I got a fill in and design and TK did not disappoint! I showed him a picture of a design and he took it and made it his own and they are beautiful!! Not only did he do the design I requested but he was also helping explain the terms of each thing I requested "fill in" stiletto shape" "cat eye" etc. He was kind and helpful in explaining what all he was doing and why. The atmosphere is veey friendly and professional. I highly recommend going to Pansy Nails Shop, and asking for TK, definitely will be coming back to work with him again :) My friend did have to wait a while for her fill ins, but we were really happy that they had squeezed us in last minute. read more

Calluses removal seemed more like a foot rub than an exploitation. Came in with an injured toe and requested no drill to be used since there wasn't a lot of product on my toe to begin with. They didn't like that. Tried to argue "We're the nail technicians we know what we're doing" when I requested the second technician not to use the drill in a high setting due to my sensitive toe. Overall the process was rushed and unprofessional. If you didn't have time for the appointment why would you take it? You guys should know better so DO better than actually saying that you do. Let's aim for a higher standard next time I was unimpressed. read more

UPDATE: I called to ask to get my nails fixed today I was told that (by the manager) because I didn't come in three days after I got my nails done then I'll be charged for the entire fix, and I also would get no refund at all. The lady was so sarcastic and gave me to complete run around of nonsense. (At some point she tried to pull up on my file or whatever? From a YEAR ago?) and asked if I was "not happy" then which...the job then was mediocre at best. This was me giving them another try after I got vaccinated and Covid stuff had settled down a bit.) I'm not a Karen. I was direct and straightforward with her... But this is a horrible customer service. She told me that I should've called back the day after and I told her I had work, people have jobs and I shouldn't have had to call back if the job was done properly. Having a "3 day policy" is such a warning sign too because obviously so many people have been coming in with bad nail jobs. My nail should not of been chipping in peeling after less than a week of getting them done, and now that the paint his pill back even more I can see they didn't even use a primer. Honestly just dreadful. Stay away from this place at all costs. Boy, I wish I could've avoided this experience. I was recommended to the salon by several people on a Facebook group I'm. I guess they had better experiences than me, but looking through the reviews it seems like my experiences aren't uncommon. First off, the pricing. I don't mind paying a good amount of money for a nice set of acrylic nails. But when you were charging me for shipping them, when you were changing the price in the middle of the appointment after telling me a previous price... That is not OK. Second, the experience itself was very difficult. Since I didn't wanna pay the extra price for shaping (Because I've never experienced that fee at a salon) she left my nails so sharp and jagged that I cut myself on the back of the neck when I went to scratch an itch. My friend who is this and help me to file them down but even then the edges were so bumpy and unpleasant. And last but not least, the chipping in the paint peeling off. I have been getting my nails done for over five years now and this is some of the cheapest paint I've ever seen. I attach pictures, and keep in mind this isn't even a week in. Not even two days after getting my nails done, the paint began to chip on several of the tips. Now normally I'm used to a little bit of paint chipping after a week or so since I'm on the computer a lot doing work. But I've been on vacation and I've only been using my hands for regular every day things, so not only did they deteriorate faster than normal they deteriorated with barely any excessive contact. It was about four? Five days and that I noticed the paint on my thumb was peeling up. Shocked, I gave it a little tug and half the paint just peeled off in a neat little slip, leaving my acrylic bare. Like I said, cheapest paint I've ever seen. The other thumb followed not soon after. The edges were not sealed at all. Not only is this frustrating after the amount of money I paid, I now have to go back and get them redone and try and get a refund which I don't have high hopes for after looking at the other reviews. I'll edit my review depending on how things turn out. It's really annoying because not only did I feel like they started to rush the work after I declined additional fees, but something tells me that no matter what I would've gotten a bad set of nails. Like I said, frustrating, especially since I have a friend visiting for the week and I now have to take time to go back and get this all figured out when we could be doing other stuff. So to sum it up: The paint cheap and not sealed, the shaping was horrible and they didn't file my nails at all, and I felt like their customer service solely depended on how much you paid. I paid 55$ for a gel pedicure for my vacation, once I got to my destination, within 2 days of getting this gel pedicure, 3 toenails peeled off. The next day another 2 came off. This was my first time at this place and I will never go back. It's only been one week and I only have 5 toenails total that still have paint on them. I've gotten plenty of gel pedicures and they are supposed to last way longer than that. Very upset. Not worth the money at all. read more

