    Chicken Charbroiled Chicken Shish Kabob
    Paul K.

Had a good time trying Panini's UTC location sort of at the front of the parking garage for the mall. They have both indoor and heated outdoor seating which makes for a comfortable environment. There was no wait for a table even on a fairly busy Saturday evening at the mall, and the service was exceptional. The chicken kabob is the real winner here, tender, juicy, charbroiled to perfection. The steak was only ok, the appetizers the same. The rice served with the kabob was a little dry and if there were an area for improvement it would be there most Persian restaurants I've been to have been much better. Overall I would definitely return for the chicken kabob, probably electing for a side salad rather than the rice!

I love a good chicken Kabob and was excited to try Panini Kabob, located on the first floor of the UTC parking structure off Genese. I ordered a chicken kabob takeout and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the portion for under $18. The interior design was nicely done. Wood accents and tasteful artwork adorned the interior. The worker who assisted me with my takeout order was friendly and efficient. I'm looking forward to coming back and dining in person for the full experience. I'd get another chicken kabob and try the flat iron steak kabob.

Stopped by Panini grill at UTC for a quick bite after a bit of shopping. This location has a ton more space compared to their Del Mar location but for some reason never seems as busy. The food however is top notch. I ordered a cup of their lentil soup and chicken kabob plate that came with a side of Greek salad and Basmati rice. The soup was super delicious, just a hit of lemon in it and thick and rich, full of flavor. The kabob plate was also exceptional. Unlike some Mediterranean restaurants where the kabob comes out dry, the meat here was chunky, soft and full of moisture and flavor. The side salad was equally good, though I wish it had slightly less balsamic dressing on it. Overall a great spot for a bite to eat, the portions are always generous.

This restaurant is hidden in the parking garage but make sure to follow the signs! We were seated right away and I love how simple the menu is but they have so many options. I ordered the beef koobideh kabob plate and it comes with rice and a side salad. It's the perfect amount of food for a great price!

We stopped by on a Saturday, plenty of seats and food got served quickly. We ordered appetizer platter and kabobs. Everything is great except rice is somewhat dry or undercook (top layer). Service is great.

Panini Kabob Grill is a restaurant in University Town Center serving scratch-made, big-portion middle-eastern, Mediterranean cuisine. AMBIANCE Refined with stone and wood elements, high-ceilings, plentiful glazing letting in lots of natural light. SERVICE Staff are helpful, friendly. Service can be slow though with big groups such as the party of eight I'm typically with. FOOD 5/5 Flat Iron Steak Shish Kabob: Cedar River Farms tender charbroiled flatiron steak skewered with grilled vegetables. 5/5 Bulgar pilaf: fluffy, savory tomato flavor 4.5/5 Greek salad: fresh ingredients, very tart olives, sprinkled with feta 4/5 Chicken Shish kabob: Wayne Farms charbroiled chicken tenders skewered with assorted vegetables. 4/5 Lamb Barg Kabob Grass fed charbroiled filet of lamb tender served with grilled vegetables.

I ordered grub hub from Panini kabob. I ordered the strawberry walnut salad with chicken. The chicken was wonderfully flavored and extremely tender. Perfectly done! The balsamic dressing was phenomenal and the salad was fresh and delicious. The cheese was potent and tasty. It is a well balanced delicious salad. I'd highly recommend it!

