Would not recommend Paps Chop Shop at all. The owner promised to install a brand new engine in my hot rod for $5,000. They kept my car for weeks, I would call and ask when my car would be ready and they kept giving me the run around, having excuses to push the pickup date back until they almost had it for two months. When I picked my car up, the owner told me he just rebuilt my engine instead of replacing it, which was also a lie. The owner kept my car for weeks, didn't do a thing to it, and stole $5,000 from me. I dropped off my car mid-January (Jan 17) after having my engine blow. They told me the price of a new certified pre-owned engine and purchased it three days after I dropped off. There was a shipping delay due to weather and it got there about a week and a half later. They put in the new within two weeks but cracked the transmission while doing so (Feb 19). They told me parts for that fix would be in the next day and it would be fixed within a few days. They stated transmission was back/fixed (Feb 27) and it should be done the next day. Didn't hear from them until March 4 when they stated it would be ready March 5. I reach out March 8 for progress, was told there was a delay, checked in again March 14, was told it was being wrapped up. Husband called March 21, was told March 22 or 23 would be ready, had to reach out March 26 after not hearing back. Was told March 27 it was finished, it jut needed a test drive, and then did not hear anything until March 29 when they said i could pickup. Upon pickup there was a screeching metal noise that I was told was the breaks being used after getting rusty from non-use. The sound was so loud, I knew there was an issue, and brought it back. There was a small issue they fixed on the spot. All in all the cost was around $4500. Since then I've had nothing but trouble. I've had to take it in three times for major electric and engine issues. I was just recently quoted $2000 for a complete engine tune and up overhaul to fix a myriad of different issues (oil leaking, spark plugs, radiator leaking, loose transmission, etc.) that were caused by either a bad replacement engine or a bad replacement method. At this point I have paid an additional $4000 to fix all the issues I was left with after my engine replacement. read more

Place is a joke, they will take your money for deposit, then never perform any work on your vehicle. I paid a heft deposit, left my vehicle there for what the owner matt claimed would be, about 3-4 weeks. 6 months later and a ton of excuses and hollow promises and I had to go get my truck with no deposit returned and not a single thing do e to vehicle. The owner Matt lied numerous times about the amount of work he had completed until I drove there and found that nothing in fact had been done Paps Chop Shops M.O. is to take as many people's deposits and then never do any work. Horrible place took wife's car in for catalyst issues. Paid for parts up front. Paid in full after work supposed to finished over two weeks. The owner text and called I recorded every call every text, I made videos of car after text and calls he lied about everything. I am filing a complaint with the AG, the court house. Half the work was never done. I will be posting videos on YouTube under his company name. He blamed a tech, but he is the person who owns the place, he is the person who lied over and over again. It's now been twenty two days since dropping off the car. The car is now worse than it was before taking it there, was told we would get a refund now 8 days ago, $1020.50, YouTube will have my post of just how bad we wwwas taken advantage of. Video will be Paps chop shop AA fraudulent charges. Video will include the text, the audio and video of all the deceptive tactics he used! Filing lawsuit, filing complaint with A.G. the BBB, Chamber of commerce. I gave this man every opportunity to to the right thing! I have no doubt he will try to spin this some how on me. However I have everything since day one. I suggest people document everything from the first phone call to text to email, This business is the worst place ever. Matt, Angel and the rest of the staff are great. Their prices and service are unbeatable. I've taken my car there for new brakes, oil changes, tire rotation and a tire replacement. I won't take my car anywhere else. They also do various fundraisers, each of them for a great cause. read more

I saw their post on Facebook about the oil change special they were having so I figured what the heck, I need an oil change anyways. Took my trailblazer in and they had me done and out of there in about 25 minutes, maybe less honestly. Plus they finally were able to get that light off that has been lit up on my dash for months and months! Definitely will be going back again for future work! 10 out of 10 read more
