Love the Tap! Great local bar in Belmont. Hannah is an amazing bartender and is always friendly, upbeat and accommodating. Generous portions of food, and their pizzas are amazing.

Great food, great staff, great drinks and nice atmosphere. I have to recommend the spaghetti & meatball pizza.

No matter what and we understand how it is with servers, it's very hard for them to actually attend to one table. So we understand and we know how things are made. It takes time to make certain things that you order. It's not quick when certain items but when you order. I'm burger, and it's quicker Vs something more exotic. That's wonderful or something that takes longer to cook. So we waited and waited, and we got our order. And it was so amazing. It was just wonderful, we thank you so much for this wonderful day. Saturday night. The place was not crowded, even on bike weekend…read more The service was good. The wine list was average. Nothing outstanding. The food was a disappointment. My husband's filet mignon lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were gummy and translucent. They should not have been served. My salmon special came out with the wrong sides, not once, but twice. They tried to give me those disgusting mashed potatoes and green beans, when the specials page said pilaf and asparagus. When I finally got the rice pilaf, it lacked seasoning. The asparagus were blackened. After being sent back twice, the salmon was warm, not hot. The pub food may be good. If you're looking for a burger and a beer, that meal might be enjoyed with a view of the golf course. Sorry Greenside, we're not coming back.

Onions Pub & Restaurant turned out to be one of those places that makes you glad you trusted the reviews. Housed in the historic Tilton Inn, the restaurant has plenty of character before you even open the menu. We chose the pub side, which has a fun, relaxed atmosphere and felt like exactly the right place to kick off the evening. We started by sharing the French onion soup, and I'm glad we did. It was outstanding and easily one of the better versions I've had in quite some time. My partner ordered one of the entrée salads, which looked fresh, generous, and every bit as satisfying as my fish and chips. I paired the fish and chips with a Smithwick's Irish Red Ale. The fish was crisp, flaky, and satisfying--the kind of pub meal that's hard to improve on. The service added just as much to the experience as the food. Our waitress was also tending bar and happily shared the story behind both the historic inn and the restaurant's unusual name. As we learned, "Onion" is actually an affectionate nickname for Bermudians, a nod to the island's once-famous onion exports. Since the owner is half Bermudan, the name fits perfectly. She was one part bartender, one part server, and one part docent, and it made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Onions is a little quirky in all the right ways, with good food, welcoming people, and a setting that feels like it has stories to tell. If you're in the area--whether you're heading to a concert or just passing by on I-93--it's well worth the stop. Five stars.

The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for, a beautiful, local restaurant that was not a chain restaurant. Out of all the meals I had this week on my trip, this was by far the best I've had. I got a Pinot Noir, mouthwatering calamari, chicken parmesan with toasted garlic bread and pasta, and an incredible sweet potato & maple cheesecake to finish it all off.

We understood that the dining experience was meant to be slow and enjoyable, but it took about 30 minutes just for her to take our drink order and another 20 minutes to receive those drinks. During that time, we had our menus closed and were clearly ready to order, but she never came back to take our food order. When I did order my drink, I also asked for a Caesar salad, which arrived before she ever took our meal order. When the food finally came out, only three of the four plates were brought to the table. Instead of letting us know the fourth plate wasn't ready, she walked away to help other tables, leaving one of us waiting. The final interaction was the most off-putting. When we were deciding whether or not to order dessert and said we didn't want any, she responded with "I figured" and immediately dropped off the check. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I have nothing against this restaurant, the food was top notch and the atmosphere was lovely, but the service we received made the experience disappointing. Better attentiveness and professionalism from the server would make this an otherwise excellent restaurant.