There's a nail tech by the name Jenny, who is excellent. The others are basic, so they can't deliver beyond that. I had an appointment and still had to wait over 25 minutes. Then when the Manger couldn't get what I wanted right, she had the audacity to say I had to take her mistakes or she would just take it off and I had to pay because they had other customers coming. The one tech I wanted had to leave, and I was stuck with a Manger that didn't know what she was doing. Never again will I go back there. DO NOT GO HERE! Save yourself! I am a professional woman that truly appreciates quality service, especially for self-care! So much so, I drive 80+ miles to get my nails done by the same person I have been for the past 5+ years. Welp, here we go! I received a call that my regular technician was unable to get me in. I am traveling out of town today, so I was in a bind. I contacted Pansy after checking reviews and requested an appointment for a full set and pedicure. I asked for "ball park" costs because I wanted to pay in cash and tip well. I did not want to be short in funds. Well, when I arrived, it was 30 mins before I was even worked with despite making an appointment. I was escorted back to begin around 2:25p. The technician was nice, sweet and polite. She was attentive. When I asked for acrylic on my toes (which was discussed over the phone), the manager thought she knew best and was insistent on her way. I said no, and carried on. My toes came out okay. Low and behold, I go to get my nails done. This technician was nice and friendly too. She asked for a picture of what I wanted. I was in a call, showed her the picture, and continued on. She comes back and tells me my nails will be $107- a high upcharge from $110 or so for both services. I asked her to explain the breakdown, and she did. We were good. Well, apparently I was being profiled because the manager had a problem that I asked questions, to where she comes back and says (as she clearly sees me on a call), you need to pay now or no service. Huh? I was horrified and mortified as it was condescending, demoralizing and demeaning to be spoken to that way. We ended up going back and forth because what I came to learn is what she quoted me over the phone was now changed by $60, there was no discussion, and she felt that as a paying customer I should not ask. Not here-- I am paying and have all right to ask for clarity. The manager perceived that I would not pay for my service as I inquired about what I was paying for, to where she started arguing with me. It turned into where others had to intercede to stop the madness. Resulting from this, I ended up paying ahead of service for the nails, and the quality of the nails were nowhere near worth $82. For $82, I get what you see attached here from a much better and more professional technician. In the end, as I am a customer, and professional who is well established far beyond this experience, I know I will NEVER go back here! I ended up tipping Jenne (nail tech) and Layla (pedicure tech) well, per person. The pisspoor and blatantly ignorant manager is the SOLE reason they will never see me again. Little did she know I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks, and pedicures bi-weekly-- so it would have been my pleasure to frequent their establishment until that experience. I wish I could give zero stars. I used to love this place and have even referred my friends. I went to have a set of nails put on as a wedding trial. I showed the nail tech my inspiration photos and she confidently said she could do it. TWO HOURS LATER. She put several on super crooked so I asked her to fix them, that seems like an obvious ask, and did the white tip so horribly it looks like my kids did it. The sides are barely filed, wonky and chunky. I had to get out of there after 2 hours so I showed the lady at the door, told her I wasn't happy, but she let me leave anyway. They weren't open the next day so I came back today, the first chance I got, and the refused to take them off and redo it, or give me my money back. They kept saying they look good or they didn't see what I was seeing. It was complete bs. My nails look chewed up and amateur. I tried to give them a chance to make it right and instead they told me the manager already saw my nails and said they were fine- how?!? I had just arrived and had not seen anyone!! So they lied to me and won't help me. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME!! Tried to capture photos. They are all bubbly, the white is so thick, looks like Whiteout, the white is super uneven and doesn't even go all the way around so the tip is showing throw. Just awful. By far one of the kindest and most helpful people ever. I've come in a total of four times to get my eyebrows, eyelashes, and nails done. Each time I have been left satisfied with beautiful results. The service is great and the employees are beyond caring and welcoming. I enjoy my time chatting with the employees every time I visit and build great personal connections. Not only are all the employees insanely hardworking and welcoming, each one is able to provide gorgeous results at the end of any service. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a salon run by people that work both efficiently and effectively. First time here and I will definitely be back! I forgot to get the name of the technician but she did a great job. I got the basic pedicure which took 45 minutes and it was $35 and it was amazing. Long massages and an amazing job with the polish. Technician opened up the tools from the sanitized bag in front of me and they used disposable file and buffer. If I could give this place -10 stars, I would. This was by far the WORST experience I've had at any nail salon in my entire life. I went in today to get my last set of nails before I give birth, and I had the worst experience possible. From the second I walked in, the lady who attended me was rude, argued with my suggestions every step of the way, and ended up scraping the dip color off my nails when she was filing them before applying the clear coat. I asked her to cut my toenails down more, she said she could file them down and acted as if I asking her something out of her job description to do, with an attitude and everything. When I told her 5 out of my 10 nails had no color along the side and tip of my nail, she brought her other coworker come over to tell me my nails were "perfect" and there was nothing they could do. Last time I checked, as the customer, I'm entitled to have a fix or repair if I am unsatisfied with a service I am paying for. This other coworker then proceeded to tell me I had been at that salon before and that she remembered me, which was entirely not true, as this was my first time there. Finally the manager (Vanna) agreed to fix my nails, and I had to wait 15 minutes for her just to file down the color EVEN more off the side of my nail and tell me that she could take the entire thing off and leave me without any color on my nails, or I would have to pay full price with no discount. The least she could have done was give me a $5 discount for my disservice. After I asked to speak to the owner, she told me she couldn't provide me with that information and that I had no right to speak to him. I then asked her for her professional cosmetology license, which by law is something a salon needs to have for each of their employees out for the customers to see, and that's when things got weird. She got super defensive and told me I couldn't ask for that (which is a lie, and a consumer's right to see) and proceeded to call the police on me LOL. She tried to accuse me of disorderly conduct (at 9 months pregnant, that sounds accurate) and that I was refusing to pay (which I had already paid at that point, so I had no idea what she was talking about). Long story short, the police sided with me (obviously) and told me to file a complaint with the department of labor, because obviously something fishy is going on there for her to get so defensive when I asked for her professional cosmetology license to have her full name. Let me save you the trouble of coming here; they are entitled, rude, completely unprofessional, and act as if they are doing you a favor by being there. Van Le is the owner (something that is public record to find, BTW) and I would be ashamed and embarrassed if this was my salon. Hire LICENSED staff who have a shred of professionalism and customer service. read more

