a bowl of soup, a sandwich, and tater tots
    Ray C.

It was my first time here and we really enjoyed the food. Parking and seating is limited, but fortunately there was only one other customer dining when we arrived. The interior is very homey and laid back -- it may be too casual for some, almost like eating at grandma's house with a register in the back. We started with a Barbecue Ground Beef sandwich, Naked Tater Bites, Classic Gourmet Grilled Cheese sandwich, Tomato Basil soup, a Pulled Pork Taco, and two cans of Diet Coke. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered another Barbecue Ground Beef sandwich, two more Pulled Pork Tacos, and some Naked Tater Bites. The prices are amazing -- best bang for the buck that I've seen in awhile. The Barbecue Ground Beef sandwich tastes DELICIOUS! We loved the Naked Tater Bites, they complement the sweet BBQ and Pulled Pork menu items perfectly. The Tomato Basil soup tasted really good. The Classic Gourmet Grilled Cheese sandwich was OK. The Pulled Pork Tacos were good at first, but the sweetness eventually becomes overwhelming -- like a sugar overload of sorts. If I return in the future, it will be definitely for the sloppy joe sandwiches, the tater tots, and possibly the tomato basil soup if I'm in the mood for that. Oh, I just noticed they have Mac & Cheese Bites -- I want to try that next time to see what they taste like. In summary, delicious comfort food at rock bottom prices!

Two soups, grilled cheese, root beer... All for $12!!

Service and food are excellent, I have eaten there twice now and both times everything was better than expected.

Great flavored pulled pork! The place is small but the food is awesome. I usually order it with their loaded tator bites on the side.

A great spot for comfort food. My kids (and I) enjoyed the fried mac and cheese bites.

SUPER SWEET bbq sauce. Sweet to the point that I could not eat it. But, service and the owners are great.

The menu offers appetizers, soups, pasta, pizzas, salads, entrees, and desserts with at least several options under each heading. The food was tasty and well cooked, and the portions were ample to generous. The service was attentive. The establishment makes it clear that there is a mandatory gratuity for groups of six or larger, split checks are not guaranteed for larger groups, and there is a 3% surcharge for credit card transactions. Be mindful of what you order. It can add up quickly. My companion and I wracked up a $200 bill between our drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Free parking is available after 5pm in the Cherry Street Parking Lot.

They have a large hearth wood fired oven in the center, and the place has a rustic feel. Cocktail menu has some classy drinks on it. Drinks were made fine and priced reasonably well. The dinner menu has a bit of everything. Cowboy ciao salmon salad was crispy and fresh, large and chock full of mix-ins. The steak and gorgonzola pizza was perfectly cooked and the gorgonzola was phenomenally savory! Definitely was surprised how good this combo was on a pizza. Had peach tart for dessert which was alright but felt a bit lacking after such a strong dinner. Presentation on all food / drink was quite nice. Overall, everything was great. Thanks

Outstanding experience. (Hope this review makes up for minor squabbles about Gracie's, which I too…read morelove!) Located a bit out of the way in the Flying Hills golf course, but worth the drive. Sports bar- Eagles vibe w/ a decent draft list. The kegs weren't working (seems to happen at every bar we attend these days) but still enjoyed a Mike & Merrill Philly Hazy IPA. Wings a good size, crisp, you know, the way wings used to be before everyone started charging an arm & a leg & serving broken pigeon wings. Classic "Buffalo" sauce & blue cheese dressing were good. FINALLY tried famous Caramel Burger (which I missed several times at the Hamburger festival). It did not disappoint. Good size, flavorful patty, & what these people do best- the bacon jam & caramelized bacon. The sweetness of the onions sings thru. Order it! Husband ordered seasonal special Frikadellen/Bratwurst Smash Burger. Skipping right to it- the cottage fries. (Gracie's/Louie's if you had this all the time we'd have no beef! LOL) INCREDIBLE! Crisp, thin, tender, amazing. If you follow me you know I am over the frozen fries served at every eatery in this country. Finally, amazingly pleasant, genuinely happy, server- Reese. She was on my side throughout this whole foodie journey, even the beer & burger mishap (initially burger served w/o cheese sauce). She's a keeper! We'll be back & will spread the word! Till then, stay on your toes! Thank you Louie's for a great meal.
