I ordered from the mobile app it was pretty fluid in how you order and pay. I really liked it tells you when your order is ready. They had specific spots for pick up orders which was nice. I got the new Mac n cheese grilled cheese sandwich. It was fine but not out of this world good. I feel like get the Mac n cheese with the baguette as your side and put it on there and you will have pretty much the same thing. The grilled cheese had little Parmesan crisps in it which honestly didn't add anything. I don't know I would recommend it. It was good but a one and done for me. My mom got the Tuna salad sandwich on black pepper focaccia bread. She said it was really really good the only thing that would have made it better would have been if the bread was toasted. She also had the onion soup which she said was fine but nothing too great and it's not the traditional way of making it. Overall it's a meh but if you like tuna go try that tuna salad sandwich. read more

This stop is in the St. Paul Maple Grove within the Twin Cities. I went with the new Cibiatta steak sandwich with chips. The staffer was very quick, precise, and more importantly, was accurate. They will give you a pager vs. the old-fashioned number stands. It wasn't a long wait. The sandwich was okay. I could have used a few more seasoned items to bulk up the bite. Consistently order roughly same thing 3-4 times a week in the early AM. Since around Halloween time the same associate is working and from day 1 she has had an attitude and seems to have an issue with me for some unknown reason - I let it go cuz frankly mornings suck to work, I get it. Today however there was no mistaking that her problem was with me - dismissive grunts, rolling eyes, and shoving food out the drive thru window just seems so over the top unnecessary. Today my food also looked off and my drink was wrong - which is hilarious because she didn't even want to give the drink I ordered it seems. I love Panera but this is just too much extra and it is 100%, whatever the associate's problem is is uncalled for. I will be going to other locations in the area that have better customer service in my experience. read more

1. The general manager probably should not work in management, he doesn't know how their kiosk works or how to properly correct an order for a customer. 2. They eliminated items from their menu and neglected to update their online ordering. 3. Not only can you order items no longer offered, but they charge you for said items and then don't offer you a way for a refund when they tell you "I don't even know how you ordered that, we don't have it". 4. Their salad mix is nothing more than chopped romaine. No spring mix, no hearty greens. Nutrition-less & flavorless. Panera has gotten awfully sloppy lately and really horrible with customer service and products. We will go to Zupas from now on. read more

Ordered dinner online because of a school fundraiser. The prices are pretty high -- nearly $3 for a chocolate chip cookie?! Come on! We ordered two sausage and pepperoni flatbread pizzas. Our son only likes sausage, so it was nice that you're able to decline the pepperoni and add extra sausage right on the app. My husband got the smokehouse sandwich and a warm (rice) bowl. We ordered six bagels, too, but when we got there nearly all we wanted were sold out so be aware that the inventory changes from app to store. I really liked my flatbread pizza. It had a lot of sauce, which I love, and the bread was great. My son didn't care for his dinner, and my husband kind of shrugged and said his was "meh". He later said he wouldn't go back unless it was another fundraiser. Nothing special about it for the price. The bakery items we got were really good. Yes its Panera.. I guess I haven't been here in awhile. Their prices seemed to have jumped, maybe its just me. Ordered two Napa Almond Chicken sandwiches and a bowl of French onion to share. $22.00. Waited 10 extra minutes because their chicken salad wasn't ready,no biggie. At least it was fresh. I thought it would taste more almondy,but the grapes seemed to stand out more. Bread was super fresh. I don't mind paying extra for really good or hearty sandwiches, but this kind of missed the mark for me at least. Service is excellent and fast which is appreciated to get in and out, I'm still a fan. Bagels are great here too. read more

I have had nothing but terrible luck at this location. Went there once for some chicken noodle soup and bread for a sick kid that I got through the drive thru. Got it home to discover the soup consisted of two noodles and a slice of carrot floating In some broth. This after paying $8.00 for just the soup. Another time - again through the drive thru - got two bagels home to find them burnt to a crisp. Completely inedible. Today was the complete kicker and the final straw. Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru line to order an egg sandwich only to be told I could not get breakfast because it ended while I was waiting. For the past couple years I have met a group of friends at this Panera location one morning a week for coffee and conversation. I'm guessing this is a fairly common practice at all coffee locations such as the Panera chain. The other common practice at this specific Panera location is their continued inability to keep the coffee urns filled. There are several urns containing a variety of coffee, and its not uncommon that one or more of the urns will be empty. It has become a joke among our group that one's taste in coffee better be flexible as you never know what coffee is available. At one point this past week, every coffee urn was dry, not a drop of coffee in the house. As I pulled each faucet unsuccessfully, an employee said "Are we out of coffee?" How hard can this be Panera? Is this an understaffing issue? Laziness? Lack of management oversight? I believe your location receives much business from regulars or returning customers. Don't push us regulars to look for another location. read more

