I ordered a 6 inch Strawberry Cheesecake for pickup. It was very small. I measured the box and the box itself is 6 inches which means the cheesecake is not. I paid almsot $36 for a 6 inch box. I reached out to Cheesecake Factory and they completely dissmissed me. They are saying the cheesecake is 6 inches when that is the box that is 6 inches. DO NOT order cheesecake from them. read more

I got the oreo shake which is always so fantastic. Perfectly satisfies the oreo and milkshake craving. My mom started with brussel sprouts so I stole some naturally. They were VERY crispy. Like too crispy lol. I was only getting a char flavor, not my favorite taste. I wish it was balanced by some sort of glaze or sweetened sauce. The spicy rigatoni vodka was actually pretty good! I'd still prefer it not spicy but the sauce was good. I went here with two friends on a Friday night. We made reservations in advance so we wouldn't have to wait. We decided to share everything. We opted for the Korean fried cauliflower, grilled fish tacos, and the spicy ginger beef tenderloin. The cauliflower was my favorite; it was incredibly flavorful and crispy, and the dipping sauce was very good. The fish tacos were okay-- nothing groundbreaking but not bad. They also came with rice and beans. The beef tenderloin was flavorful but I wish there had been more beef and vegetables, as it felt like most of the dish was sauce. We were quite full after dinner, but we couldn't skip dessert. We shared a slice of the white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake. It was my friend's birthday and they decorated the plate very nicely! There was no big singing entourage, which we didn't mind. I am new to the neighborhood and there are PLENTY of bars to go to !! Most of them are independent with a great cocktail program - however!! I have made my home, go-to bar, the Cheesecake Factory simply because of Megan. I've been in the liquor industry for 20+ years and have been afforded to go to Michelin Star and incredible bar programs restaurants on the regular. I choose to come to CF to see Megan because she allows me to be myself and greets me with EXCEPTIONAL hospitality every-time. She is kind, knowledgeable, and gives the same care to every single person at her bar. This type of hospitality is SO rare to come by and I could not be more thankful to have found her. I will be coming back to the CF to have my weekly martinis for the foreseeable future. Thank you Megan for helping me find my 'home away from home' at nothing else, but a chain resturaunt. Came into the Cheesecake Factory after my appointment at DMV updating my ID over to Real ID. The restaurant was not crowded which was a plus, the atmosphere was very laid back, relaxed. Seated right away in a great section with a nice view. Roni was our server had him several times, he's always very nice. We were a party of two. We ordered appetizers. Our food came out fresh, hot, and was perfect. This is definitely one of the nicest Cheesecake Factory's I have ever visited in the NY/NJ area. It's been years since I've actually sat down to eat at a Cheesecake Factory. In a lot of ways, not much has changed. They still have a massive menu, but I'm impressed with the variety of cuisine types and flavors. Albeit highly americanized, lots of global dishes are represented, particularly as appetizers, and I appreciate the effort they've put into evolving the menu. Everything is very calorie heavy, but they also make an attempt to offer slightly healthier choices through their Skinnylicious menu. We came on a Saturday around 6:45pm. There was a half hour wait for a table. Sometimes it was hard to hear them call out the names for the tables, and they don't have a ton of seating for waiting patrons, but it wasn't too bad. They provided their signature basket of white and whole wheat bread almost as soon as we sat down. The bread was piping hot and very tasty. To start, we had the spinach and cheese dip. It came with a crazy amount of tortilla chips. The dip was a bit watery and needed more flavor. My husband would've preferred more salt and I thought it needed a richer cheese. We also got the fried mac and cheese, which was awesome. An order came with four large fried balls which were super crispy and stuffed with a sharp mac and cheese. For my main, I had the pasta da vinci with no chicken. It was a large portion size, but the flavor of the sauce wasn't quite as bold as I remember. My husband got the shrimp scampi and enjoyed it. We asked for our dessert in to-go containers as we were quite stuffed. The red velvet and peach perfect cheesecakes were pretty good. Honestly, their cheesecake itself is not the best, but they do a good job with the toppings and flavors. To drink, I had the passion mint fizz and loved the citrusy taste. Service was great. I said I was done with the Cheesecake Factory on two other occasions, before my most recent visit this past Saturday. I can now say I am officially DONE. After being sat for almost 20 minutes, and not a single person stopping by to greet our table, I stopped a server who was nearby to ask if she knew who our server was supposed to be. She plainly replied "Me" to which I stated "oh, ok