Love Panther Lake Dental. Have been coming here since I moved to the area six years ago and I've always received nothing but five star service. I was excited to see that Dr. Chase Deiglmeieror has joined the practice and is following in his father's footsteps. He saw me today and immediately identified some concerns that had been bothering me for quite some time and magically made the problem go away. He is my new favorite person!! This is an update of my review and recent visit, which was a horrible and embarrassing one! I went to see my dentist to try to fix a tooth that need to be repaired. He originally fix the tooth the first time that it needed attention over a year ago. I came to them thinking that they could repair my teeth and not charge me, since the work was done by the dentist before. They refused to work on it without a payment of 1,000 upfront, which I did not fully have at the time. They said my insurance already paid for it and I have to wait a few years for them to cover it again. So, in order for them to repair my tooth, I would have to come out of pocket in order to fix it! They also said they changed their financial policies and I could not make any payments at the time and they wanted the full amount!! In the past I have paid them in a timely manner and they where able to make my dental care affordable! They would accommodate my family and financial situations and up until recently, used to be friendly and welcoming! This is a sad disappointing experience to me because I have lost trust in the medical and dental professionals that my community needs in order to sustain excellent healthcare. We have enough problems with insurance increases, job losses, the homeless crisis, fair wages and affordable housing. This was just another jab at my community and all people who have suffered because of their race, sex, disability, income and the ability to access affordable healthcare! I have paid these people to help my family and there was no respect given or thank you's for referring my sister in law and her family as well. My son who has Autism trusted this place and dentist because he knows his Mom trusted them to care for his dental needs! Now I have to start the process again, which takes time for him to socially to adapt to new environments. Even though they were out of network with my husband's insurance, I still trusted them and believed that they had all of my family members best interest, but not so anymore! So sad so ridiculous! I hope one day that this place would help people of all walks of life and not put dollars in front of making sure people have the best care in the world, care for the community and do not discriminate anyone at all anymore. Be fair, be kind and help those who need your service in a time of need. Please show some humility and kindness when serving the community and to the people who have helped you get to where you are in your field today! read more

If you are looking for a dentist office that is financially disorganized and treats it's patients horribly, then this is the place for you! The new office manager is incredibly rude and the front office staff isn't any better. It seems as though the staff here really enjoy talking down to their patients. Their billing department is a complete nightmare. I ended up over paying because they can't send a correct statement and good luck finding someone intelligent to speak with. I FINALLY received a credit after months and months of trying to get my money back. It's really too bad that they can't find decent people to work here, because the dentist is actually great. There are plenty of other dental offices in the area that know how to appropriately interact with patients and can bill correctly. Do yourself a favor and go there instead. You'll save yourself a ton of time and frustration. read more

To be fair, this is a review of the staff member whom I interacted with over the phone, not the actual dentist. When she called I realized that it was Friday and I had accidentally missed my appointment. "Oh my gosh, I completely forgot, I'm sorry!" I said. No response. I mentioned that I could come in now (I'm only a few minutes away) but she said we would have to reschedule. They were booked out for over a month and a half. "I'm so sorry about that," I said after rescheduling. She completely ignored my apology again and just said "All right, we have you scheduled for Nov. 22nd." I worked in customer service for the postal service for several years, so I know how hard that kind of work can be. I'm sure it's annoying for the dentist when people repeatedly miss appointments. But I was a new patient, so it's not like I was a repeat offender. I was upset at myself about missing the appointment, and this interaction made me feel worse. I thought about it and realized that I'm not obligated to give my business to them. It was easy to find more available and highly-rated dentists near me, so I canceled my appointment with Panther Lake and went with Seablue instead. read more

