Blythewood Papa John's: My $38 order was never delivered, so I go up to store to retrieve a refund and I was denied my refund. Instead, I was given half a refund for food I never received. I have video doorbell which never went off and another top of house camera, but a driver was never seen coming by or even driving by. The Papa Tracker said my order had been delivered, but no such thing. I'll never order from this location ever again. My wife and I using 2 different phones called incessantly for 15 minutes with no one answering the phone. Finally, we went up to the store and when we got there the woman at the counter was extremely rude as we were trying to explain our situation that we didn't receive our food. She walked away from us and told the "manager" to stop talking to us. She issued me half of my money back because we refused to accept our old, cold food from 90 minutes ago after the driver finally came back to the store with my order. They lie, lie, lie! I got ripped off from Papa John's. They stole my money. I feel defiled. This location needs to close. I'm going to talk with the manager on Monday at the North Main location. Today's experience was very different from my last to go order. My husband was asked what kind of crust he wanted. When he asked what type they had , the answer was " one". Maybe a rhetorical question? We ordered a pizza with one topping and it came out cheese , and it was uncut. Apparently another 20 minutes to wait for a correct order and we weren't so sure the odds were in our favor. We took our cheese pizza home, added our own toppings, cut it and saved ourselves 20 minutes and avoided more aggravation. read more

Improve Service I'm disabled so i Placed my order # 1235723864 online to be delivered to me and was charged $24.69 ($5 was a tip and $4.99 delivery fee included), received an alert that it the Uber company was delivering; so i immediately called Papa Johns (PJ) and requested to cancel and that I'd pick my order up. When I get to the store the Manager, Kimberly , hands me my pizza and updated receipt # ****45 totaling $19.20; so I advised her that amount is wrong, explaining she didn't account for the tip (which was for the driver) to give back to me $5.19. Kymberly said "Oh, I can't refund a tip"; to which I replied I had to pick my order up since you didn't have delivery people, and I don't like 3rd parties delivering my food, we've had issues before. I very nicely asked her to just cancel the entire order, she threw the pizza back on the rack behind her, and gave me a voided receipt with the exact same amount of $19.20. I explained It still doesn't include my tip, which the full amount to be refunded should be. $24.69, which is what i paid. I understand it takes up to 7 days to get my refund, but I should receive a voided receipt with the correct balance for my proof. She was very rude the entire time, I hope they can view the camera to see what all was said. I ended up calling corporate explaining the situation, while i was on the phone talking to corporate, Kimberly (the manger) was talking to another employee about she was going to call the police. I wasn't being disrespectful to anyone, so i told the PJ corporate rep what was happening while I was on the phone, as he was typing the complaint, and I waited for the police. The police came and advised this wasn't a police issue, and I agreed; however, i told the police I want to file a case on PJ (Kimberly) since she was waisting tax payer dollars and my time because all I wanted was my correct refund receipt back stating $24.69, which she refused to give me. The policeman advised her of what I wanted to do, so Kimberly ended up given my $5 cash (the tip, which should have been $5.19). I still wanted to do a report because I was embarrassed that a two police offers had to question me in front of this location, and EVEN with proof they at first was just on the business side. This manger needs to have better customer service training and I think PJ should know. Finally, when the offers advised her I still wanted to do a case. She retaliated by saying she wanted them to issue a trespass notice on me, which is invalid. ***I plan on taking this matter to court to have this removed*** My family and I have been a loyal customer since 2017, but I became disabled in 2019 and started getting PJ delivery. I'm 55, never had legal issues, or be banned from a store/restaurant. This Trespass Notice was issued unjustly and definitely should be removed from my record. I will not Ever go back to that store Until Kimberly is removed. I will patiently wait to see how Papa John responds. I'm am now waiting to see if I'll receive my $19.20 refund, since Kymberly ended up giving me $5 cash, totaling $24.20 (they can keep the .49). *******Better solution a Good Manger would have done: Simply remove the $5 tip since the customer intended it to go to a driver. If i could give a i would. I paid $37 for a large pepperoni and salami pizza and jalapeño knots. I get what i thought was a large cheese pizza and i called the manager, she said the other toppings are under the cheese! Who does that, i want to see my toppings. There is NO SAUCE at all on this pizza and she didn't even cut it!!!! The jalapeño knots were extra cooked (HARD) and missing jalapeños in most of them. I will never go to this location again and i should have looked at the reviews before ordering. The corporate office will be notified and i usually don't complain about one mistake, but 4, that is ridiculous. Be aware of this location and the incompetent people working there. read more

The pizza was estimated to take an hour to make (already longer than most locations) and when I arrived over an hour later, it had not been started and they estimated hours to wait. When the manager came over to cancel my order she did not acknowledge, maybe she didn't hear, my questioning. The pizza isn't worth the wait. Typically, the delivery takes over an hour at this location or longer, and the pizza is undercooked. Most recently, we waited nearly two hours. Although undercooked is better than being burnt, the dough isn't good and the toppings are half-heartedly thrown on. I'm not certain there's adult supervision at this location and I'm guessing the owner isn't around. Joeseppi's is a much better option and once they begin delivery, Papa Johns will probably go out of business. It's a shame, because I used to like PJs and we were excited to finally have a restaurant that delivers. read more

