Ordered 1 pizza,went to store paid with my card.1 hour passed store called asking for my card # ,saying first was declined.paid with my card again same result, they asked for different card gave them the number. Had an uneasy feeling called bank first transaction was shown paid at store, immediately put a hold on both cards that were given over phone. Like 90% of businesses in the Shreveport/ Bossier area Papa John's has horrible food and customer service. Our pizza that was supposed to take 40 minutes at most, took over an hour to arrive. I called them after 50 min of waiting and was put on hold for 10 minutes until I gave up. When the pizza finally arrived it was cold, looked like day old leftover pizza, the crust (which was supposed to be extra crispy) was soggy except for the very edges which were as hard as stale bread. None of the extra condiments I paid for showed up and the wings were tiny and dry. We got a call about an hour after the pizza arrived asking if we'd gotten our pizza yet. I said yes and told the caller everything I'd had to put up with at that point, his response was "yeah, we've been having a lot off issues today". Thanks. No more Papa John's for us. At least not while we live in SBC. read more

If you order online, don't make the mistake of adding a tip unless it's an exorbitant amount. Add the tip after you receive the order, because if the driver thinks it's not worth his time, he'll conveniently forget the extras you ordered and the basics that come with the pizzas. read more

Delivery personnel dropped my food (chicken poppers) on the floor and she said she'll be back in 10 minutes with a new batch. 30 minutes passed, I called this store to ask what happened to my food, they said the driver came back and knocked on my door, if there was a knock, I should have known since I was expecting it. Driver didn't even call and store didn't even follow up. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!. I'll never order from Papa Johns again. read more

This place is horrible! I ordered pizza at 3:30 in the afternoon. Finally arrived barely warm and the crust was like cardboard. My kids will eat anything pizza but wouldn't eat this. I called told the manager​, Deeanna, what the problem was. She offered to remake and send out hot pizzas immediately. That was over 2 and a half hours ago. So Papa John's got my money and gave me inedible food and when I called Deeanna to find out about the pizza, she refused to talk to me. I have requested a refund from Papa John's. This place has great pizza. However, no matter what day and time, they ALWAYS deliver late. I ordered a medium cheese pizza because I had a promo code for a free one (since the last time we ordered it was an hour late). My husband is in the military and gets off for lunch around 11:30, and gets to the house around 11:45. I ordered the pizza online at 11:03am. The email confirmation I received said 30-40minutes for delivery. I figured it would be here by the time my husband was home and he could have lunch. Well that wasn't the case. My husband got home at 11:40 and we waited and waited. I called the store at 11:55 asking where it was, and the lady on the phone said the driver was in route and would be there in a minute. Well, my husband had to go back to work at 12:10. He didn't eat lunch because they didn't arrive on time. They arrived with the pizza at 12:15. Again, the pizza here tastes great. But I never want to order again if I have to wait over an hour for a pizza. read more

Found a FLY baked into my pizza!!! Order a large BBQ chicken pizza and added tomatoes. When I went to pick apart a slice for my 1 year old son, I picked the cheese off for the chicken and tomatoes underneath and found a dead fly!! Definitely not pleased with the POOR quality of pizza. When I called to tell the store about it, they never connected me through to a manager since the manager was busy on the other line with ANOTHER COMPLAINT. Employee gave me one free pizza next time I come in but I don't think finding a fly baked in my pizza makes me want to come back. Waste. read more

I have been a long time user of Papa John's on Airline in Bossier City but today I must say it has plummeted down to the pit of nothing. Ordered three pizzas and all three pizzas were jacked up!!! The Sausage Sensation pizza was ordered with lite chees it came with heavy cheese and undercooked instead of sausage sensation what I really got was a soggy chunky tomato onion and peppers light on the sausage.... what happened? The chicken club pizza ordered came seemingly extremely light on the chicken in fact several slices of the pizza had no chicken on it at all. The cheese pizza was burned. I have eaten at Papa John's on Airline in Bossier for more than six years but now it is no where near the quality it once was this is a serious Not Recommended. read more
