This is the only V&S shop I go to even though this one is 15-20 minutes away and there is another one on Lancaster Ave 5 min from my house. The one in Sinking Spring.. well, don't get me started... I haven't been there in 6 years. I can't believe these places share the name V&S because they vary widely. But this place in Temple is terrific! If you're reading this and you're from out of town, let it be known that here in Berks County we make cheese steaks WITH sauce, by default. If you don't like that, then order without.

The shrimp in the taco was snappy and very well cooked. Their horchata was soooo good. It was comforting and full of flavor. Their accompanying sauces also did not disappoint. The green sauce was spot on and the heat sauce was pretty good too. As far as ambience, that probably was the only way in which Best Taco was lacking. The place is a little incomplete looking. It could use some charm and cohesion, perhaps some upgrades. But besides that, service & food were phenomenal. I really enjoyed the food at Best Taco. My husband ordered the big mess, which was a mixture of eggs, potatoes, onions, peppers, cheese, and he added in hot beef Italian sausage. It came with toast. That dish was huge! He really enjoyed it because he cleaned his plate. My dish also was wonderful. I loved the cheesy home fries paired up with the eggs to sop up the yolk. We did notice that they do a lot of food delivery business, with at least six people waiting to pick up food at any given time. By the time we left, the place was almost full. If we lived in Reading, we would frequent Marvel Ranch all the time. The food was great, the service was wonderful, the prices were reasonable, and the people were friendly.
