrected them and continued. We saw the issues were not only with us, so there needs to be an improvement there. The food was not the best, like we have had at the plantation location or the Irlo Bronson location. The avocado melt my partner had did not have an even distribution of the avocado. The broccoli and cheese soup was very runny, it just seemed like water with broccoli and cheese in it. The caesar salad had 2 drops of dressing, and was dry. The frotega sandwich was the good part of our meal, and yet it was soggy. The food may have had issues, but if the service would have been more pleasant, I may not have minded. However, this location needs some improvement. I'd like to put in a good word for Panera since it moved from inside the food court at Millenia Mall. It is now on Conroy Road in front of the Mall. It is right next to Shake Shack, and you'll miss it if you blink. There is now a drive-thru, but the interior is very nice. Much better lit and more spacious than the old place. I was completely disgusted by the service at this store. I purchased my favorite meal: half sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup and a chocolate chip cookie, on my lunch break. I was unable to eat it at the time of purchase because a client called and my lunch was cut short. When I finally settled to eat my food saving my cookie for last I bit into a cookie filled with what looked to be PUBIC HAIR! And when I called to report the issue I was taken through the ringer to finally be told it was not their responsibility and they were not liable! Even if the cookies are pre packaged there's no way it should have been placed to sell... just look at the pictures! Panera's food is exquisite. Although, their employees make me think otherwise. My daughter walked in after a jog to get a cup of water. She did not know that the water was free since she is very young. She asked one of the employees if it was free, they said yes and gave her a cup which was quite nice. But what they did next twisted my mind, the way she described it was that they were talking about how she was "stupid" for not knowing and stated "whats wrong with her?" And overall, saying some nasty things about her. She was very upset about this incident and came to me. As a mother I was feeling quite shocked and of course, upset about the situation. I would not like this to happen to any other person. So, I'm telling you to please get to know your employees and their personalities before hiring them. Thank you for your time. read more

This Panera is located at the mall of Millenia next to the food court entrance. There is typically plenty of parking on that side of the mall, so it's a good spot. I visited for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was around 11 on a Sunday and I ordered a souffle (Panera breakfast souffles are amazing). The first issue I had was that there was only 1 type of souffle available. Yeah, I know that they tend to run out early, but the mall had just opened. So, I ordered one of the ones available. After I paid I was given a pager to wait, so I got my cup of coffee and grabbed a table. It was a pretty long wait and when the pager went off only part of my order was there. I was missing the souffle. It turns out my souffle had been waiting the whole time at the bakery counter. So, that's one of those things that it would have been quite helpful for the cashier to mention. (And I have ordered the souffle before, but I usually do the drive-thru or take-out at my regular Panera, so I really didn't know.) It kind of bugged me that my food had been left out on the counter for so long. But I was hungry, so whatever. Undeterred, I decided to go back again a week later. For lunch. With my mom. We had a bit of trouble with the line (or more like aimless group of people gathered around the cashiers). Our cashier was obviously new and not the best. Between the two trips I can say that I had to make way too many separate trips to the pick-up counter for cutlery. Why are they so stingy with their silverware? The food is always on point here. I usually order directly from the Panera application and my food is always waiting for me when I arrive. With that said, I had an irritating experice when I ordered some pastries for an important business meeting. I ordered a sizable platter of pastries and bagels a couple days in advance. When I arrived the morning of my meeting to pick up my order, I informed them that I was there to retrieve my breakfast order. They said okay and began putting my everything together. I was pretty upset because when I indicated the pick up time, I meant that I wanted it to be ready when I picked it up, not that I wanted them to start it when I came to pick up. Roughly 20 minutes later, they handed me 2 bags of food. I took them out to the car and decided to check it before leaving. I relized that they had completely forgotten a specific type of bagel I had ordered, which I had requested 3 of. I carried all of the food back in and waited several minutes for someone to help me. I told them I was missing a few items and they proceeded to tell me that they were out of that specific type of bagel and that is why there wasnt any in my bag. Seems like something they could have mentioned before I lugged all the food back and forth. I got somewhat of an apology and they added another type of bagel to my order to make up for the 3 missing ones. I ended up being on time for my meeting, but had no time before hand to set up breakfast as I had originally planned. Bottom line: Good food. Poor catering service. read more

This is a pretty busy location since it's located towards the back of the mall at the entrance to the food court. They have so many employees working but I feel like no one is in sync. We arrived fairly early in the day . The line was building up but there was no organization as to where it began and ended. Luckily there were about 4 registers open so they knocked out the line pretty quickly. I decided to order the chicken sorrentina pasta bowl as my meal and received a pager for when my order was ready. Unfortunately, when my pager buzzed I walked up to the counter to be told that they haven't had that pasta available in a long time and that the girl who took my order was new and didn't know. Seemed to me that there was a breakdown in communication if she wasn't informed of this. I was a little annoyed at the thought of having to go back in line to reorder but thankfully the employee behind the counter suggested the Pesto Sacchettini as an alternate option. I ended up enjoying this option since I'm a pesto fan so kudos to her for the quick thinking and suggestion. On another note, my friend had ordered a soufflé. She discovered that it had been sitting out on the counter waiting for her after she paid but had assumed it would come out at the counter where the hot food is made. Again, poor breakdown in communication. The person ringing her up should've let her know or at the least brought the dish out to her. For the most part, the food is good and they offer fairly healthy options. Not to mention free wifi. Just come here with some patience and you'll be ok. read more

Loved that Panera has such well crafted breakfast idea full of the most needed nutrients any person requires every morning, egg white, avocado, spinach and begal. Came by this new location this morning and discovered there is a drive thru. The drive thru was honestly one of my favorite things about this new Panera location. It's so nice not having to get out of your car. I ordered their bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun and my mouth is honestly still watering. It was absolutely fabulous. Panera 4060 Conroy Road : Ordered at Drive-Through ...Paid at window ... cashier left, then came back and asked me to move my car to one of the Handicapped Spaces & wait for someone to bring my food. I declined to move because I'm not going to park illegally, there were NO CARS waiting behind me, & I didn't order at a drive-through to wait forever for someone to bring an order out to my parked car. I asked why she wanted me to move. She said they were behind on their orders. I told her it didn't make sense to ask a customer to move when no one is waiting behind me. She left. Then, the manager came to the window & asked me to move (STILL NO CARS WAITING BEHIND ME). I asked the manager to refund my order. So... two questions (1) If you don't have time to make my drive-through order, why did you take my order? (2) When I'm ticketed for illegally parking in a handicapped space, is Panera paying that fine? And.... legally representing me to remove the violation from my record? ...really bad business. PANERA you need to hire additIonal employees for this location & provide adequate training. Okay so my boyfriend got a bacon turkey bravo and I got a strawberry poppyseed salad with soup. We come to Panera ALL THE TIME LITERALLY. We go to this location and the Windermere location and we NEVER HAVE PROBLEMS Until today. For some reason the cashier heard Italian sandwich that has salami which my boyfriend never orders so idk what happened and how she thought she heard him say that. But that's not the problem. When my boyfriend went to tell them about the problem nicely, the manager was VERY VERY rude about it and told him to throw it away and she will have to refund it but all he wanted was the right sandwich. They had a huge issue with getting him the right sandwich and to make it all worse, the receipt specifically states that "accuracy matters" and it has some thing about happily replacing the food they messed up and they did not treat him nicely AT ALL. The manager was at the window where you pick up your food to take it to the table. We are not upset with the cashier as much as we are with the manager. read more
