The lady answering the phone at the front desk (name starts with a B I believe) is rude and nasty! My mom called in concern as to why she received a $50 bill and insurance is supposed to fully cover, then the lady had the audacity to have an attitude instead of being of ASSISTANCE. Where's your customer service? In the first phone conversation, she refused to remove the $50 charge and told my mom to contact the insurance provider instead. Frustrated, my mom then tells the lady she won't be coming back and to cancel the appointment she was having later in August. Then moments later, my mom received a call back stating somebody in the office removed the $50 charge -- what they should've done in the first place. Now the part that blows me is that lady tells my mom "but you will have to find another provider as we cancelled your august appointment" with a voice of tone as if my mom is no longer allowed there. When in reality, my mom had told her in the first phone conversation SHE NEVER WANTED TO RETURN. Then the lady on the phone ends the conversation after my mom says thank you & goodbye, with attitude saying "mhmmm". Not you're welcome or have a good day, anything? -- If you don't have any sense of professionalism or customer service, get a new job. Because you're clearly unfit for the role. Side note: there's a sprinkle of racism involved here because clearly my mom is a woman of color with an accent so the person on the phone at this dentist office was getting annoyed and frustrated. read more

A very rude lady at the office scheduled my appointment so early that I couldn't make it on time the next morning I called she told me I would have to pay $75. I told her that I could not pay the $75 and the company blocked my number!!!! This is one of the closest dentist to my house. I had wrote a review on google, and I felt compelled to write a review on here as well! Anyway, let me start off by saying this place BY FAR is the best medical facility I've ever been to. That's a major compliment especially because I work in the medical field too and I have high expectations on how a facility should be ran. From the front staff to the back and to all the doctors, not one single person has shown me anything besides friendliness and professionalism. That is definitely appreciated since I had high anxiety and avoided the dentist for many years to where I finally gave in and said it's time to go in. Anywho.. from my first visit (sept 2018) to present, everything has been PERFECT! I am 6 months into my braces and everything is moving and shaping into place quickly and I am excited when the day finally comes for me to get these braces off. The process and plan with Dr Nguyen & Dr Miller is stellar and I am so happy to have them take care of me!! Not only is this the best dentist I have found in the Seattle area, but I also love the fact that Dr. Miller understands chronic pain and helped make me feel more at ease. Jenn is the best hygienist, and pre-COVID-19, they had all the latest tools to make your teeth cleaning a breeze. Don't get me wrong. After waking up on a Saturday morning in extreme pain, I am so happy to have found Smiles @ Southcenter. I searched on yelp for providers that were open on Saturdays close to my home. Hoping someone would be willing to see me. Joy, answered the phone, worked her magic and was able to get me a time slot at 8am (or as soon as I could get in the office). Even checking in, I expected to wait since there were other patients with appts made prior to me, I was still taken back promptly. Dr. Miller took care of the nasty infection around my wisdom tooth that day. I have high anxiety when it comes to dentistry. As nervous as I was, all the staff members I came in contact with were genuinely caring. Although I'm still afraid of the dentist... NOT FOR KIDS I brought my daughter in due to the good reviews and how close it was to us. The cleaning went well and my daughter needed some work done so we scheduled. When we came back for her appointment, everything seemed fine. That changed very quickly. They wanted to do nitrous due to this being my daughters first dental work procedure, we agreed. They turned a movie on and I noticed my daughter seemed very out of it. They started working and my daughter FELL ASLEEP, they gave her WAY TOO MUCH NITROUS. It took a few minutes to wake her up which was terrifying. The dentist had to call in another dentist to help her wake her up!! Upon waking her up, they had to finish what they were doing. They sat her up once they were done and she threw up everywhere We left and got home and her "permanent" crown fell off!! We had to go all the way back and have them put it on again... Safe to say we will not be returning. read more

I have visited this office for the last 4 years and have nothing but good things to say. In fact, I travel from north Kirkland just for the experience. From my dentist Thuy Nguyen, to their assistants, to their dental hygienists (check out Shelley), to their billing staff, I have found them all to be friendly and provide excellent service. In fact -- and this is coming from a guy who has had A LOT of dental work done throughout the course of his lifetime -- this outfit ranks at the top. Thuy is warm and friendly and very competent. I have never had a problem with any of her work (isn't the best compliment I can give?) and I've had numerous fillings, two root canal diagnosis , and am currently receiving Invisoalign treatment (clear plate plastic braces for teeth straightening) through their office for a chewing disorder,. DDS. Nguyen even worked with me over the weekend when I needed emergency care without missing a step. She is sharp and knows what she is doing. In addition, the billing staff has always worked with me to get the best deals on my insurance and provide out of pocket payment plans. Work that can be deferred to the following year when the new annual benefits kick in -- will be. When I went through a layoff, they were very flexible and reasonable for granting me a very simple payback plan. In short, this place delivers high quality care and is run top notch. There is a reason why I make the drive and miss work just to be serviced here. read more

So I switched to this dentist because my hubby goes here and holy cow it's amazing. First off, my old dentist was like, old school. By old school, I mean old old OLD ASS school. He was good, but boy, I was confused looking at all these high tech stuff here at Smiles @ Southcenter. I go to Dr. Nguyen because my hubby really recommended her. The customer service is amazing. Once you check in, the front desk knows your name! They're super friendly. Then the assistant/staff members ask "Did you want a hot towel for your face?" or "It's a bit cold today, would you like a blanket" or "Did you want headphones so you can listen to music" etc! I guess i'm not used to all these services and friendly-ness. Anyways, Dr. Nguyen is super nice. When she had to put the needle in my gum to numb it, she made sure to do it slow so it wouldn't hurt. And she kept checking on me to make sure that I'm ok. I really appreciate that. I highly recommend this place. The staff are super friendly and the Dr's are skilled!!!! 5 stars! read more

