I ordered two whole sandwiches here, spent around $20 and then took them to go. The Avacado was brown. Bread was soggy. Now, I feel my innards turning on themselves. I am not in a position to break wind but if I was alone I'd probably be leave a nice brown streak in my pants. Never again! read more

Normally have terrific experiences at Panera, but I would skip this location and drive the extra 10-15 minutes to go to Avon. Three people working at dinner time on the weekend resulted in poor food quality and a wait time of 25 minutes for two small salads, Mac and cheese, and a sandwich. read more

Customer service is very mediocre. This has happened twice now, where I've called to ask if they have a particular soup i like, that they only have on certain days, and both times the lady i talked to said they have it. When i got there, they rung it up for me, only to tell me later that they didnt have it available that day, so i got my money back and had to go somewhere else. I dont know how hard it is to check or if the employee both times just did not care enough to look, but because of that i definitely recommend a different Panera or different place to eat altogether. read more

The food wasn't prepared correctly and wasn't warm. The portions were smaller than I remember as well. Despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty, they took a good 15 minutes to make my latte. OMG. What a terrible experience. No one waiting for food. Placed order for 2 pick twos. Turkey Bravo and Broccoli Soup. Sticker shock. $19.00+. For a half sandwich and not much soup? And water?? Then went to find a table. Filthy. Had to clean myself. Watched one staffer standing at drink machine. Filling her cup. Drinking. Filling again. Three times. Mother and child waiting next to her f or their turn. She didn't care. Had a buzzer. After 20 minutes went up to empty counter of chatty staffers. Inquired about my order. Got a sarcastic It's right there! Never buzzed us. Went back to filthy table and floor and saw it was a tuna fish sandwich. Returned again. Waited for correct one. Back to table. Turkey Bravo missing bacon and tomato. And soup COLD! They acted like they did me a favor by slapping the missing things back on. Couldn't even find a place to dump this mess. Bins full. Trash full. Paid 7.49 for a Greek salad. Got a sprinkle of feta cheese, two cherry tomatoes, 2 pepperoncinis, the rest was a bowl of lettuce. They used to be known for good salads, buy apparently not anymore. What a rip off. read more

I went up to the Westlake location tonight to order a large mac and cheese. When I walked in there was an older couple in front of me ordering. When they were finished I placed my order with the girl at 6:13. As I was finishing up my order the older couple came back and told the girl that all the coffee canisters were empty. I walked down to the pick up counter. I waited for 10 minutes (no online orders or anyone behind me.) when I got my bag there was mac and cheese sauce all over it. I shrugged it off and went to my car. I checked my order when I got in because the bag felt a little lite (i know because the only thing that I order from there is the mac and cheese.) I couldn't even open the lid because there was sauce all of the bowl. I opened it and the bowl was only 1/3 of the way filled - it's usually to the top of the bowl. I decided to walk back in to check to make sure it was right. In addition they gave me a fork instead of a spoon. I walk back in and the same girl that placed my order was still at the counter. I told her that I did not think that my order was correct. I pulled out the bowl and she said it was the right size, but when I opened it up she said that it wasn't right. She then told me that she would make me a new one. Well 2 minutes later they gave me a "new" one. I got back to my car and checked it - and it looked to be correct - filled to the top. Well when I got home and opened the lid - the top layer was disgusting - it looked chunky, burnt and old. I decided to put in another bowl. The top layer came off in a huge chunk. The bottom layer was perfectly fine - creamy color and right consistency. When they made my new order they just put another layer on top of my original order. I went to lick the spoon and the top layer sauce tasted awful. I decided to take it back. I walked in and talked to the girl that I placed my first order with. She went to go get the manager. I told the manager that it tasted awful and that the top layer was not right. She proceed to get me my refund but told me that she watched the girl making the original order. She said that she placed two bags of mac and cheese into the bowl. I got my refund and the manger asked if I wanted a new order. I told her no. If you can't make the first and second order right, why would I have you make me a third one. I decided to go to the Panera in North Olmsted. I wanted to make sure that my refund got back onto my gift card. I walked in - same thing - a couple in front of me. I ordered and within 5 minutes had my mac and cheese ( which the weight of the bag felt right.) I checked it to make sure and the bowl was filled to the top and there was a spoon to go with it. As I was walking out I told the staff behind the counter thank you for being better than the Westlake location. I told them about what happened and they proceeded to tell me that the Westlake location is awful. I am not disappointed in Panera as a whole, just the Westlake location. read more

I picked up a Rapid Order and when I got home the cup of soup was half full. I called and asked to speak to a manager. She said I should check the order before I leave. I said I think it is her responsibility to make sure the orders are properly prepared and I now know why they have bad reviews on Yelp. She hung up on me. I just didn't want it to happen again; I know I will not be back I have had significant business catering orders with other stores and they have been extremely polite and accommodating. This manager needs extensive training. read more

This Panera is hit or miss. I usually end up getting ignored by the younger employees that work there. I even had one once tell me, "I was supposed to be gone 15 minutes ago." I just looked at her and said, "So are you taking my order or not?" Another time I tried to pay with a gift card and the girl told me, "Our credit cards aren't working." And I said, "Ok well this is a gift card." And she said, "But we are having problems with our credit cards." And I said, "Ok well I have a gift card and my debit card." And she asked for my debit card and used it without a problem. They never ask for your My Panera card. But then again I once had a lady give a balloon to the little girl I nanny. And there are some people there who are super nice and make really good coffee. So like I said hit or miss. read more

Love this place! The old frozen mangos with the raspberry drizzle and whipped cream are awesome. I like the chicken noodle soup and the fuji apple chicken salad. The citrus vinaigrette salad dressing is really good too. Their tuna sandwiches are good and the m&m cookies rock. I liked their old chicken noodle soup better than the new recipe but I'm coming around. It's unusual for me to have so many good things to say. Oh well, if I like it I like it. read more

My husband and I came in today and saw that there was a new boy CJ working the register. I was a little scared when I saw that he seemed to be rushing around a little more then the two girls I was used too. Every time we have been there the cashiers are mean! We have gone to this location for six years every Sunday. The service has made it so we now have to make the choice to drive a little further to the Avon location where the people actually have service with a smile instead of giving nasty glares every time including the manager!! And my lunch was a simple salad - greens, chicken, and some dressing. Many patrons were also waiting a long time for their orders, and many were complaining about wrong meals. This Panera restaurant angers me everytime I walk in. First, there is about a total of four people working and four people just standing there even when its busy. I am torn. This is the second time in two weeks I received great food but couldn't get what I wanted. On a cool night in September I wanted clam chowder, they didn't have any although the menu says it's available on Fridays. The broccoli cheddar was very good but I wanted clam chowder and I wanted either of them in a bread bowl which once again they didn't have bread bowls. For my sandwich I chose the asiago steak. No asiago rolls available. Is there a cash flow problem here that they do not have the staples of this chain available? As I said, I'm torn because what i received was very good but I still felt cheated that it wasn't what It is advertised as and they felt throwing in the house tasteless potato chips was enough to make up for the shortcomings.
