There were plenty of other things to be totally stressed out about - not having to worry about my cat boys was a huge relief. Each day Lisa sent me photos and updates of how the fur kids were doing. I was so grateful to see and hear that everyone was adjusting to our new house and doing fine while I was finishing up the move. I can hardly wait to start exploring the Southeast and will have no trouble leaving my pets with Lisa. She is a great pet sitter and a wonderful human being as well.

The service cost $70 before tip, and when we got our dog home it was obvious that his face and the top of his head had barely been touched, if at all. The area around his bum also needed additional trimming, so we ended up getting out our own clippers and scissors to finish the job ourselves. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect the areas most owners immediately notice to be addressed during a grooming appointment. For the price charged, I shouldn't have to complete the haircut after getting home. The staff was pleasant and the convenience is hard to beat, but based on the results, I had a difficult time justifying the cost. If you're paying for a full grooming service, it's reasonable to expect the face, head, and sanitary areas to be properly finished before your dog leaves the shop.

Dog owners, do not trust this groomer!…read more My husband dropped off our corgi to be groomed at Cindy's. It was supposed to be a simple routine service that we've always done with other groomers. A bath, a light trim on his paws and the back of his legs, and a nail trim. As most groomers and dog owners know, double coated dogs should not be shaved. Apparently Cindy did not know this. My first red flag was when she asked if we wanted his whiskers trimmed. What kind of groomer would do that to a dog? Anyway we decided to still give her chance, the location was convenient for us. My husband brought our corgi home and to my surprise, he was completely shaved. His entire body. And it wasn't even a good cut, you can clearly see the blade marks! Cindy explained that her clippers broke as she was shaving his bum area and cut out a huge chunk of fur from his leg. Instead of calling and explaining, she thought it would be smart to even it all out and shave his entire body. His coat will grow back after a few months but it likely will never look the same again. She caused permanent damage on his coat and there's nothing I can do about it. Do not trust this woman with your dogs grooming services, especially if you have a double coated dog or any special breed.

We are new customers with a 2.5 yr old female Great Dane. We've tried multiple groomers and 2 veterinarians. She's not aggressive...she just turns into a giant bucking bronco as soon as the clippers come out...even though we've never actually been able to actually clip her nails! It's like other dogs told her what they were at the dog park or something. Anyhoo, the wonderful groomers (ALL of them, it sounds like!) were able to WWE her onto the floor and successfully completed a full trim of all of her nails. I have been bringing my babies to Klondike's for well over 3 years. Desiree the owner, is an incredible animal loving people person and I adore her. I had the pleasure of meeting Desi through a referral. My neighbor used Klondike's for her pitty mix and after a personal series of unfortunate events, I required boarding for my 2 dogs every weekend for several months. I have a Great Pyrenees and a Poodle mix and they have been absolutely spoiled by Desiree. My boys have loved coming to the kennel every single visit since. They know they are coming about 10 minutes away and you can tell they are stoked, My pyrenees has even jumped out my car window because I was taking to long to open the car door, all to get to Desiree quicker! The Kennel is on personal private property and Desiree lives a short walk away, which makes me confident my babies will be well taken care of. Desiree also handles all of my grooming needs. My boys had a photo shoot coming up and Desiree was able to squeeze them in for their regular doggy doo's. My boy's get so many compliemnts on how good they look. Desiree makes sure my Great Pyrenees stays free of mats and tangles in his abundence of fur. Thank you for your wonderful services Desi, you are truly one of a kind.

They didn't pick up the first time but I received a call back in less than a hour, which really surprised me. While trying to find the facility for drop off I was a little lost as you can't see the place from the road only a white sign. The drive up the dirty road was a little surprising to me as they don't have many pictures. I knew I had no other options on sure short notice. Walking in, the smell was alarming and the cats roaming around didn't give me the best feeling. They employees where nice and pleasant during check in. I was told over the phone that boarding was $18/a day and his bath would be $15. During pick up I was told the price was $90 which I'm not sure how they came up with those numbers if I dropped off Friday and picked up Monday (2 full days, 2 half days - $18/day and 1 bath $15) either way I didn't question it as I planned on tipping for the service. I didn't like that he was still wet when I picked him up and in the car he slept the entire time which is so not normal for a Shiba. However, They seem to be family owned which is great and I always try to suppose local businesses! I would use them again if I need boarding.
