Kim found this as a place to try for a nice breakfast. It was about a 15-20 minute drive from our place in the Carolina area, but we think it was worth it. Parking is difficult - but we lucked out and got the last spot in the front. We were greeted and seated quickly and although the place is small we got the worst view, but the service was still fantastic. It was super clean and super busy. The tables were never open very long and we lucked out to get one without waiting, even on a Monday morning! We definitely experienced our worst language barriers while here and relied heavily on pictures. I thought I could speak enough spanish to get breakfast and coffee, but I froze on stage... The only real disappointment we had was the pictures online show some really fancy coffee and we did not get that. What we did get was very good coffee and very delicious and super fresh breakfasts. We would recommend this as a place to go if you want to come away from the beach and the tourist traps there. We would definitely recommend and would come back. Plan to have parking issues, but don't give up. This is a neat place and a fun find! read more

They got some parking up front, but beware, they do fill up quickly. This place is lovely, the food and coffee is great. Tried their ice coffee, recommend the whipped cream. I didn't feel woowed or like i must come back .I was surprised they didn't have avacado to go with the eggs . the wait was not bad at all and the waiters were very patient and nice . Special, special places can exist in the most un-special of locations. I went to Cafe Negro with my mom, who talked it up and is a big fan. Parking is very limited and if you go on a weekday morning it can be tricky to find a spot in the area, but if you persist, you will be rewarded. The place doesn't look like much on the outside - a small cafe on a somewhat out of the way commercial area - but on the inside it's a small oasis of caffeinated goodness and good food at very reasonable prices. Their coffee drinks are all really good so order whatever you want with confidence. I tried the waffles and they were delicious. If I recall, my mom had something with eggs and toast and she really liked it, too. At one point, the owner came by to apologize because they had apparently overcharged my mom for the toast and he reimbursed her, cash in hand. He then continued making rounds, remembering regulars' faces. I can't recommend Cafe Negro enough, and I hope they put up a website soon to put their name out there more often. It's really a special place that I'd love to see succeed. read more

This is a gym in Puerto Rico! We did not have to wait too long and they are not strict with the mask and vaccine stuff. The coffee was amazing they came out hot and tasty with lovely designs from the cream. I had the pumpkin crunch French toast with eggs. I am not a Karen but the service was so bad that I had to make my first yelp review lol. Came in on a Sunday morning, was informed wait time would be 30 minutes and provided them my number to notify me when my seat was ready while i wait in the car. After about 40 minutes (and never receiving a call from them) decided to go inside to check my place in line. Was told 3 people were ahead of me and it would be another 15 minute wait. There were people after me that signed up in line that were seated already. Decided to wait inside and after about 5 minutes was told my table was ready. Placed our order and waited an hour for French toast and a sandwich. Not once did the waitress come to ask if we needed anything while we waited for our food. We noticed people that were seated after us had received their food which prompted us to flag her down after about 45 minutes of waiting to ask how much longer for our food to come out. The place is small but cozy; when we arrived before we got in they asked us for vaccination cards and to take our temperature which show their part worrying about their costumers in this global pandemic. The place was clean, chic contemporaneous. The waitress was super sweet and easy to talk and to give explanations on the menu. The food was amazing omg! What a wonderful little place! I got there just before the big crowd and I can see why they get those kinds of crowds. I had a nice cup of coffer and the tortilla. It was very easy to order and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The food was very good and the coffee was fantastic. I especially liked the atmosphere of the place.
