My pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious, and is arguably the best pizza I've had in Columbia! In particular, I loved how they made the crust, as you can see in the attached picture. Walked in with a group of 7, and was not greeted by anyone, for what felt like an eternity. As it was an open kitchen, we were able to see people working back there. However, no one greeted us even after making eye contact 3 times. Finally, I asked if someone was working the register, and one of the guys said "me", turned his back and walked away. Sooo incredibly rude! I gave it another 5 mins of our group completely being ignored, and then walked out. I understand they appeared to be busy. Regardless, you acknowledge patrons who walk through the door and stand around waiting for service. He should've told us he'll be right with us, something. But to turn his back without an explanation, apology, or anything, is beyond unacceptable! The place was a hole in the wall, with literal holes in their walls, so there's also that. "Everyone here was higher than the pizza oven." I don't even know where to start. This wasn't a restaurant, it was a live experiment in what happens when everyone on staff is baked out of their minds. My order took over an hour, and during that time, I watched someone drop a pizza on the floor and then just... stare at it. For a long time. Like he was trying to decide if it still counted as pizza. Fake Zach Galifianakis yelling at customers that they are backed up is not a vibe and probably reason #1 not to legalize marijuana in Cola. Incompetent would be a compliment. I stopped into stoners yesterday for a slice of pizza and to chat it up with my favorite Stoner, if you've had the pleasure of being served by Babs before you'd know she is a hard worker, has phenomenal service, and goes above and beyond to make your day. I came in right before noon to find this poor girl crying, running from counter to kitchen trying to get orders out and customers served. In the few spare moments I had to ask her what was going on, I found out that she was once again running the store by herself. Every time I come in here it's the same thing, this girl bending over backwards to help people and nobody is ever there to help her. Get this young lady some help, a raise, and an apology. This is my second time ordering delivery from Stoner's and it was just as good as my very first time. I ordered the large Nice to Meat You, such a cute name! The crust type I ordered was the NY Thin. I believe I received hand tossed this time around because I could totally tell the difference from the first time, but it was okay because it was still good! I enjoyed the very hearty amounts of cheese and meat! The sauce was a good ratio to the dough, meats, and cheese. The pizza was a really good size, the slices were good sizes, and the entire pizza is enough for about 2 to 3 people to be filled. I also ordered 10 wings with the Kickin Bourbon flavor. The wings were good! Tasted as if they were baked, and they were very saucy. The sauce was so flavorful kind of sweet with a hint of bourbon and a light kick. I put my wings back in the oven for just a little bit longer to achieve a crisp which is how I prefer my wings. It's national pizza week, so I obviously had to fill my belly with some local pizza. I got the stoner's snack attack special to-go, which included a 14" one topping pizza (I got a basic mushroom) and a small order of cheese sticks. I was pleasantly surprised it came with marinara and garlic sauce! The pizza and cheese stick dough had a nice yeasty bite, and the pizza sauce wasn't too tangy. I ordered my pizza hand-tossed, and it bordered near NY style. The cheese sticks were salted just right. Overall, good service and food, but nothing too memorable aside from the pizza names. The shop is located in the arcade mall, which is pretty neat. Staff wore masks , and it felt like they adhered to recommended safety protocols, which is always a plus. read more

The White Steak pizza was absolutely flavorless, the texture of both the steak and meat lovers version had a rubbery texture. Overall, it wasn't too expensive and tasted fine, but there are better places. We ordered a large cheese pizza, large Buffalo chicken pizza, and a small cheese bread. The cheese bread tasted good and the portion was fine. The pizzas we ordered were both hand tossed but they were really thin. They were very light on sauce as well so they both tasted dry. Nothing special about the Buffalo chicken pizza. The only part that made it different than the cheese pizza was the chicken, otherwise there didn't seem to be any Buffalo chicken sauce on it. Pizza was good. The toppings were very good, but the outer crust was my least favorite part. Too much crust and not enough "goodies" in my opinion. We saw the Valet eating Stoners Pizza every night at our hotel, The Sheraton. It looked amazing so he told us where to go. We ventured over after a long work day. I ordered a house salad with ranch dressing. OMG that dressing was to die for!!!! The salad was fresh and the perfect size. I then ordered the small No Brainer pizza. It was so good! The toppings were spread perfectly and the size is just right for a hungry person. Loved the crust and the sauce! The staff is very nice, order at the counter and have a seat style pizzeria. Stoner's has acceptable food - at a fairly cheap price. BUT - it's in a cramped location. When you walk in the door there isn't much room to queue up or wait on food. Until today, I've used their app to order food - and pick up before 11:30 before it gets busy for lunch. I've been in once a week in the past month. Always the same - the staff has never been welcoming or friendly and they don't mind ignoring you or asking if anyone in line just needs to pick up - but I've managed to successfully get my food by just pointing to it and showing I've already paid. Today, I walked in at 11:21 - my stromboli that I ordered and paid for 20 minutes before was to be ready by 11:24. There were three people waiting - the lady asked each of us "Are you picking up?" The first two said "ordering" - I said, "Picking up, but it looks like mine isn't ready yet" since there wasn't a box in the window. She concentrated on the first orderer. No "that will just be a few minutes!" Second orderer helped - and I heard her say something about their cook not being there, though there was a guy in the back making pizza. Once she was free, there was no customer service. No "hang on - let me go see about your order." No nothing. She just wandered off to the back. After another nine minutes, two employees came in the door with boxes. One signed in on the computer and went to the back to make pizza. Maybe this was the cook? I caught the counter person's attention, "How much longer on that Stromboli?" No words. She just walks to the back. Two minutes later: "he says it will be another 12 minutes." Refund, please. I have a meeting I need to get back to the office for! No, "I'm sorry." Just pecking at the keyboard for another 2 minutes. "Okay. It will go back to your card. Well, can I have something to show that, just in case it doesn't show up, because I don't see that. Disgusted look. She prints out something crediting me for the food, but not the tip. She KEPT the tip? HORRIBLE experience. These people have ZERO customer service skills. And, shockingly, no return on my card, yet. read more