If I could leave no stars I would! The service is TERRIBLE!! I ordered 3 pizzas and wings at 4 pm and never received it. The tracker said it would be delivered at 5:52 pm and that time came and past with no food. I called and held for 15 minutes with no answer and hung up. During that time of holding the tracker updated and said the pizza would be delivered in 15 minutes; waited no food. So I called back and finally spoke to McKenzie Darby who told me the pizza was finally ready at 6:25 pm and the DoorDash driver was there. I was confused because I didn't order through DoorDash but through their website. I asked how long it would be for my order to be delivered and was told 30 more minutes so I told her to cancel it. She told me she canceled it but I would need to contact DoorDash for a refund. Again confused because I didn't place my order through DoorDash but directly through PJ website. I asked for a manager and she hung up. I called back and was on hold for 40+ minutes with no answer. 1 hour after telling McKenzie to cancel my order, I received a call from a DoorDash driver and he is asking if I still want the food. I told him no. I received another call from a different DoorDash diver at 8:30 pm telling me the order wasn't canceled and McKenzie told her they didn't have a time when the food would be delivered. When I want simple chain store pizza this used to be the place. Service and quality has severe declined. You can tell the staff that is working are only there for a paycheck. Will not be back will not refer. And living in a campground always get asked about pizza. I will pay $40 for a quality pizza and better service then to ever go back to this solution. read more

DO NOT order from here unless you want to wait over 1.5-2 hrs to get your pizza and if you call to inquire about your order the employees will leave you on hold for over 6mins then hang up on you. If you call back to ask for a refund they will hang up on you again and when you call back a 3rd time the store manager will make up an excuse as to why she can't give you a refund. But when you let her know that it's been done in the past she then will give it to you. I've had the worst experiences here. I don't even know why I bother with this place. Just don't, call Sara & Geos for your pizza or get it somewhere else. The service is terrible & may the gods help you if you have a problem because management doesn't care. The delivery guy literally dropped my food then set it in my porch to leave. The box was broken & my food was hanging out, he ARGUED with me when I wanted him to take it back & remake it. He finally took it back but management didn't care. This makes the third issue I've had with this store & management never cares. I don't even know if I should eat the food they send back, can I trust that they won't tamper with it before sealing the box? This is beyond ridiculous & I'm done with this company. We ordered our pizza for delivery at 6:30- it said it would take 89-99 minutes (which is ridiculous considering we live 8 minutes down the road). Anyways, then, I called to see if we could pick it up to make it faster, yet we never got an answer. We ended up just waiting for it to deliver and finally got the notification saying it was on the way over an hour and a half later. We were excited to FINALLY get our food, then we get a call saying "they don't accept cash anymore" and "needed our card information." So we go to give the card info to pay and they proceed to say THEY HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED MAKING IT YET. Ended up cancelling the order. Ordered Papa John's and that is where they issues started. The guy who delivered our food dropped food in the drive picked it up and left it on the door mat with the food hanging out the box nothing under it. I get to the door and get his attention before he can pull off and tell him this is unacceptable the food is hanging out of the box. The driver proceeds to argue with me and about it, I tell him he needs to take the food back to be replaced. After he reluctantly agrees to take it back I call the store to explain to the manager what was going on. The Manager informs me that he is back, (its 1.7 miles past a school, 2 playgrounds and has 5 stops signs he made it back in the time I was waiting for someone to pick up the phone.) The manager only spoke broken english and did not use words like "is" or "the" instead choosing to phrase her sentences like "He back now". So in short I am not going to get any thing from Papa John's again. The absolute WORST Papa John's ever. We are limited with delivery options in our area and have ordered from here a few times and we will just be stocking up on frozen pizzas from now on. Every time we order from there they screw up our pizza. It's always 2 hours to get a pizza, and then it comes and it's wrong. If we don't catch the error while the delivery person is here and we call back, they argue with us that they sent what we ordered even if we ordered online and you can clearly see what we ordered. Then, if they do say they will bring the correct pizza, they say it will be another 1.5 to 2 hours! So 4 hours to get what we ordered. They also want the other pizza back, so by the time they actually deliver what we ordered, we are hungry as hell. What are they going to do with the wrong pizza? Sell it? Eat it? Very odd. The manager's are the worst. They won't even give you the corporate number to call for customer service or there name. So we just look the number up online. Not that it does any good though. It's a new crew every few weeks. Don't order pizza from here. It will be wrong and take forever and if you have an issue and call, you will have someone argue with you, talk back, and generally be disrespectful or not even take you off of hold once they know what you are calling about. This was by far the most unprofessional environment I have ever been in. 1. I walk in looking at the menu to order and I'm told immediately it was going to be an hour wait. I was fine with waiting but I was not fine with her attitude. It's as if she expected me to leave. I didn't feel welcomed. 2. I look straight in the kitchen and I see two employees eating!!
