I came here once before and got chicken noodle soup and my husband got a spicy Cajun soup. We both really enjoyed them and the staff were nice when we picked up. This last time I ordered takeout and the food was really good and a good portion for lunch. I got the combo where I got the sweet potato grain bowl with the chicken Marsala soup cup. I really enjoyed the sweet potato grain bowl. The chicken Marsala soup was good but a little too creamy for me to order again. Will definitely order from here again! The manhattan clam chowder and cream of chicken were both excellent! Two quarts to go and they were still piping hot even after a 30 min drive. Recently Tracee Lee Ross did an interview with Oprah expressing how enjoying soup is Self Care. NYSE has confirmed that. I love that this shop is close to work and home for me and I can stop in for lunch for real wholesome self care. The menu is extensive with options for everyone. Staff is friendly and efficient. I ordered the vegan Sorrento Spinach Lentil. I feasted my eyes on the shrimp bisque, but I cannot have the devil's dairy. Unfortunately they were out of bread during my first visit, which means I didn't need it anyway. Gotta watch carbs for a fit summer body. There's some seating near the window which was the perfect way to spend lunch break towards the early part of the spring season. I can enjoy my soup before the hot temperatures come knocking. $7 was a bit of a dip in the pocket for a pint of soup, however it sure beats paying $7 for burgers and other junk nearby. Last week I was in the throes of COVID as was my husband. I was out of my own chicken soup and so, I ordered 2 quarts of soup online and also purchased 3 orders from the TGTG app. Every soup was delicious and made us both feel better. Thank you for an easy purchase, quick pickup, and truly delicious soup. We received gumbo, arroz con pollo, Mediterranean chicken with rice, and New England clam chowder. I can't wait to come back when I feel better and try more varieties. You have a lovely business and your products are appreciated more than you could possibly know. They have a salad bar that kind of works like chipotle's assembly line, where you can pick your base, toppings etc. I loved this since I am vegetarian and custom salads are my usual go to. The spot also has some decent wrap options as well as decent grain bowls. The star of the place however are the soups. They are piping hot and delicious. perfect for a quick lunch. I ordered the Escarole & Bean Soup. It came with some wonderful bread. I loved the seasoning and the fresh vegetables in the soup. I defiantly would recommend this place for your lunch time needs. Ken, the owner, has created one of the best soup and sandwich spots I have ever been to. I have never had anything from here that wasn't amazing. Since discovering The NY Soup Exchange I have consistently ate here at least once a week. My absolute favorites are the turkey avocado wrap and the seafood gumbo. They have rotating soups each day and a special wrap that changes every week. Some of my other favorites are the chipotle chicken wrap and the Louisiana red bean soup. We had been looking for a new place to get lunch at work and found NY Soup Exchange through a groupon deal. They've been around for a long time but sadly I never knew about this wonderful spot making the most delicious and fresh soups and stews. They have a few burger options, some wings, a variety of salads, wraps and of course soup. All of their food is made daily using good quality fresh ingredients. I recently got their Arroz con pollo soup and tuna wrap combo ($8). The soup like all things here was freshly made and deeeeeelicious! Nice spice and lots of chicken. The tuna wrap, again freshly made, was nice and light. Crisp veggies and the right amount of mayo. I'm glad we found this place, it's gives us another option for lunch.
