Checked out yet another Tinley Park brewery. Flipside is a bit easier to get to compared to others around it. It has a pretty great variety on tap. Also there's other forms of alcohol. There's also food like smash burgers which is cool looking. Basic looking strip mall with this in the middle of it. It's got a bar area which is where we had a sit. There's also a few tables. A kitchen is in the back. They send food through a window. Beers are the main thing to get of course. It's about $7 a pint. Best we tried was the Bounced Czech. This is a Czech style Pilsner. It's about $5 to get appetizers. We got the Brussels Sprouts. About the healthiest thing you can get. There's a few offerings at lunch including a kids menu. For sure it's rare for a brewery. We got overcharged for a simple drink. The charge was an extra $10 for premium vodka. I can see $2 not 10. You already have to put vodka in it anyway. We also asked for grilled onions but the server said we only have raw. If you have onions, what's so hard to put them on the grill. Then we got charged 50 cents for onions on a hamburger. We stopped in Tuesday for some beers and dinner with the family. Lucky us it was 1/2 prices apps - we ordered some cheese curds and omg delicious and my FIL ordered the wings. He loved them so much he canceled his dinner order and ordered more wings. I guess they were delicious! I shared the chicken tenders and fries and my husband got the double smash burger. Flipside Brewing was really good. I came here with my wife and parents and ordered a couple beers and food and really enjoyed our meal. We started with the wings and the garlic cheese curds. The curds were great and the wings were solid. Their smash burgers were so good too. They provide tons of options to make it just the way you like and I got mine with crispy onions and habanero spicy cheese I'll certainly come back next time I'm in Tinley Park. Flipside Brewing is located in a strip mall off a popular intersection in Tinley Park. This brewery has quite a large beer selection with a couple of collaborations with other local breweries. On top of beer, they offer wine, cocktails, food, cider/mead, and more! It's nice that they accommodate all guests knowing not everyone drinks beer. Their food menu was limited but had a great selection. Our group got a wide variety of beers. I tried the mead selection which had a sweet front note and off putting tail end taste but the blueberry cider was delicious. The beers as whole were all tasty! The only one we did not prefer was the Golden Snozzberry. Note that they do not offer formal flights but one can order beers in a 5 oz pour or full glass. Tip: This brewery is a stop on the Ale Trail Trolley Tinley Park offers on Wednesdays throughout the summer for free! read more

Glad to see a new brewery step in and open up where 350 Brewing used to be. It's a nice spot with ample parking and right off the I-80 Harlem exit. They have a wide selection of beers available, both on tap and to go. All the ones I had I liked (including plenty of IPAs which I'm always happy to see). I even got a 4-pack to-go. They have a full food menu, which definitely seemed to have some good options, but i sadly didn't have time to get any. Bartenders all seemed cool. I was overall impressed by this small Brewery the service was quick and there was several types of Homebrew beer of this independent place. The place looked homie with the few tanks and had a strip mall location. They have a bar and plenty of seating in a few television screens here and there. I'm a huge fan of good beer & good food, they have an abundance of both! I lived in London many years ago and became a fan of a beer known as bitters, they had a really good one. Their selection of IPAs was wonderful, something for almost every pallet. And their food was just as good. A nice selection, but made with excellent ingredients, very flavorful. Beer was really good, food was fair. We had the Flipside Philly and the Nashville Chicken. I liked we could sit anywhere and the food came out quick. Service was very good. The chicken sandwich was really crispy and yummy on the outside but tough and stringy in the center which was off putting. I doubt this is representative of how this sandwich normally os, but this was our experience. They were out of Last Stop IPA but the Monochrome Dream was very good. Had an issue with an employee who was apparently having a bad day and He decided to take it out me, my family and a group of friends. He started to close 2 hours before closing time by putting chairs on top of tables. He gave us every reason to not return. The food is pretty good for a flat top and fryer restaurant, beer is mediocre at best. Service prior to this issue had been very good. All of the women who work there have always busted their asses to get it done as best they could. The ladies there are the best thing about the place. I cannot compliment them enough. But all it takes is that one horrible experience. As it turns out the women there don't care for this deuchebag either. So if the owner prioritizes a transient old friend that diminishes his brand then so be it. You are no better than the company you keep. So if you are okay with being assaulted check out their so so beer when this guy is working. With breweries closing left and right you'd think the owner would care a little more.