The staff and dentist seem nice but my concern is the care provided. I went in for severe pain. Likely something under the tooth or some kind of exposed nerve. The exam was wierd. First they use a very cheap blood pressure wristband. It reports a 196 over 71. A few minutes later a 156 over 71. Under either of these pressures you would likely be not feeling very well and probably be headed to tge ER. I go home use my cuff and 118 over 74. Then they xray some teeth and the dentist comes in. He says the x-rays look okay, that nerves as they start to die can cause pain. Tells me he's not going to torture me by examining the tooth and gives me a referral for a root canal. I mention I'm not sleeping from the pain and I wear a mask that places pressure on that side of my face and he understands. Then I'm told to continue to take Tylenol. As I leave the front desk gives me a prescription and says its to relieve pain. Now I'm no doctor but I know two things antibiotics are not pain relievers. And you don't want to take antibiotics unless your fighting an infection. Nothing about an infection was ever mentioned. I checked the place they referred me to and it couldnt get me in for almost two weeks. So I head for home fill the prescription and after taking it i get sick. So my already exploding nerve pain is hammered on some more as I get sick. I sent the office a note that said I wasn't going to take the antibiotics because they me sick and that i would just suffer another day or two and start to work the tooth out myself. I dont recommend this but you can do it yourself if you really need to. It will hurt alot and bleed like crazy but it will come out if you work it. Just need to keep the area clean. And salt water makes a very good disinfectant. Anyhow they offered to yank it and give me more antibiotics . I asked why I would take antibiotics if I dont have an infection. No reply. So the bottom line is if you want to be in serious pain, have your teeth looked at from across the room, recieve a referral and medications you probably don't need this is your place to go. But I work graveyard shift. After work I drive-through 3 school zones with kids all over the place and I would rather not do that on 6 hrs of sleep in 10 days while and siezing up in pain and vomitting​. Probably makes me a bad person i dont know. But quite frankly I dont support bad care anymore. So it will likely be my only visit here. I will follow up with a letter to my insurance about the care I received here. read more

I was told my insurance would cover me getting temp/ bridge done by the lady at the front desk. I had a tooth chip and a bridge was suggested.They extracted teeth and drilled down my teeth ready for the bridge. Then after basically extracting 3 teeth decided to tell me that they made a mistake and that they couldn't complete the procedure they already begun, because insurance did not in fact cover it. All I got was a sorry the receptionist made a mistake. Umm so I now have not just a chipped tooth but a whole gap from unnecessary extractions. I used to smile and had an amazing smile and they took that away with no remorse. I also used to love going to this dentist at one point but the review speaks for itself. I really contemplated writing this but if it helps someone. Also made attempts to see what they could do. Literally changed my life it's so embarrassing walking around and having a gap because I trusted Panther lake dentistry to deliver excellent customer care like they did. But an incomplete bridge is absolutely unacceptable. read more

Went to the dentist and had a cleaning. Gave them my insurance card premera. And after the cleaning they told me it was out of network. And charged me an extra few hundred dollars on top of what was billed to insurance. They waited until after the cleaning to tell be its out of network. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I have been coming to PLD for 15 years and I think Dr. Dag and Dr Bannerot are top notch. They have many dental hygienists and they are all friendly and gentle. The work they do is very good and lasts long. Pain free dentistry : ) read more

Great dental clinic, all involved were kind and respectful with the exception of one person. I suspect this person is the office manager and/or the billing person. She has no business dealing with the public beyond superficial greeting. She may be a great biller or great at her other tasks but compassion is not one of her skills. I called to cancel a third appointment short notice. After I canceled I own the fact that short notice cancels are not good as I work for a major medical organization myself. I owned it and took responsibility for it. I tried to explain to her the last 6 months I watched my dad die a slow death. The last 4 weeks of his life I took care of him 12 hours a day making it very hard to keep appointments. I then asked to post phone treatment for a month or two until things stabilize.Before I could even take a breath she launched into a 30-second rant about the hardship it causes the practice. I was well aware of that, that's why I owned it. Because I felt bad because I know! There was no condolence, no compassion. Just a rant. She told me I can only come in on same day. Which is fine, I get it, I messed up but under such circumstances I would have expected a little more compassion from someone who works with people every day. It's hard enough to even talk about my dad right now without crying. Maybe it will make her feel good to know the flood gates opened as she was filled with her righteous indignation during her rant. read more

