Bacon bits on the bacon sandwich.

We've always enjoyed Panera Bread, but have not been to this one in some time. It was very disappointing. French onion soup has shredded cheese that's not melted and very little of it. The bacon guava sandwich has bacon bits. Just a few. Very disappointed. Definitely not like it used to be.

This place was lit up brighter than a prison. Good selection - clean store - and seemingly polite staff. And that's where the kind words end... My mobile order included the Tuesday Baker's dozen bagel special, the Baker's dozen bagel bag with two cream cheese, and a large coffee. Special instructions were: cut each bagel in half, include lots of butter - along with plates and knives. It wasn't until I arrived at my morning event of 20 plus people that I learned none of the bagels were cut in half, and that butter wasn't included. The cream cheese was the wrong flavor, and the plates and knives were nowhere to be found. Basically, I received a bag full of useless bread. Epic fail. The only reason for rating two stars rather than one was the super polite staff. That, and the fact the place was lit up brighter than a prison.

This is a Greek yogurt parfait ordered on December 31.

This is our third visit to this location. Every time has been a very long wait, there was no one in front of us. It took 22 minutes to make a sandwich that only has ham and cheese. AND did you know that you CAN NOT order a half of a sandwich? (Even though they have it on the pick 2 menu as a half of a sandwich.) The (expired) yogurt was the only other thing on our order. Also, I don't write reviews just so you know.

Has a Caesar salad- they did tell me they were out of croutons. The chicken had gray spots in the corners and this was my salad (see below) it just didn't seem worth the cost at all

    Fucking ridiculous

What kind of sandwich is this. I've never seen it look like this. Every time I order from this location either half my soup cup is empty or my sandwich looks like y'all picked off half the contents inside of it and ate it yourself. Y'all mess up my order every time .. get it together it's not rocket science.

Chicken & Pepp Melt with NO cheese on the sandwich? For a new location the service and attention to details are horrible.

So we headed to Zen Dumplings on Baymeadows Road, where soup dumplings are very much the point. We started with a scallion pancake, wafer-thin and crisp, with enough scallion flavor to make its presence known. A little table-side chili crunch turned it into an excellent opening act. Then came the main event, soup dumplings. We ordered a basket of chicken, plus the sampler, which includes one each of chicken, beef, shrimp, crab, pork, and truffle. All of them were good, but the pork was the one I kept thinking about. The broth was deeply savory, and the pork filling had the texture and flavor of a very good meatball hiding inside a dumpling. The crab and shrimp were close behind. The beef and chicken were solid. The truffle dumpling was a different animal altogether. It tasted like someone had taken a whole truffle and put it inside a dumpling. Truffle isn't usually my favorite flavor, but even I had to admit this one worked. We also ordered shrimp stir-fried noodles. The shrimp were cooked nicely and the noodles were perfectly respectable. Unfortunately, I am still haunted by the spectacular stir-fried noodles I had at Izakaya Ko a couple of weeks ago, and Zen's version had the misfortune of being compared to them. But I didn't come here for the noodles. I came for soup dumplings, and Zen Dumplings delivered. Sometimes that's all you need from lunch. The craving was specific, the solution was obvious, and Zen Dumplings scratched that itch.

We started with Hummus and Tata Chips, which was crispy pita chips with a standard (but delicious) hummus. The Tata chips had great flavor, like Stacy's Pita Chips but better! The firat course was White Bean Fahsulia, which was a rich and hearty bean stew that packed huge flavor! Second course was Falafel with Tahini Sauce. These were a nice little bite between dishes. The center of the falafel was light, fluffy, and flavorful! Course 3 was Masaka-Ah served with Timan Asfur Rice. While this dish was good, it was my least favorite of the evening. I ate half of the stew and passed the rest off to my husband, who loved it! Course 4 brought us Dolma's served with Roasted Vegetables. I LOVE stuffed grape leaves and these were seriously on point! Tart and tangy up front followed by a whole lot of savory. Course 5, my favorite, was the Spicy Curry Chicken served with White Rice. This was the dish that made me fall in love with Fast Eddy's food and had me coming back for more. I took a couple bites and got a to-go container to enjoy this later at home. Finally, we reached the end of our dinner and Course 6, dessert, came out. Freshly made, sweet and decadent, traditional baklava. Filo dough, crushed walnuts, butter, and honey. This just melted away once it hit my mouth. I don't eat a whole lot of sweets but this had me closing my eyes and enjoying every bite. Every time I've visited Fast Eddy's the staff has been amazing, friendly, and hospitable. And of course, the place being completely decked out with rock and metal music memorabilia, i feel right at home here. Oh, and there's never a time where I leave that place without an order of the Pasta Anatoli to-go!
