2-2-2 Breakfast*
Ruben L.

I decided to go here for breakfast this morning. Parking was slightly difficult to find, but after a few minutes I managed to find a parking space. The food here looks really good and they stay open slightly late too. I decided to order their 2-2-2 breakfast. Which, consists of two fluffy panels, two eggs, I choice over easy eggs, and either two stripes of crispy bacon or two sausage links. I decided to go with the sausage links. To wash all that generous portions of food down was some fresh and flavorful coffee, which I forgot to include within this picture. The service was really good this morning. Thank you for feedback me this morning. I'll definitely return here soon enough.

I for sure thought when walking in I was going to wait 30 mins. Groups of 9 to 11 people were waiting and on a Sunday, it's expected. The hostess said it was 15 - 20 mins so I set my timer since I was going to be outside. I came in and within 12 mins I was sat down! Wow!! Speedy service on a sunday! I ordered the Rio Grande skillet with carnitas. Seriously it was delicious and I had to have their world famous pie for dessert. I ordered their lemon pie. It was good but it wasn't like "Wow this blows my mind!" pie. The coffee was mediocre and a bit pricey if you ask me. Overall great breakfast. Would I come back? Yeah, I would. To try the french toast with a baked pie.

Our waitress was great she sat us took our drink order, gave us time to look over menu and came back timely. We ordered breakfast for dinner "brinner" and all of our food was cooked correctly and tasted good. It is a typical Village Inn located right before the busy part of St. Augustine. My daughter said it is better than Denny's and they actually know how to do biscuits and gravy. We will be back.

I visited this restaurant on December 21st. When we arrived it was pretty busy so there was a little wait. I chose the Inn-Credible VIB and got a half Belgian waffle, French toast, fried egg and bacon. The French toast was a bit undercooked but everything else was good. I also had a strawberry lemonade which was amazing and had just the right amount of sweetness. Before leaving I got a slice of the apple pie which was unbelievably delicious.

Great breakfast waffles were very good. The pancakes is artwork, they came out HOT just like I love them. Everything amazing and Brittany never let us run out of coffee or water.

We had our Father's Day breakfast at Village Inn this morning. The food was spot on, as was the service from our waitress, Brittany. Thanks again for a great time.

When I think of Village Inn the first thing that comes to mind is "Pie" and today is Wednesday a.k.a. "Free Pie Day" at Village Inn. I decided which slice I wanted before I looked at the breakfast menu it would be Strawberry Rhubarb, hands down the only one for me when available. Today that would only be a fantasy being we were just starting our day and there was no way I was eating this pie during breakfast service and the trip back to the RV before exploring St. Augustine wasn't an option even for free pie. The restaurant was fairly busy but there was no wait for a booth next to a window, Lisa arrived and introduced herself and gave us the full welcoming speech, I heard the same exact speech three other times during our visit verbatim, we ordered our drinks and I reviewed the pie menu knowing I wanted pancakes and link sausages. We placed our order and realized we were seated next to the community table that was filled with friendly locals that no doubt have been meeting here for years and apparently Lisa our server was part of the group since every moment in between her job responsibilities she spent hanging out at that table. Our waffles and pancakes arrived, delivered without a word or butter, they looked delicious but the absence of any additional butter was an issue so we asked Lisa in passing for some - she made several trips to the community table without stopping, after another 5-10 minutes we were able to distract her enough to hand signal "butter" as our breakfast cooled. Finally it arrived with what seemed to be a routine apology by this time I was over the entire experience and was ready to get back to enjoying our time in St. Augustine so we finished our beverages and walk to the counter to cash out - the hostess was friendly and asked us about our food like it was programmed in her but I felt the smile was genuine so it ended on a good note...

Late breakfast at Village Inn. A maybe 5 minute wait to be seated. I had the 2-2-2 two eggs two pieces of bacon and two pancakes. Was nice and hot - love the warm maple syrup and plenty of butter for my pancakes. Wife had the pick four - scrambled eggs plus two pieces of French toast with hash brown potatoes and fresh fruit. Excellent. Decaf coffee a little bitter only negative. So it's a 5. Good food and a large serving with plenty of parking. Good service. Seems like lots a locals eat here and ask to be seated in their favorite waitress's section. Our waitress was Ashley Z took grate care of us. Yep a 5.

The chicken fried steak skillet was great and the regular hashbrowns very crispy so the food is great. The service is very down to earth but good lobster is "hun"s. The ambiance is kind of Dennys or diner like. I'll be back.

One of the coolest touches? A TV disguised as a piece of art that's actually a live stream of downtown St. Augustine. Such a fun, unique detail! Now let's talk food I ordered the shrimp and grits tacos, and WOW--they were packed with flavor. The grits added this unexpected crunch that worked so well with the shrimp. The textures blended perfectly and made every bite interesting. My husband went for the Miyagi beef tacos... and let's just say there were zero leftovers. He cleaned his plate, which says everything. Great vibes, creative food, and a memorable experience all around. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

It got pretty busy while we were there, but impressively, they were running with just one server--and he absolutely held it down. Despite the crowd, he stayed attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly, which really stood out. The menu is where things get especially interesting--unique, playful, and definitely not your standard fare. I tried the chicken apple pie sandwich, which was as unexpected as it sounds. It was fun, different, and surprisingly good! It is one of those dishes you won't find just anywhere. Husband loved his upscale bologna sandwich and the waffle fries were yummy! Overall, Treylor Park delivers on atmosphere and creativity. It's a great spot if you're looking for something a little outside the box with a fun, energetic vibe and memorable food.

Fresh, flavorful, and our go-to every trip to St. Augustine…read more I've been visiting St. Augustine for the past eight years (my now-husband grew up here), and it's been amazing to see the town evolve--not just with elevated dining but healthier casual spots too. Crave has been one of our long-time favorites since the food truck days, and we were thrilled to discover their second location off US-1. The food is always fresh, packed with flavor, and reasonably priced. We stop here every time we visit--usually more than once--and always grab it to-go for our drive back to Atlanta. Obsessed, can you blame us? After that, they were very mealy...you know how those taste. So very disappointed after hearing good things about this place. We won't be back here. Plenty of other places to eat in SA. Restaurants are crying the blues about costs, but don't seem to care much about quality any longer. I don't know about you, but until these establishments can show me they care about customers and quality, I'm going to be cautious about spending my money on a lunch costing $70. You?
