The signage is a little easy to miss, but I walked in to two friendly people eager to serve me lunch. They have a fairly large selection of hot and cold sandwiches, and a slightly more gourmet feel to the items and menu boards. I was torn between the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich and the #1 combination sub, which comes with a variety of meats. I was encouraged to try the #1, so that's what I went with. They were happy to accommodate my modifications to the sandwich (no onions or tomatoes, please). I grabbed chips and a drink from the mini-fridge to complete my meal. The bathroom in the back is a little cramped and hard to find but clean and gets the job done. My sandwich was made fresh for me and brought to my table. I liked the crusty bread; it stood up well to the sandwich. The meats and cheese were sliced thinly and I could taste the different elements. For me, I think I would have preferred some greenery other than the shredded cabbage; the texture just wasn't my favorite. The pepper on top was also a little heavy and aromatic for my preferences. Nothing worth sending it back over, just a few small details. Overall, I appreciate the effort to create a sandwich shop like this one. I would return to try another sandwich in the future.

Hubs ordered the Goodfella Pizza, with a couple of deletions, and loved it. I chose the Elana Ruz sandwich and it was glorious! Not exaggerating, that sandwich was such a delicious combination of flavors. We were able to find seats inside while we waited, and then hubs found a table outside right before our food was ready. The weather was delightful so we enjoyed sitting outside. We loved the overall vibe, although inside was a little loud. Their decor everywhere was so much fun! We also appreciated the drink refills as we headed out. As we left, we saw tons of parking in an adjacent lot, which I've noted for future visits. Mountain Goat Market is now definitely a must-do on our next trip to The Caverns.

In a very large open room, I was reminded of a high school cafeteria. We were able to get a table right away. Order at the counter and seat yourself. We took turns ordering because our table was the last one and we didn't want to lose it. The meal took only a few minutes to prepare and we were eating by 12:55 The Reuben looked amazing as did the pizza. I was a little jealous. Especially since I ordered the fiesta burrito and found it to be mostly ... just.... okay. I was disappointed that the gift / souvenir shop was closed.

Locally-owned, the staff is approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly to me, the food is made with care and love. I always order pizza or calzones, and I've had all of them except veggie (I like meat with my veggies aka a well-rounded diet!). Keep it up the great work!

1 out of 5 -- Extremely Disappointed…read more We used to really enjoy Spinelli's in Tullahoma, TN. The first time we visited about four years ago, it was excellent. Then we came two years ago and it was "okay," and my husband felt it was already going downhill, but I brushed it off as an ordering issue and decided to try it again this evening. Unfortunately, after our most recent visit, I can confidently say something has changed -- and not for the better. We ordered two large pizzas, and both were honestly terrible. I've had better gas-station pizza. The sauce tasted like straight tomato paste with nothing added, no seasoning, no flavor. The amount of oil on the pizza made it almost slimy. Our pepperoni pizza had very few pepperonis and somehow still managed to taste bland. That sealed it for us but then what prompted me to make a post was this... My kids went to the bathroom and found poop on the edge of the toilet. It wasn't very populated so it's not likely that it had happened recently. The back door where the employees enter and exit had shattered glass and looked unsafe. Even the sign handing inside had a dozen bulbs burned out. None of these things on their own would be a huge deal, but together they paint a clear picture: a place that once had promise now feels neglected, run-down, and like the original vision has been abandoned. We won't be returning. This was truly disappointing, especially given how good it was the first visit. I'm stopping by Papa John's on my way home.

Everybody I know loves their Granny's collards best, but I swear that these are truly outstanding. I have been recommended this place by multiple people throughout the years and finally got a chance to give it a try. (Well, I say that but mainly because I go to Gold's Deli everytime I'm in Columbia. So it was time to share the love) They have a pretty large menu of various sandwiches, I wish I had grabbed a picture of them. I asked the cashier if she had to pick one sandwich which one would it be, she gave me a list of about 3 that all sounded amazing. The fourth she suggested was if you're overwhelmed or unsure just get the Italian. I LOVE Italian sandwiches so that is what I ended up with. Everything here is fresh so I waited about 5-10 minutes for my sandwich to get made. I will definitely be trying out some of the more adventurous creations next time but this was so good. This Italian has a freshness to it that I have a hard time describing but their olive oil blend is lovely, the olives, banana peppers and lettuce helped with that fresh taste as well I'm sure. The bread is incredible! It taste house baked, crisp outer crust with a pillowy interior. The house chips were also really good and salted perfectly. The inside is cool, it's a microbrewery and there's subtle like alien themes throughout? Overall can't wait to try it out again, stop by if you're ever down in Columbia!

The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the rosemary scones were wonderful. My mom had the Portobello mushroom and really enjoyed it. The winter vegetables and mashed potatoes were so good we cleaned our plates. The salad was the perfect size, and the Christmas pudding with tea was a lovely ending. The performers were a real family--parents and their children--and their chemistry made the show especially charming. We attended the final night, complete with playful moments and laughter. I'd postponed it on my last visit to Tullahoma so I'd have something to look forward to on my NEXT inevitable visit, so safe to say anticipation had really built! I arrived around 2:45 and came into a moderately busy coffee house. The acoustics are such it's a little hard to hear if groups are visiting inside, so maybe not the best place to work or read quietly. That's fine, I was going to get my stuff to go anyway. The interior is very cute and thoughtfully decorated and even has a selection of Celtic themed gifts. Service was...surly. The barista spoke very softly and slowly in a very apathetic tone and did not seem interested in answering questions or sharing about the products. I got an iced bonfire mocha (I was very quickly and somewhat harshly corrected about the sizes available to order it in). The pastries looked absolutely amazing so I got a coconut cream scone and a hazelnut pastry to go. They did offer to warm the scone for me, which I accepted. My items took an average amount of time to come out to me. I headed out immediately since I wanted to get home and didn't feel that welcome anyway. So.... That bonfire mocha, yall. It's a spicy mocha, with a dusting of cayenne on top. Allegedly. I've had mochas like this before. They're often made spicy with cinnamon and/or cayenne. I've enjoyed the ones I've tried very much (the version of it at Gold Sprint in Huntsville is delicious!) so I was excited for this one. It had me completely convinced I'd somehow made the barista furious without knowing how. I am fairly heat-tolerant and like spicy stuff and it had me absolutely on FIRE. I thought maybe I'd accidentally gotten a sip of cayenne straight from the top, so I tried mixing it up and drinking from another spot with my straw. Nope. I tried multiple times, coughing up a storm the whole time. But the whole thing was crazy spicy. Inedibly (un-drinkably?) spicy. The cayenne went straight to the back of my throat and sat there scalding me for a long time. I was so sad. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is the coconut cream scone. It was supposed to be heated up...I can't say it was much more than a little above room temperature. But I munched on it in my car and thought it was pretty good. A little dry, as many scones tend to be, but the coconut glaze and cream was flavorful and silky. I enjoyed it. I planned on sharing the hazelnut pastry with my husband later. However, I examined it when I got home (mind you, I hadn't opened it since after leaving the restaurant) only to find...a short, slightly curly black hair attached (baked in?) to it. Facepalm. Straight to the trash it went, regrettably. No idea if it was good or not. It looked good, except for the hair. An incredibly disappointing visit. I'm really sad to write this review. Hopefully I just came on a really off day.
