Great daily lunch options and good service! Familiar ambiance. I haven't got brunch but the place is always full of customers.

The good thing first- the line goes through fairly quickly considering how busy they were the day I was there, Sunday July 19, 2026, and parking was plentiful. Service was fine, cleanliness was good. The bad. Way overpriced for this region. There are plenty of bakeries in Puerto Rico offering the same things at half the price. The worst. The food quality sucked. Jugo de China Natural usually means squeezed to order. It was squeezed ahead of time and served with ice without being asked. Fresh squeezed orange juice is best served room temp. A good one will still be a little foamy on the top with very low acidity Ham and Cheese on Mayorca Bread- a staple of PR breakfast. Traditionally served pressed with a little powdered sugar on top that caramelizes a little because of the pressing. This one had a ton of floury tasting powdered sugar on the top and bottom of the top and inside the top and bottom of the bread, not normal at all. And for whatever reason, mine was served with the insides of the bread out side but I saw others that weren't served that way. So strange. And the ham was oddly pale. Also, no knives or forks to be found, so the extra sugar was extra confusing Quesitos- I ordered 4 to take out. I should not have. They went straight to the trash. The dough was severely under baked and soggy yet the filling was dry and crumbly without barely any sugar on top to offset the cream cheese. Arroz con Dulce- overly sweet and watery. Also went straight to the trash. Should be a little thicker from the starch of the rice combining with the sweet milk as it cooks. It tasted like they cooked the rice separately and then added cinnamon, evaporated milk and a ton of sugar without heating it. Not even a hint of vanilla to be found. For $44 dollars before tip. It was straight disrespectful to tourists and locals alike. I hope they improve because there is nothing worst than a popular spot resting on the laurels of a good location PS- The Habichuelas Escabeche were good.

This last trip, I tried the chicken pate - WOW, the best pate I have tried on the island. I regret not trying it earlier. It was a different take on the traditional pate, it had flaky buttery crust and curry chicken inside Parking is free and their prices are also more economical than other bakeries. In addition, their customer service is amazing...all friendly people! And Christian!! I love seeing businesses who stand for the kingdom of God. Delicious food, friendly service, free parking and good prices - hard to find all of that in 1 place in St.Croix. May God bless and prosper this business in Jesus name! I will be back soon, and you should go too!

One doesn't visit Thomas Bakery for the atmosphere: one goes to purchase baked goods!! On that score, the products on display looked tasty. The guava tartlet I had was nice: good sticky filling in a well-made crust. The raisin bun, however, didn't offer much flavor. I suspect it would benefit from being split open and toasted / grilled with butter. And while I've come to expect uneven customer service here on St Croix, the person who interacted with me seems so stern, so serious. BTW, the prices were great! Very affordable. I will consider going back for more tartlets and to try a few other goodies. It all about the product.
