Hair in my food

Quite honestly do not know what the good reviews are about. I'd give this place a 1.5/5. Cheap and dry kebabs, cheating us on the amount of rice (we ordered extra chicken and they skimped out on the rice rather than just placing it in a different container), the pita was tough and soggy... and the falafel was dense. The only good thing here was the hummus. Waste of $70. As I was writing the review, I noticed blonde hair in my food. So disgusting. Never again.

I ordered a hummus bowl with ribeye steak shawarma, classic hummus and added chicken kabobs, and asked for tahini and garlic aioli on the side. The meats were nicely marinated though a little dry. Good thing I asked for the sauces on the side since the hummus made everything pretty salty and soggy once mixed in. Also wished there were more veggies and rice included. I also assumed pita bread would've been included since the online picture showed it. Decent food but we had issues ordering DoorDash delivery for a work lunch. The DoorDash driver only brought 1 bag of food with more than half of our food missing so a team member had to go in person to figure out the problem. Turns out another driver took our second bag so Micheline's remade the lost orders. They must've been so busy since they should've verified with the first DoorDash driver which orders were whose and some of our orders had missing or different ingredients. I might try them again but would order in person.

035/2026/FEB Found this location on Yelp and was worth trying another Mediterranean cuisine place after our long drive !! Place has limited seating ! Noticed a lot of pick up orders !! Ordered the combo plate with Protein choices of half chicken shawarma and ribeye steak shawarma on top of basmati rice with sides of Babagannoush and toasted fresh veggies in herbs and spices!! Enjoyed the steak which was so tender and flavorful!

Found myself caught in the lunch rush! I was in the area and in need for a quick lunch meal so i went to MPH. Parking is a bit of a hassle during the lunch hour, but I was able to snag a spot after driving around. Parking validation is available at a small machine inside by the registration, The line was long, a mix of students and people on their lunch break, but it moved quickly. I ordered the plate with steak shawarma, red cabbage, baba ghanoush, and corn. With the line extending to the door, inside seating was pretty cramped (but possible) so I opted to sit outside. First impressions, MPH gives a lot of meat and I'm not complaining. The steak was tender and flavorful - I really enjoyed it! While the baba ghanoush was just alright, the red cabbage was deliciously pickled and was the perfect acid to my meal. Overall, I'd definitely return to try what other meats/sides they offer, just maybe not during a busy lunch hour.

This place was within walking distance to the from our hotel and my kids requested Mediterranean food like they usually do. Reviews are good and I didn't have to drive to get there. It's a win win! It's a small place. Menu has many options and prices are fair. My kids and I always order and share a platter and Greek fries when we get Mediterranean food and it more than enough. That is what we did here. We got the chicken shawarma platter. The sides we chose were the rice, hummus, and fries. The sauces we chose was tzatziki and garlic aioli. And we ordered Greek Fries. Everything was so delicious! There wasn't anything we ate that we thought could be better. The pita was so thick and fluffy. The sauces were all so good. The fries were some of the best I have had. Chicken, rice and hummus all so good. Greek fries were amazing! This fed us and we still threw a little away because we were so full. The food and two drinks cost $32 which seems fair to me. We ate delicious food, were more than full, and had some leftover. The only negative feedback I have is the guy that helped us. Man, he had an attitude. Definitely needs some training and coaching on customer service. He came off very sassy and not friendly.

First time here as we were at the hotel for a conference. The food is rather good and you get a large portion for what you pay. We will definitely come back during our next visit to San Diego. The service e is quick as they make your food as you order it and the layout is spacious for sitting and eating if you'd like.

So many types of Hummus and Tahini The host was friendly and explained the various options. Hummus Bowl with Chicken Shawarma and Garlic Aioli was delicious. The place had a coffee shop vibe and is located conveniently in strip mall beside Marriot La Jolla.

Food- We ordered the rice bowl with the selection of our own toppings. Both bowls costed about $14.50 each. Portion size was huge, and well worth the quality. Chipotle style ordering, and self serve drinks. Better than CAVA for-sure. I love the authenticity of the food made in the kitchen, and the booming of flavors. Please continue supporting small businesses like this one. Service- We came at a busy hour on a Friday night. The lady in the front welcomed us right when we walked in. I'm sure this place needs more people as they received plenty of online orders during our dinner. They stay hustling, and I really appreciate the work ethic here! Don't forget to validate your parking ticket here too. Ambiance- Limited seating inside, but if you're lucky you might find chairs outside. Overall, thank you for the experience!!!

Oh my gosh. This place is so good, I highly recommend checking this place out…read more I had the Moussaka (Lebanese eggplant stew) and I throughly enjoyed it. It was so flavorful and the portions were pretty big. I also got to try the cheese fatayer, I loved the pastry it came it, it was great. This place has great vegetarian and vegan options along with some gluten free options. The menu is marked very well and they make it easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and the food came out fairly quick. The restaurant is on the smaller side. There was seating available for large and smaller parties. From the dinning area, they had a window into the kitchen so it was fun to be able to see the cooks make the food. They also had cute decor that added to the ambiance of the restaurant. There is plenty of parking available in the plaza that it is in.

