The space was spacious for the event and parking plentiful right there between the grass patches that we were using. People can also park along the street and I noticed there's allot of people coming and going so allot of opportunities for distraction to practice with your dog. The grass fields are very well maintained and mostly soft lush grass although there were a couple foxtails scattered on the ground.

My little guy LOVES playgrounds and is the kind of toddler who wants to do everything, especially since he's a pretty low-sleep-needs kid . He had a great time here, especially on the blue slide. He was still talking about that slide afterward, and I think he was so exhausted from playing that he actually slept really well that night! One thing I appreciated is that, at least on the weekend afternoon we went, there weren't a bunch of birthday parties taking over the space. It was also open later than some of the other indoor playgrounds we've tried, which is a big plus if you have a toddler who tends to keep late hours. That said, it did get very crowded, and I think the layout could be better. The play area is fairly narrow and not as open as some other indoor playgrounds we've visited, so it can be difficult for parents to sit back and still have a clear view of everything their kids are doing. There's also a mix of activities that seem geared toward slightly older kids, including video games, which weren't really my thing. The biggest issue for me was some of the older kids running around and going up the slides the wrong way, particularly the purple slide. With toddlers, that can be a little stressful because they're smaller and you can't always anticipate what's coming down the slide. I understand that parents are ultimately responsible for supervising their kids and there's a waiver, but I do think staff could be a little more proactive about discouraging behavior that could create a safety issue for the younger children. Food options for adults were also pretty limited, and the seating arrangement made it harder to comfortably hang out while keeping an eye on the kids. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. It's a fine option for a playdate, especially if you're looking for somewhere that's open later and available on weekends. My toddler definitely had fun, and apparently the blue slide was a major hit. I just wouldn't say it's the best indoor playground we've been to.

My daughter was very disappointed as we had gotten ready and drove down here just to be turned away. She didnt want to go inside by herself either. Would suggest the facility to update their policies online to prevent other patrons being turned away as well. There were also parents in the deck area sitting in chairs they brought from home who were wearing normal clothes. Staff said they were there for kids with swim lessons. However if they are going to enforce a rule, it needs to be across the board.

But as for the park itself, it's one of the best you are going to do in North Hollywood this said of Burbank Blvd. Outside, they have a nice playground area for children, so it's good for families, and their is a nice big, open soccer field. There is also an outdoor basketball court that is fairly well taken care of. The tennis courts are pretty healthy as well, and there are two of them. On the inside, there is a basketball gym. The upkeep of the gym is definitely nice, and there is a stage as well. As for activities, they've got a pretty good list of them. They have soccer tournaments, they have basketball leagues for most age brackets, they have open bboy dancing on the stage on sundays, and they have a community workout that happens I believe on thursday nights around 7ish pm. So at those times, the tennis courts are jam packed with neighborhood moms and whatnot doing their workout routine thing. Of note, this neighborhood is primarily mexican, and as such, there are very few english speakers hanging out. The employees all are bilingual, and a lot of the neighborhood kids from my apartment go here, and most of them are bilingual. I am as well, but I only speak English and Japanese, so when Im playing basketball, tennis, or soccer with the other locals here, it's a bust as far as me knowing what the heck anyone is talking about lol. I know that my team usually just tries to give me the ball lolol. Anyway, overall, I am very happy that I have a nice place to come and shoot hoops and play tennis and soccer, and it's right next to a Starbucks, Target, and a few chicken and burger joints, so it's easy to eat or drink something right before or after as well. On this particular day the parks and recreation worker was there setting up perimeter. We didnt know the exact address so when we added it i wrote CORNER OF FULTON AND VANOWEN. You really cant miss it. Its small and cozy. You can see your child from any bench. The down side is no restroom but when u think of it all other parks i went to had the grossest restrooms ever. From needles to transients to wierdos just sitting there stairing. So with that said Great use of space Parks and Recreation!