because no one has come by." She was clearly very busy but when she then proceeded to go to the bigger group of people that had been sat AFTER us, that's when I became upset and decided we needed to speak to a manager. I walked up front and located a manger to whom I explained we had been sitting for 20 minutes, hadn't been greeted and bare minimum didn't even have water or bread at the table. I also let him know that at this point we would need a new server because we didn't feel that we got off to a good start with the one we were to have. To all this, do you know how he replied? He said "well, we don't bring water to the table unless you order it." Um, sir? SOMEONE HAS TO COME BY SO WE CAN EVEN ORDER SAID WATER. With that dismissive response, I knew it would truly be my last time dining here. I just told this man multiple steps of service that were missed on their end and we don't get any sort of apology or acknowledgment? You're telling me this is how you do service? HEARD. We sat for about another 10 minutes before we got another server and in that time I watched that same manager dropping food at other tables. THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE PRIORITY. Why are you dropping food for tables that have orders in, instead of taking our drink order? Hell, we were ready to order our entire meal at that point. As a manager you could have taken our order and entered it into the POS yourself to help expedite. It's crazy that as a customer I have to get on an app to explain to a manger how to do their job. The server that we got after was great and we tipped him 20%, as I was not going to take out my frustrations on him. However, I will say it for the 3rd time in this post, I will NEVER be back to this white plains Cheesecake Factory. It was nice knowing you. read more

He showed his documentation to the waiter but he gave him a hard time. By the end of the conversation my grandpa was crying. The staff knows my family very well but this server was new. He said "stop faking a medical condition just so that you can the pasta for less money." then a different server drops everything she's doing and cones over to comfort my grandpa. He slowly calmed down and the original waiter is laughing hysterically. The woman proceeds to drag him into the kitchen. I heard a lot of screaming. I've been eating here since it opened and always have been happy with everything. Last night I went to dinner with my friends, not during a busy time. The seats had crumbs on them and the table felt a little sticky but do able. My friend and I ordered the from the diet menu. Always just enough. Last night the dinner was served COLD. LITERALLY COLD. The tomatoes were as if they just came out of a refrigerator. I sent ( my friends as well) mine back and it was served with less food, sauce was absent, the meat looked dried out. The server was very nice but did a very nice vanishing act. I don't eat the cheesecake there so no dessert. Too much gelatin in it. My family and I went here two Sundays ago and the food has definitely gone down. My granddaughter ordered the four cheese pasta with grilled chicken and the chicken was dry and didn't have flavor. Avoid this location! Our family stopped in for a quick lunch after dropping our son off at school. Two people in our party ordered burgers. One immediately stopped eating after a couple of bites and didn't finish. On the way out after paying the check both of them rushed to the bathroom and became violently ill and threw up. One even heard someone else in the next stall also vomiting. We informed the manager of our experience and they said no one else reported anything and they'd look into it. I just came back from the Cheesecake Factory in White Plains, NY with a nasty stomach ache. I ordered the turkey w/avocado and it came with a salad. The salad was nothing but lettuce! No tomatoes, no onions, no cucumbers. Just lettuce and about 85% iceberg lettuce which has about zero nutrient. Now for the turkey/avacado burger. It was on a roll about 1 inch bigger than a slider's roll. About 4 inch roll. I thought I was getting ground turkey. NO, what was on the slider, I mean roll was 1 slice of turkey breast with avacado and 2 pieces of bacon. The bacon stuck out of the slider, I mean roll, it made the 2 strips of bacon look like it was the main part of the meal. As I was eating it, I told my son that I don't even taste the turkey. I opened the bun and saw 1 slice of deli turkey breast. Why the hell do they call that a turkey burger? For $20, I could have ate better at Burger King or McDonalds. Savanna, our server, saved this place from a two or three star review! She was the best part of the night, attentive, accommodating and just lovely! What's happened to this place?!?! It became quite pricey, but not only have their prices increased, but the portions shrunk greatly! If I am going to be paying more, I expect the meal quality/quantity to at least remain the same. A perfect example of "shrinkflation". The Skinnilicious Lemon Garlic Shrimp with Asparagus and Angel hair was just sad! Two half stalks of asparagus?!?! And extremely thin! It should not even be included on the ingredients list for this plate