Usually a good go to spot for a quick grab (Rapid Pick Up), usually pretty accurate! Quite disappointing this time I ordered baked potato soup and received Squash. If it wasn't available make sure your app is updated. Called the number to this location and it said please call back at non peak times 11 a-1 p and 6-7p. I called 5 mins before and the phone disconnected after trying to talk to a manager. I opted for 540 pm for RPU and they printed the ticket at 5:42p. I didn't have a chance to pull everything out of the bag because I had a toddler with me. Usually if the PB didn't have an item they would circle it and I'd go to the cooks line to ask for a replacement. This was not the case. Probably won't be visiting this location anytime soon. Also was a step up from the Maplewood location but not better than the Roseville location. read more

I eat at Panera bread a lot, not because it is the best sandwich an soup shop, but because it is one of the few large chains that has good quality, healthier lunch options that I can find conveniently located just about anywhere I travel on business. Also, they tend to be clean, have free wifi, and decent table space making it especially convenient for lunch on the road. As for this particular Panera bread, I find the staff friendly and responsive, the place clean, and the food fresh. Service could be a bit faster, but it is not bad. As for the food itself, it is safer to stick with what they do well: soups and sandwiches. I like their bread a lot, their soups are decent, if a bit salty, and the sandwiches quite good. They can't compare to the sandwich and salad shops I loved when living in New York City, but for a chain, they are quite good. I find, however, that when they stray from their tried-and-true menu they often fall flat. Today, for example, I decided to try their cold soba-noodle salad. My expectations were not high and I didn't expect it to match even the cheap cold soba-noodle dish from a 7-11 in Japan or Taiwan. But it was just terrible. Far worse than my very low expectations. The noodles were terribly undercooked. It may have been okay if the noodles had been properly prepared, but my wife, two kids, and I all found it inedible and it all went into the trash. Maybe this was a fluke, but this is the type of mistake you should expect when the preparers are unfamiliar with a dish and never eat it. They may be a bit expensive if you are just ordering for take out. The business model seems more like a coffee shop than a fast-food place. Those ordering a quick bit or for take out are subsidizing those of use who eat in and hang out. I find the portion sizes to be about right. read more

I completely understood because it's a busy time with the virus etc. I ask if they take Apple Pay and the the window lady gets upset and says yes but if my reader doesn't reach the car, then no. So I order and I pull up to the window. The lady doesn't tell me how much I'm being charged again nothing she literally says nothing. I scan my phone Apple Pay works. She literally got mad and snatched the reader and slammed the windows. When my food was ready she said nothing when she handed it to me and slammed the windows shut again. They NEVER make enough soufflés in the morning. Water is seldom freshened and always like warm. I have to microwave my Hot tea every visit. Bagels sell out, but they don't replenish them. So choices are often scant. Every visit Is frustrating, but it's the only Place to get a bagel close. Otherwise I'd NEVER return! I eat lunch at this Panera about twice a week, and the company I work for orders in quite often for catered meeting lunches, and the food has always been great. But the past couple months things have really slipped. I always go through the drive through, and over the past couple months, I've been given a chai latte rather than a reg latte twice, I've been given the wrong kind of sandwich twice, and today I just got back to work and opened my Spicy Thai with Chick salad to find that there is NO chicken on the salad. after i ate here for lunch i felt like it was almost mandatory to head over to Pier 1 or Bed Bath and Beyond. Seriously though, it was way, way, way over priced. Just what it is. Apparently people don't mind though because the place was packed. Sandwich was OK. Meat and cheese on nice bread. "steak" but actually just larger sliced roast beef. I work in the industry and can virtually guarantee the food cost on that sandwich was $1. I got that and a small bowl of chili which , without a drink, came to over $15. seriously. if we're going to get into that price point we better bump up the portions a bit. or something. Very high quality, healthy food choices. I especially like the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich, but have also enjoyed the Greek salad and the tuna salad sandwich. The quality of their bread is outstanding. I like the fact that a choice of an apple is available as an alternative to potato chips. Very good iced tea. This location is often busy and does get rather noisy, and the restaurant could do a better job of keeping the tables clean. However, this is a regular stop for my wife and I due to the food.
