Absolutely awful. It doesn't matter what time it is. I've been here at 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 4pm or 5pm and it's still awful. The slowest Panera that ever exists, is right here on 191st street. Word of advice, pick up the pace! read more

It happened again. I should learn my lesson by now that this store can NEVER get their orders right. I went through the drive-through and ordered a cup of soup and a drink. I get back to work to find No bread. I call the store the let them know and they ask if I'm close by. One, I'm on my lunch hour at work and tell her this. She offers me 2 pieces of bread of the next time I come in. I have only had positive experiences at this location. I frequent this location multiple times a week for breakfast items. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I could not give five stars because the customer service is SO inconsistent! Sometimes I feel like I'm their best friend while just the other day I had three people stare at me without offering help. I decided to have a quick lunch alone at Panera and I was super impressed with all of the employees. The young lady on the register was delightful and very helpful with my order, the manager was super nice and handing out food in the pick up station, and there was a very nice gentleman walking around asking if everything was okay. I would never give this location a dime! My husband ordered a French baguette to go with dinner I prepared at home after he got off work. He let the employee Autumn know the bread was very hard. She told him it's suppose to be hard, as if she's educating him on bread. Had she listened to the customer and inspected the bread, she would have seen that it was burnt and over cooked. The bread was flat at that. To make matters worst, I called the store to speak with a manager, who didn't give a greeting or her name, she blamed it on a new recipe. Then she stated I will talk with my closing bakers they probably let it cook too long. She thanked me and I said you're welcome. Then all I hear is dial tone. Never did she say, I apologize how can I make this up or even do her job of trying to fix it according to her corporate policy on accuracy matters. This was a huge disappointment speaking with her. This location always seems to find ways to disappoint. Most Panera locations pride themselves on accuracy and timeliness, however, every single time I've been here, something goes wrong. Cold food, receiving incorrect food, and extremely long wait times (45+ min. for soup and a sandwich) top the list. My recommendation to management would be to not be afraid to fire staff if they don't meet performance standards. There are plenty who need jobs and are willing to work hard, so get rid of the dead weight employees who are just standing around or who can't seem to prepare food like other locations do. I've tried calling the corporate number but my message, as well as many other customers, aren't being taken to heart. There is something fundamentally wrong with this location. So if you're someone looking for a good experience, I'd go elsewhere. They're running out of free bakery items to give for their mistakes. read more

This is the closet Panera to my home, the sad thing is it is also the worst one I have ever been to. Not once have I had good service here. I have had missing items and wrong orders multiple times from the drive through. Today was the worst experience yet though. I ordered one bowl of soup then waited 25 minutes to get to the window, and there was only one car in the drive through ahead of me. When we got to the window no one even acknowledged us, then after waiting another 20 min again without even being looked at all for a bowl of soup we just left without the soup. My sick daughter really wanted Panera soup, so I ended up driving to the next closest Panera in Mokena where the service was so much better. read more

I walked in to get salad and soup today and had such a great experience. Mike was my cashier and he was so helpful. I needed a lite or sugar free dressing and he went out of his way to explain the different dressings they had. He also put some of the items in the salad I chose on the side, such as the fruit in case it was too much sugar. He also suggested to put the salad dressing on the side as well in case it was too sweet. He explained the panera points card and singed me up. I really like this panera. I have gone through the the drive through twice before and they are really fast if you are in a hurry. I love being able to get fresh yummy food on lunch. Panera is such a great alternative to the fast food in the area. read more

Came here around lunch time (12:30p) on a Friday. I have never in my life been disrespected like that. The girls who took my order were so unbelievably rude and laughed through my entire order. I asked for a large green tea like I normally get and then corrected myself by saying actually that's a large iced green tea. Not only did the girl continue to laugh, but when I receive my ICED green tea it was warm with maybe 4 melted ice cubes in it. I will not be going back to this location. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. Waited a totally of 45 minutes for literally a soup & a half sandwich with a bread bowl. Then when my fiancé walked up they were just like "oh, guess we didn't make it." Didn't even offer to comp our meals. They said it'll be another couple minutes , 15 minutes later, food finally comes. That was a little annoying but they did try and accommodate us by offering an alternative for the greens in the salad. The service was a tad slow but they were extremely nice. If I could give this location zero stars I would. I get there at 8pm after my 14 hour shift to pick up a late dinner for me and my husband. I'm the only person in the drive thru and I see NO ONE inside. I ordered 2 you pick 2s (half sandwiches and soups) and 2 cookies. TWENTY minutes later of sitting in the drive thru I get my order. What the hell were they doing? Making the soup from scratch???? No they were talking and messing around. I get home and see 2 very poorly thrown together sandwiches and no cookies. very disappointed with my panera trip tonight :( started by ordering the green goddess salad, they were out of the dressing that typically comes with it, which i understand. i asked to get ceaser instead and they said yes but when i got my salad the dressing that came with it was pesto sauce. the salad also had no egg, and only one super small piece of avocado. i also tried to order the modern caprese sandwich, and the employee told me that they have not carried that sandwich for a "long time" when it clearly still had it on the menu in front of me and on the app available to order still right now. read more

I can not express how amazing Mike and Molly on your staff made my experience but I will try. Context: I have a two year old and I am in the middle of moving so just writing this is a testament to how impressed I was. I went in with my crazy 2 years and 2 months daughter. She was rambunctious beyond her normal level. Right away Mike made us feel welcome. I was having a tough time getting her settled in for dinner. Mike offer to help me with our meal back to the table. He even came back to see if we wanted waters. He came back again with Molly and they offered my daughter a cookie. They are huge so I stole most of it. Since I live close, I was ecstatic when this Panera was built, and I go there regularly (several times a week) I added the mobile app and almost always use the Rapid Pick-up Order option (at this location and downtown Chicago). There were some initial growing pains, but with only one exception, I and my family have consistently received great food and timely service. Drive through is painfully slow. Salad sizes are inconsistent and ingredients are inconsistent. If they are out of an ingredient, they should tell you at the time of ordering vs just giving you the order without the expected ingredients. The chicken was partially still frozen in the salad. Pretty pathetic for a $10 plus dollar salad. Both the service and food deserve nothing higher than a 1 star and that is being generous. read more

Probably one of the worst Panera breads around the tinley park/ Orland area. I have had nothing but consistent problems with the drive thru. Who knew it was so hard to check the bag before handing it over. Not only that but when I'm paying $7 for a sandwich and $5 for a little cup of soup I shouldn't have to check and make sure that the sides I ordered with it are in the bag yet here I am once again running inside Panera breads establishment to get the sides I ordered that weren't even placed in the bag. I have given this location several chances and have always been disappointed. Today I went there at 830 am and they were out of everything bagels!! You sell bread??? When I asked the "associate" she informed me..."we out". That's it not, "hey it has been busy sorry" nope just "We out". I mean the attitude was unreal. This location is really hit or miss. The drive thru is usually very slow even considering it is a fast casual place that takes a bit longer anyway. The person at the window is either average or rude. One time I was compensated for the extra long wait (around 8pm) with a larger drink, though. They need to work on politeness and speed. read more