This place deserves more than 5 stars. From the office staff to the hygeinists to the Dr....I dealt today with Nancy, Theresa and Dr. Roseto....and they are all amazing. For the first time in 31 years I had a cleaning that did not leave me in pain, nauseated and exhausted. They listen. They care. They love what they do. The staff is warm, relaxed, really listens, and genuinely wants you to be comfortable during your procedure. During today's visit Dr. Roseto cleaned and (a big deal for a sensitive patient) painlessly reseated an old bridge of mine which had fallen out. I love Smiles @ Southcenter. First of all, I live 5 minutes away so it's so convenient for me. It would also be convenient for anyone else since their office is located right off of the exit, heading towards Westfield Southcenter Mall. Anyway, my bf and I moved to seattle and needed to find a good dentist. I looked for reviews for so many dentists around the area but could not find any with high ratings except for Smiles @ Southcenter. I was so scared to go anywhere with bad reviews as I did not want anyone to hurt my gums or do any procedures incorrectly. Therefore, I decided to call Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Roseto's office to see if they would cover our insurances. It covered mines but not my boyfriend's at the time. He was forced to go to an Affordable Dental clinic which was not such a great experience for him. Once he switched jobs and got better insurance, he immediately switched over to my dentist. On my first visit to the clinic, I was so appalled about how clean, updated and big the facility was. I was greeted with some goodies from the office. I still use the two reusable bags I received. They have a cozy waiting facility (you barely have to wait anyway), some fresh fruits and water for your convenience. The bathroom as well is also feels like home. Nicely decorated and kept clean. I mentioned to them that it was like being in a hotel instead. All of the ladies up front (Blanca & Margaret) are so nice and accommodating. The hygienist, are all good (Jenny, Nancy & Shelley?) Belinda is awesome. And of course, Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Roseto are both sweet. I haven't seen Dr. Miller but my bf has and he says he's good as well. They have a great reminder system for your upcoming appointments (phone, text, email and even post card). If you can't make it, it's easy to reschedule. They always seem to have both morning and afternoon availability in a decent time frame. Anyway, if you're looking for a great dental office, Smiles @ Southcenter is the way to go. Even if your insurance does not cover 100%, it's still worth switching over. They'll definitely take good care of you here. read more

Smiles@Southcenter is amazing! I had been looking for a dentist and came upon Smiles@Southcenter. The reviews were great and so I scheduled an appointment. Scheduling was very easy. When I went in for my first appointment, the staff was friendly. They addressed me by my name right when I walked in. The dental hygienist took me back for a few scans and then I met Doctor Thuy Nguyen. She is smart, knows what she's doing and is willing to help answer any questions or clarify anything if needed. She's friendly and approachable. The office is also very clean and up-to-date. My husband and I have been coming to Smiles@Southcenter for a few months and we love it. The doctors are the best and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend this place. It also is a 5 minute drive from my house, which is great ;) read more

From arrival to departure, my experience was excellent. Since I had foot surgery, I've been dreading going out. It's the end of the year and I needed this appointment. They've got two handicap spots and the staff were accommodating as far as navigating into, through, and out of the office. Waiting area is spatious and open. Staff were attentive and kind. Explanations of treatments were simple but thorough at the same time, you knew what to expect each step of the way. Quality of service was excellent. Environment was clean and each of their patient rooms were open and also private at the same time. They've got blankets and headphones which help make the appointment more comfortable. What's also nice is that they have incentives for children to stay cavity free (toys and such). I'll be coming back next year. read more

Rude reception staff. Made an apt 2 days before hand and the receptionist wrote down a different time from what she told me, when I showed up for my apt, she was snarky and rude about it, blaming it on me. She was talking down to me in a rude tone, which I did not appreciate. On top of it, on the phone I was told they take my insurance, when I went in they said my insurance wouldn't cover the cost and it would be $200+ out of pocket , depending on what they decided to do, but could end up being considerably more. I originally found this clinic here on Yelp. I went in for a free consultation with Dr. Miller and I was impressed with his knowledge and overall outlook on things. He did an extraction and a couple of fillings for me last fall and they've all turned out really well. Dr. Nguyen did a filling for me and cleaned up a nasty tooth. She's very caring and did a good job. Update: 1 year later, all the work they did on me (a few fillings, 1 extraction) is still holding up very well. I had originally said they were on the pricey side, but after getting a few other quotes for similar work, they're about normal for the Seattle area. read more

A+! I had a very bad intolerable pain in my jacked up cracked up wisdom teeth on a Friday night. After searcching through google, I found this wonderful dental office that was open at 7 a.m. I left a voicemessage around 2 to 3 am on Saturday requesting to be seen asap. I received a call from their very nice receptionist and 650 am and was able to get me an appointment at 730. When I arrived, xrays were taken and I was seen by the dentist, Dr. Miller in less than 10 minutes. He explained to me what we needed to do, talked to about my options and pros and cons of getting the teeth pulled and not getting pulled. In short, there was no bullshit explanation. He was straight to the point. We then decided to go with the extraction. To my surprise, the whole procedure was painless oh yes, painless and fast! I did not feel a single thing. My recovery also went well and the price was pretty reasonable. I can confidently say its the best dental office Ive been into in years read more
