You guys really go out of your way to suck! Tonight was the last time we order from Papa John's. No cheese on the pizza and forget part of our order. We should have stayed with our first pick Antonio's pizza never ever let us down over 10 years.

Happy Valentine's Day to all. My girlfriend surprised me with a pizza today. When the driver arrived I said I didn't order a pizza. Well long story short. She ordered it. It is heart shaped. Along with a cookie. Wow it looked awesome. And tasted just as good. Thank you to Papa Johns for making a heart shaped pizza. You guys are awesome.

I called the Kamm's corner location to place a delivery order for a large pizza. After getting out of work, I had spoken to my boyfriend on the phone. Him and a friend of his had been working in the front yard cutting and laying cement all day. He said he hadn't eaten since breakfast and was hungry. I had a lot of running around to do. When I called l, Christina(I believe her name was) answered. I ordered a pizza and told her they had been outside working hard all day and was going to surprise him. That the men in the front are the people it's for and don't know it's coming. After the pizza was delivered, I get a thank you text message from him. Following was a picture of the pizza box. I had no idea what she did. Christina wrote "surprise. Enjoy. Kathy" and drew a cute smiley face and hearts. I thought wow. That's awesome! She took the surprise a step further. She didn't have to do it, but did. She went that mile. Not only did the surprise make my boyfriend smile, but that made my day. Not that employees have time do that all the time. But she took the time to go out of her way to do something selfless. From that small action, that tells me that she cares for her customers. She deserves praise for her act of random kindness. Thank you again!!

Coming into the store there was a cute counter by the window if you did decide to sit inside and eat. We came all the way from Kent for the pizza and wanted to try a slice before we left for home so my boyfriend ate a slice in the parking lot really quick. An employee (possibly the owner) came out with napkins and offered us to sit inside. We declined as we had to leave but the man graciously went inside and brought us out cold water bottles for our drive home! It was such a thoughtful gesture. Now onto the pizza. It was delicious! We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and the white Neapolitan style pizza. It wouldn't let me add pineapple to my pizza online, which was fine because it didn't need it, the pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved his pepperoni pizza and I also enjoyed my Neapolitan style white pizza. It had a great garlicky flavor and was crispy on the crust. Will definitely be back to try the margarita pizza next! So if you're looking for a great pizza with hospitality I recommend coming to Joe De's!

We ordered two small specialty pizzas and one extra-large pizza, all with pan crust. After placing our order, I overheard the kitchen mention they were out of pan crust, but no one informed us right away. When our two small pizzas arrived, I assumed the extra-large was still being prepared. When I asked about it, our server told me I had requested it to go, which I had not. To her credit, she tried to make things right by providing a pizza to take home, but the crusts and sizes were still not what we originally ordered. She also spent time explaining what was going on in the kitchen. Personally, I prefer when a problem is simply corrected rather than accompanied by excuses. In the end, I didn't eat much because I didn't care for the hand-tossed crust. To add to the disappointment, an automatic 20% gratuity was added to the bill, which was surprising and something I had never seen there before. Overall, this was not the experience I've come to expect from this restaurant. I'm not sure I'll be returning anytime soon.

If you check out my reviews, you'll see that I've sampled pizzas in more than one state and more than one country, including Italy. I've sampled many types of crusts and sauces. While the crust here is fine (not the best), the sauce is repulsive. My daughter said "Dad, this area is heavily populated with people from Eastern Bloc countries," to which I responded "If they like their pizza sweet, so be it. But I certainly don't." I understand that there are plenty of pizza styles, including the Greek version, which includes cinnamon on occasion. Yuck. This place is called Napoleon's Pizza, and they claim to conquer pretty much everything, from your pizza craving to the whole town of Parma. Indeed, Napoleon was an Italian dude who was born in France. His conquering skills were excellent, until his greed resulted in the deaths of thousands of soldiers who froze to death. All of that to say, I might've named this place Napoli's Pizza (since Napoli is the birthplace of the pizza we know today). But the sweet sauce here is an abomination, so maybe 'Napolean's' is more appropriate after all.

The food I ordered the anchovy margherita pizza and it was a solid 9.5/10. Easily one of the closest pizzas I've had in the U.S. to the authentic Roman-style pizzas I remember. The only minor criticism -- and honestly not really their fault -- was that the anchovies tasted slightly canned, giving a bit more fishiness than the fresh anchovies commonly used in Italy. The service One of the owners, Annie, felt like the Italian nonna welcoming you into her home. Warm, thoughtful, conversational and constantly making sure everyone was taken care of. That hospitality elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere The restaurant is smaller and lively, so it can get pretty loud, especially on a Saturday night. The music was a tad louder than I personally prefer, but I also think it helps balance out the constant buzz of conversation happening at every table. The wait My friend and I arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday and the wait was about an hour and a half -- which is wild for a pizza place, but also says everything about how popular it is. Worth it? If you're craving authentic Italian pizza, absolutely. Overall The food alone makes the noise and wait worthwhile, and the hospitality makes you want to come back. I'd absolutely return the next time I'm in Cleveland.

Since they don't take reservations, mentally prepare yourself for the wait. I came here with three friends on a Friday around 6:00/6:30 and waited around 50 minutes. It was nice outside so we just hung around outside of the restaurant. When we were seated the service was fast. We opted for the arugula salad and rione salad for the table and the salads were honestly delicious. For pizza, we ordered the larger size sausage pie (red sauce, mozzarella, roasted peppers, sautéed onions, garlic and parmesan). Thin crust with a good bite that holds its integrity pretty decently. Overall, this os probably one of the better pizzas in Cleveland.

That's how I came across Edison's Pizza, which had some great reviews. We ordered a large sausage and pepperoni, and the pickup time was about an hour. Not sure if that's typical, but it wasn't a big deal for us that day. Finding the place, however, was its own adventure. Google Maps couldn't locate it at first, then pulled up a different location. After a little trial and error, we finally figured out the pizza shop is actually inside a grocery store. Strange setup, but we eventually found it--and honestly, it was worth both the wait and the free scavenger hunt. The pizza itself was excellent. Great ratio of ingredients, not thin crust and not deep dish--soft in the center with a crispy, crunchy edge. It does come in on the higher side at nearly $30 for a large, but considering the quality and flavor, the value is still there.
