He showed me my current X-rays and showed me that everything is perfect going forward. I will have a one year appointment in June and Dr. Desai thinks all will be fine at that time. I also had a referral from my primary care to have X-rays completed on my left knee. They were completed and I will need to have complete knee replacement surgery. Today, I was given a cortisone and lidocaine injection that should last three months. Dr. Desai is an amazing surgeon. If you are in need of a knee replacement or hip replacement you should consult with him and his team at Jewett.

Clean practice environment. Was seen on time for my appointment (how often does THAT happen?!) and taken to room. Therapist made me comfortable and set me up with TENS therapy. Big surprise: warm electrode pads. (ahhhhh.....). Hot pack on top and left to relax. Then ultrasound therapy. Big surprise again: warm gel! (Am I in a dream?!). Did the therapy with BioFreeze - a great topical anesthetic. The ultrasound therapy was nice, and helped with some stiffness I've been having. On the way out, the secretary/receptionist was very accommodating with my hectic schedule and also was happy to help with a request for the doctor. Needed to switch appointment: no problems. Great people make a great practice.

Everyone is so willing to help and wants you to get better! Dr. Gomez will tell you straight what he thinks and whether or not he can help you. Offers ultrasound and electronic stimulation, paraffin wax, hot packs, and manual therapy. The manual therapy was my favorite. It hurt sometimes, but I think it produced quick results. The next time I need orthopedic care, I'll go here.

My father has stage 4 terminal cancer, and due to their inability to properly receive and process a referral, five months were wasted. After numerous phone calls and repeated follow-ups on my part, the staff eventually stated that Dr. Durfee had reviewed my father's case and scheduled an appointment. At that time, I explicitly confirmed that insurance authorization had already been completed. However, just one week before the scheduled visit, we were informed that the authorization had never been submitted. To make matters worse, we were then told that they do not even accept my father's Humana insurance. Additionally, after speaking directly with my father's oncologist, I learned that no one from Rothman Orthopaedics had ever contacted their office, despite me being told that a consultation between Dr. Durfee and the oncologist had taken place. This level of miscommunication, misinformation, and administrative failure is unacceptable--especially when dealing with a patient facing a life-limiting illness where time is incredibly valuable.

I can't speak to her manor or skills at all because I never saw her. There were so many blunders with the office staff, taking forever to get me checked in - despite the fact that I was there 30 minutes early. By the time they got their act together it was well past my appointment time and they said I would have to reschedule!! I was in a GREAT deal of pain and was desperate to get this test done. They didn't care, and insisted that I would have to reschedule. I was beyond infuriated and sobbing at the same time.
