This is combination of gas station, full service car wash, and Latin cafe. There's always a line for the wash, and it's because they do a really nice job. The people working there are all very nice and pretty thorough. I appreciated that a worker came out while I was waiting in the line and asked me if I'd like to place an order. Today's delicious lunch was at Panna. It's in the gas station/car wash on the East side of Weston Road just South of Royal Palm. Walking in, The aroma is really nice. The kitchen is fully visible and as spotless as the dining area. They were very well staffed and extremely friendly. I was greeted by a very nice young lady named Marcela who advised on the menu for me as it was my first time there. I ordered empanadas Colombian style (they also serve Argentine) and picanha lunch with arepas, patacones (tostones for some) & platanos maduros fritos with a side of queso blanco. Picanha is made to order and everything else was really tasty. Coincidentally......While I was enjoying my Colombian empanadas... This is one of the busiest 24/7 Latin cafes in Weston. Its boasts a very interesting marketing concept. In addition to the cafe, they provide a drive through car wash and a full gas station. As customers wait for their car being washed maybe twelve minutes they grab a sandwich, danish or coffee. Now, something I oddly noticed is that people park their vehicle at the gas pump, fuel up, then enter the Panna for their food and coffee but leave their car at the pump, so sometimes the pump stations are slim pickings. They do have several empty parking spaces across from the Panna or behind the Carolina Ale House lot. Not going to Panna in Weston Town Center ever again! Rude and can't even get the order correct. Ordered 4 items from the kiosk, selected print order number (no printout came) and then listened for the order. An old woman with long black hair confronted us about how we placed the order and we said the kiosk. She asked us what was in our order was, we told her the order number but the machine didn't give a receipt. Then she went to the desk, and asked us another question which we coudn't hear and before we could say anything she barked "Yes or No?". That is the way you talk to customers LOL. Honestly this is some of the best finger food that my company I work for gets us every so often as a nice little pick-me-up. Whenever the food is delivered it is always hot and fresh and the array and assortment that they have in the platter is always amazing and gone within minutes because of how good it is. The main thing that I always go for on the spread are the tequinos, the cheese is always melted perfectly and the dough on the outside is always crisp and golden and fried to perfection. The cheese stretches the perfect amount and the flavors of the whole thing blend together well. My second favorite thing are the fried empanadas with the casing always being a perfect golden brown and the shredded beef on the inside seasoned magnificently. I will for sure stop here in person one day and try many of their other items they have to offer because if everything is as good as the empanadas and Little Finger sandwiches are, there's nothing I feel will taste bad at this location! read more