The food was actually really good, but the service was terrible…read more The staff seemed condescending and like they didn't want to be there at all. Not attentive, not friendly, just kind of dismissive the whole time. We ordered a bunch of dishes and to be fair, everything we tried tasted great and was flavorful so you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The cheese knefe was a bit disappointing though. It's supposed to be crispy, but it came out mushy and kind of fell apart. The rose water reduction also made it way too sweet for my taste. Still decent overall, just not what I expected. But honestly, the service alone ruined the experience for me. I wouldn't come back. Food: 8.5/10 Service: 0/10

Overview: long waits but worth it, Mediterranean chipotle, affordable…read more ---- There can be long waits but it moves relatively fast. Chipotle style set-up where you customize the proteins, dips, toppings, and sauces to your own tastes. My go-to order is: SuperGreens, Saffron Basmati Rice, Harissa, Tzatziki, Crazy Feta, Grilled Chicken, Fire Roasted Corn, Pickled Onions, Tomato + Onion, Fiery Broccoli, Tomato + Cucumber, Salt-Brined Pickles, Crumbled Feta, Persian Cucumber, Kalamata Olives, Skhug, Balsamic Date Vinaigrette, Free Side Pita There's different options of a bowl or pita that are customizable or you can also choose pre-set creations that are chef-curated. ---- The ambiance isn't anything special, but there's a lot of seating available inside and plenty of parking that's shared with other places in the plaza. It can get busy even late at night, we arrived at 9:30ish and there were around 10 people in line ahead of us. Despite the wait, the quality and variety of food, as well as its affordability is worth it. ---- Overall: if you want a nice, affordable Mediterranean meal with many customizable components check this place out; a great bang for your buck especially with the restaurant prices in San Diego

I've recently become obsessed with CAVA, easily the most popular Mediterranean healthy fast-casual…read morespot in San Diego. It's famous for build-your-own bowls and wraps--everything is fresh, light, low in fat, perfect for fat loss, light meals or a quick bite. I'm usually pretty lazy, so sometimes I just go with their pre-set combinations, mostly salmon or beef options. Their house pairings are already incredibly flavorful. If you want to customize your own order: start with a base (rice / quinoa / salad), add your protein (salmon / beef / lamb / chicken), then pick dips, toppings and dressings. Over 30 ingredients for you to mix and match freely! It's a must-go if you're watching your figure--low fat, low sugar, barely any deep-fried food. All sauces are homemade too. Highly recommend hummus, tzatziki and harissa. Prices are very reasonable: $15-$22, cheaper than salad spots of the same quality, and with bigger portions. Here are some of their most popular combinations: * Harissa Avocado Bowl (Most Popular) Honey harissa spicy chicken + avocado + feta cheese + roasted corn + saffron rice + spicy vinaigrette. Savory, spicy and creamy with amazing layers of flavor. * Chicken + Rice Bowl (Classic Go-To) Grilled chicken + brown rice + hummus + tzatziki + pickled onions + Greek vinaigrette. Light, filling and never boring. * Spicy Greens Bowl (Top Vegetarian Pick) Falafel + spicy broccoli + roasted red pepper hummus + feta cheese. Full of flavor even for plant-based eaters. * Pita Wrap Pick meat or vegetarian filling, plus sauces and veggies. The pita is soft and chewy with generous fillings -- portable and absolutely delicious .

As a student here at UCSD, I come to price center for food when I don't have anything to eat at…read morehome and don't have time to go out grocery shop. Because of this, when I'm in price center buying food I'm looking for something quick, relatively cheap, and tastier than what I can microwave. While this may have brought me to Santorini, the taste and the staff are what keep me coming back (shoutout Chris for making us customers feel seen!).

*Unsanitary Food Handling Practices*…read more I was very concerned by the food handling practices I observed during my visit. The employee serving food used the same pair of gloves to handle food, touch other surfaces, and perform cleaning tasks without changing gloves. At one point, she used her gloved hands to wipe up a spill with a rag and then immediately returned to handling food from the hot trays and plating customer orders. This creates a serious risk of cross-contamination. I asked the employee at the register, "Do you not use tongs to handle the food and change gloves after touching other items?" The response was simply, "No." This is not only unsanitary, but it could also pose a danger to customers with food allergies or sensitivities. I strongly encourage management to review proper food safety procedures, including the use of utensils when appropriate and changing gloves whenever employees switch tasks. Unfortunately, the experience left me uncomfortable enough that I ended up throwing my food away. I hope these concerns are addressed to ensure a safer dining experience for future customers.