because it's no more than the herbs and spices. The shrimp have become close to microscopic. This used to be a wonderful dish with hearty shrimp on a bed of asparagus. Would not order that again, and not sure if I'd return at all. I remain grossly disappointed! The flavor and taste, however, was good, and consistent with how it tasted in the past. The fried calamari was delicious, but again, the portion is smaller than it had used to be. Worst of all is the difference in size of the slice of cake! Linda's chocolate cake (a favorite) was huge! Now it's "just a slice", no different than what you would get anywhere. Long over due review! Last time I came here was with a group of nurses friends for nurse's appreciation week and we had a blast. The staff was very accommodating. First our group wanted to be outside but it was loud and windy so requested inside by the window and staff was more than friendly and accommodating. Honestly I've never had a bad experience here. The food is very good and big portions perfect for left overs and the prices are decent. There's plenty of parking and if you go to the dessert counter they redeem your parking ticket. The only reason I gave this a 2 Star Rating is because the food never disappoints. Allow me to explain my experience. Again, I'd like to start with the fact that my rating is not based on the food. It was 1pm in the afternoon on a Very Rainy Day. It so happens that a family of, I'd like to say, 10, were seated about 15 minutes after we were. The waitress, without even acknowledging us, went to that table first and started taking their orders. We were obviously annoyed at the situation and immediately informed her that we would like a different Server. We notified the manager about what took place and he seemed a bit oblivious to the situation which unfolded. Well, to make a long story short, after about a half hour of waiting, we finally were provided with a different Waiter who provided what should always be "Excellent Service"! I believe that cheesecake factory has to do a better job in "Training" their Service Staff in Proper Restaurant Decorum which is simply "You Service He People Seated FIRST regardless of party size. That is, if you want to maintain your "Loyal Clientele" Restaurants, as far as I'm concerned, are a dime a dozen. Cheesecake Factory, as good as the food is, IS NOT, the only Game on the Block! All I'm Asking Is That You Train Your Service Staff in Proper Restaurant Decorum! She said, "no this is the main dining room" which is the second lie she told me, as my server confirmed what i already knew, it's the lounge. The first lie she told, was there were no booths open, so i got up and confirmed, there were several booths open, in a black male servers section and in Mister Ponytails section. But i digress. Daniel on the other hand was great, took amazing care of us and made sure we wanted for nothing, thus the $50 tip i gave him on our $120 check. As for the food, i know these are corporate chains, but it seems the specs for each plate up North are different than the South, as every plate was bland. Shrimp Alfredo- pasta was more than likely cooked with no salt. the alfredo was rehydrated with water towards the end of the night, as it was bland and grainy. The grilled chicken was cooked to temp, juicy, yet unseasoned. Factory Chopped Salad- dressing, dressing and dressing. Tons of great ingredients, but all i could taste was dressing. Shrimp Scampi- bland pasta, bland shrimp, nothing to make you want to order it again. Once i came to Yelp and saw the 3.0 rating, it all made sense, and three is being generous. I did not complain to the managers that hung out behind the bar, because i am not from here, so i wont be back and i don't want anything free. When overnighting in White Plains this is usually the go but I'm always hesitant because of the horrible food I've received in the past. My crew wanted to go get food and drinks and so i said I would at least have a drink. Walking in we were greeted by the host very pleasant and we were seated right away. Our waitress name was Cathrine. She kinda gave off the vibe of being irritated but actually she ended up being cool as a fan! She was attentive and was very good at her job. Even after our appetizers were delivered by her she never took away the extra place settings. I had to take them and put them on an empty table. It was not a busy night at all. I had to grab her to get a soda refill and she never asked at any point would anyone like another drink. She never checked back to see if everything was ok. She absolutely ignored our table. We asked her for containers and finally she asked if we wanted any dessert . This was terrible service. I remember the days when you had to wait an hour or more for a seat. I like the Cheesecake Factory as much as the next guy. It's menu offers some good options and the cheesecake is on point. That being said the amount of WASTEFUL PLASTIC that they use in their take out is by far the worst I've ever seen. I get the need to use a little plastic from time to time in take out but the sheer carelessness for the environment and wastfulness is pretty disturbing. Opt for a better option if you can.