Located at the UTC mall, Panini Kabob Grill recently opened and mailed out some 50% coupons to residents nearby. We took the opportunity to order a lot of different things to see what would be our favorite. Appetizer Combo Platter: It's a sampler of all of their appetizers so it includes the pita bread, hummus trio, falafels, caprese, and tzatziki. If you want more pita bread, you'll have to order extra and there really isn't enough to go with all of the dips. The hummus and falafel were good and since it only comes with three falafels, I'd recommend only sharing with 3 people. Flat Iron Steak Shish Kabob: Comes with two sides and I went with the rice and salad. The grill flavor was there and made it taste better but the meat was a little dry and tough. Not something I expected considering this was a bit more expensive than the beef koobideh kababs. I thought the ground beef had more flavor and juicier. Rigatoni Rosa: The best dish we had that night. Not only was the pasta sauce creamy, but it was also very flavorful. It's a shame that there isn't any protein included but if you're willing to add like shrimp, I bet that would elevate the dish. Chicken Pesto Linguine: Pretty disappointed because of the flavorless pesto sauce and the dry chicken. Spicy Prawn Linguine: Also not that much flavor and I don't get why it's labeled as spicy. It's not spicy. But it comes with 4 large prawns that were cooked well. Steak Panini: Not sure what happened but the order was forgotten. We got this at the very end of the meal and were pretty much full already. The combination of everything sounds really good and it has a lot of potential but there was just no flavor at all. The bread itself also didn't have that crispy crunch from being grilled or toasted. So yeah, overall, not very satisfied with the meal. But I'm glad we had this opportunity to try a lot of different things for 50% off. I would be even more disappointed if I had to pay full price for this experience.

So far I have to say Panini kabob Grill has been pretty solid on their wraps. I've had their chicken, beef and salmon wrap. The salmon wrap is my favorite so far. If you get the Cesar salad, add the cesar dressing to the salmon wrap and a little spicy hummus and thank me later. Salmon is cooked to perfection and nice fresh vegetables inside. I ordered from Uber eats and they package everything nice and neat as well as seal the bag. They're a good healthy option if that's what you're looking for.

DELICIOUS food, stellar service, and a warm ambiance. We started off with the trio of hummus, tzatziki, and falafel with a side of 1/2 cucumber/pita. Perfect way to try all 3 and all delicious! Would order again. Also ordered the beef kabob and chicken kabob - both were some of the best I've never had! Julio was our server and was so delightful. If we lived closer we would come everyday!

It felt very fancy and was one of the most exotic things I have eaten in a long time. We also got the dolmas (grapes leaves) and the Bolani (turnover stuffed with leek and potatoes) as an appetizer. Lastly, for drinks we got a Cherry Blossom Tea (Sheer Chai). Again, it tasted like nothing I have ever ordered before, which is hard to do because we are adventurous eaters. It tasted like cream straight from the cow mixed with a cherry blossom-y and strawberry-ish Chai flavor+ black tea flavor. One of the best drinks that I have experienced in 2025 by far. For the La Jolla neighborhood and how fancy the inside feels, the prices were similar to any regular sit down restaurant. Quite the bargain for the bouquet of flavors and beautifully executed dishes that we had. I would definitely recommend them.

At first glance, we knew we were in for a true authentic and great meal when we saw other Persians dining at the restaurant ;D Vibes: Namino shares a parking lot with other food establishments but on a Tuesday afternoon, we didn't have trouble finding a spot. The restaurant gives a mom and pop vibe, where they warmly welcomed us in. I loved that the lady gave us a bell to ring when we're ready to order. There were more than a handful of 4 person tables available inside. No outdoor seats. The guy who took our order and served our food was welcoming and our food came out within 10 minutes. Food: -Beef Koobideh Kabob ($15.95): skewer of suuuper flavorful beef served on a bed of saffron rice with a side salad and half a roasted tomato. The stew itself was not shy at all about flavor; an appreciable sweetness and tart flavor coming from pomegranate, an earthy blend of spices (for sure can taste bag and cinnamon as well as toasted walnuts. I'm sure there's more) and the chicken is clearly well seasoned. The stew itself is not to thin or thick, resembling a texture slightly thicker than a Japanese style curry. The specials are served with a side salad and saffron rice. The salad is dressed with a yogurt based dressing. Light and refreshing. Nothing surprising. The saffron rice is lightly seasoned with saffron, mostly white rice. The big kicker here is tableside condiments include sumac, and that is a huge bonus. Pour a liberal amount in your rice and thank me later. Gotta love a Persian restaurant with sumac! Food 9/10. The tea served is a spiced black I believe.