I've gone to them for YEARS. Ever since I had teeth! However, when I got married I got new health insurance and I wanted to see if my new insurance would allow me to continue coming to see them. I called the office and explained the situation. The receptionist said that they would look into my insurance for me and get back to me. But she said that they weren't taking new clients. I told her I'm not a new client that I've gone there for years, I just had a name change. I didn't hear back from them for about a week so I called checking in. I was told they were "still looking into it". I tried calling back several times and got the same response. A WHOLE MONTH passes and I contacted a different dentist office, they got back to me within 24 hours and I set up an appointment with this new dentist. When I was in the new dentist's office I FINALLY heard back from Panther Lake that yes they take my insurance! I explained to the receptionist that because she took a MONTH to get back to me that she lost a life long client. I always loved the dentist at PLD and do miss them. But because of their receptionist I won't be back. read more

God bless Dr. Deiglmeier at Panther Lake Dental! I was having a lot of tooth pain, related to an implant (artificial tooth) placed by a different dentist (#1). Dr. Deiglmeier was willing to see me the same day even though his office was closing because of the national pandemic laws. The other dentist office was closed and unavailable. I was referred by dentist (#1) to an endodontist (#2). The endodontist said I would need root canal and a crown placed on the tooth next to the implant. Dr. Deiglmeier thought differently. He said my bite was off. After the implant, the surrounding teeth fit together differently and the back tooth had a small fracture. He filed down the teeth that weren't fitting right. He said he didn't think I would need a root canal or crown. He also told me to call even if the office is closed because he is available for dental emergencies. But my tooth is great and it's been about a month. I don't think he even charged money to file the teeth. He is an excellent dentist and human being! read more

I was referred by friend from Boeing Company. Dr. Tyler Radkey is one of the worse dentist I have ever seen in my life. He rush through his work and doesn't have time for any questions or to talk with you. They will numb your gum and Dr Radkey won't come see you until 1 hour or so and by then they have to inject you again to dumb it again. So ridiculous. They do not guarantee their work. I almost spent $8000 on one crown and three fillings. After few months I was having pain in one tooth so I made an appointment. Dr. Radkey barley spent 1 min with us and said sorry the crown he put on didn't work and you need to see different dentist downstairs to do root canal and left the room. He is most disrespectful and he will bill you crazy amount very time you visit them. Please think 10 times before you make an appointment. I will never recommend this clinic to anyone. They just need your money by suggesting the work is not required. He will scare you by showing x-ray stating you need to do this and that and if you don't do it right away then you will lose your teeth etc....He will really scared to the point that you will agree with him to give your hard working money to him and then after treatment you will have continuous problem so you will go again to give your more money to him. read more

As a child I had an abusive dentist, so I have quite a bit of anxiety sitting in a dental chair. Going to Panther Lake Dental has been a great experience for over a decade. I always have the same hygienist, however, when I forget to make an appointment they squeeze me in with someone new. I have always been pleased with my care. Everyone is extremely kind, gentle and knowledgeable. They are so good that I commute 45 minutes to get my dental care from people I can trust. Do you think that is a long commute for a dentist? My in-laws drive an hour and a half to go to Panther Lake Dental. I can not recommend them highly enough. read more

After 17 year as a loyal patient, they fired me due to having to miss / reschedule 3 appointments this year. One way back in March when my boss was going through chemotherapy, one in April when I had to put my 17 yr old cat down and one in November (this week) due to a surgery. A couple of years ago, I was having a root canal and they broke off one of the files inside. They were unable to fix it so I had to see someone else (more time off work) to pull the file out, but they couldn't finish the job so MORE time off to have PLD finish it. I didn't complain or fire them. Then, now this is the embarrassing part: I am prone to cold sores, especially in the winter when it's cold. Twice, Dr. D has walked in, pointed at my cold sore and said "what's going on there" ?? REALLY?? How humiliating. Still, I didn't fire him as a dentist. So now, because my boss had cancer, my cat died and I had a surgery, I'm too much of an inconvenience for them. They think they're all that and a bag of chips, but really, they aren't. read more
