The young woman at the podium, who looked and acted like she couldn't care less, explained Souperman operates out of the restaurant. We asked about the sizing of the soups and she begrudgingly asked if we would like to see the containers. After a few minutes she returned, texting on her phone, and made us wait while she finished her text before showing us the sizes. My friend and I both ordered large soups, she asked for a pumpernickel ciabatta (for $.99 extra) and I asked for the sesame bread sticks (at $3.99 I was hoping for maybe homemade?). After waiting 30 MINUTES, we received our soups. Ciabatta roll was rock hard and my store bought sesame sticks smelled and tasted like they had been stored with wood varnishes. I can't believe I just wasted $11 on a container of decent soup and inedible bread sticks. If we hadn't already paid I would have walked out long before the 30 minutes were over. The "hostess" seemed way more concerned with the health inspector who showed up. Should have taken my cue from that, and the fact that there wasn't a soul in the restaurant. For the sake of your wallet, your stomach and your sanity, avoid this place like the plague.

After waiting over and hour, my order finally arrived. When I opened the soup container, I was delighted to find large chunks of lobster in the soup! Only it wasn't lobster. I don't know what kind of seafood it was, but definitely NOT lobster. I picked out the mysterious seafood, and the soup itself was very good. And the grilled cheese sandwich on ciabatta ... the smallest ciabatta I have ever seen - maybe 4" x 4"! All of the cheese oozed out of the sandwich and there was a ton of underdone, chewy bacon. (If I were to order from there again, I would ask for crispy bacon on the side.) What a mess. So, $20 for soup and a sandwich. Totally not worth it. Oh, and $3 for delivery? Rip off.

Soup decent but overpriced. Bread sticks ($3.99!) were store bought, smelled/tasted like they were stored with cleaning products

He and his friend both enjoyed the food (although he made sure to mention that it wasn't nearly as good as Katz's, which I completely agree with). He thought that the restaurant itself was clean and nice enough. But then the fun part happened. He tried to tip 20% on his lunch bill, asking the waiter to round to the total from the $50 check to $60 total The waiter decided that meant adding a $60 TIP to the order and running the credit card at $110 for their lunch. Simple mistake, maybe. We apparently will never know, because Liebman's has never called back after two different attempts to speak with management to rectify the situation. We were told that there was no manager there twice, but assured that we would receive a call back shortly. Nothing, apparently. Is Liebman's an establishment that targets the elderly and figures that they can get away with it because sometimes people don't look at what they're signing. Who knows? Not me, because no-one from Liebman's decided that it was important to return multiple calls to figure that out. So, IF you go to this place, please check your bill and then check it again, because once you leave the restaurant, they seem to have no desire to explain why they charged you a 120% tip (or even attempt to keep you as a customer) Bonus fact: I waited three weeks to post this to give them every chance to do the right thing and have a manager reply.

Well, Soup Maison and Latin Kitchen makes soup an everyday food! There's always the favorite tomato bisque or tomato tortellini soup but with a rotating menu of different soups and other dishes plus a deli and empanadas, you really can't go wrong and it can be different every time you go. My new favorite is the tomato tortellini soup paired with one of their empanadas. I'm a fan of their beef empanada but their buffalo chicken empanada was a great balance of a savory chicken with just the right amount of heat. Try it with the green sauce, it's not for everyone's taste but it's a great mix. The fact that they have many soup options (with samples, if you wish) you can pair it with something or just go for a large and have it all to yourself makes it a place to mix and match on every visit. It's a comfy place, but there's not that much room to dine in, but there's a small table- but I don't mind running back home, get comfy and enjoy the food. Service has always been friendly- don't hesitate to ask for a taste, but let them do it- it's not self serve.