I went today as a first time customer to get a fill. My appointment was at 12:00 pm and I was not seated for my appointment until 12:25-12:30 pm. I originally requested to have a fill when I scheduled my appointment, but then I decided to change my mind and ask for ombre nails. The manager Vassa stated that I would not be able to get the ombre because she wouldn't have enough time to complete. I was irritated, but decided to settle on a color I really didn't want. After I sat in her chair, Vassa said she could do an ombre with color instead. Me thinking she knew what she was doing I proceeded to let her. I had light pink acrylic powder on my nails, and she proceeded to add regular clear acrylic powder that didn't even match, or let me rephrase, she didn't even try to match the acrylic to the color that was on my nails for my fill. She asked me to pick out a color and I ended up picking out something similar to what I originally requested, because she said she could do it...She proceeded to paint my nails a pink gel and put glitter on top. By the time my nails were done, it looked like an amateur did them. My cuticles were not 100% cleaned up as well. As I waiting for my nails to dry, I felt like I was being rushed, because Vassa had another client waiting. I proceeded to go and pay, and Vassa stated that my total was $47.00. I said $47.00 for what??? She said that she was charging me for the ombre. I said you didn't do an ombre, all you did was place glitter on top of my pink nails. It sucks because I was so excited to try a new place, that had such great reviews. But I refuse to support bad behavior or someone being a crook and being sneaky. And the crazy thing is she mentioned not having enough time, but my appointment was a 1/2 an hour late and she spent about an hour on my nails...Add that together and that is an hour and a half right there, and you didn't have enough time to do what I originally asked for??? I will NEVER go back to this shop. My advice if you are looking for a new nail salon, KEEP LOOKING!!! read more

Very disappointed with the nail service/product. Firstly, the nails are not coffin shaped, but square. Despite showing Vanna (the store manager), a photo of the coffin style nails I wanted, she did shape the acrylic nails to the coffin-style shape. Additionally, the acrylic nails are not covering my entire natural nail and there is acrylic powder debris remaining on my natural nails that can be seen and felt under and around the acrylic nails - which should have been trimmed or filed off as part of a thorough manicure. My cuticle bed and/or hang nails were not trimmed and after 1-1/2 days of having them done they already look more than a week old. What further irritates me is the cost at $52.00 - - which was overpriced - when I was told it would be $35 over the phone prior to the appointment! For a set of acrylic nails and polish?!???!!!! In the past, I have had other shops do my nails for far less $$ and provided an excellent job at that. I only tried Pansy Nails because of their ratings - but given my experience, I will not recommend them, nor will I go back to them in the future. In all - the quality of the nails is poor and Vanna did NOT provide the style of nails or service that warrants repeat service. Save your money - go elsewhere. :( read more
