Primoz Pizza is the best pizza in Cleveland. In my honest opinion and review. They offer so many different varieties. Sometimes it is very hard to choose. Almost have to close your eyes and use your finger and point to one. You won't go wrong. Primoz also is proud to offer vegan pizzas. Including vegan toppings and vegan cheese. Or you can use vegan cheese on regular pizza toppings. Or whatever way you want. Primoz is here to please you. It's your taste buds. The staff is always friendly and ready to serve. The old Primos was on West 117 and they moved to the cam's corner area of West Park. I had never had their pizza before and I was blown away how good it was. I ordered the PArmageddon and the toppings were fresh and the pizza was again fantastic. I highly recommend this pizza place and will definitely be going back again. I had a vegan buffalo baked pizza delivered today. I've ordered this pizza in the past and it usually tastes great. I had one delivered today and it had an off flavor. I called the store to let them know and suggested that maybe they could check the ingredients. The women who answered seemed to get defensive and started going on about how good their pizza was. This was a disaster from start to finish. I walked in and gave me name and they said they didn't have an order for me. They didn't leave the kitchen. When they looked up a couple minutes later and I was still standing there, this person looked at me like he couldn't believe I was still there - what more could i possibly want from this person. I showed him my phone, than I had a confirmed order for 1pm. Then the other person working there started checking the Toast tablet and they guy get kept saying he didn't get the order, but then that it would be 10 minutes, so clearly he found the order, but didn't apologize and didn't admit any wrong doing. The guy tells me it will be 10 minutes. That seems unlikely but I'm not the expert. He doesn't offer to cancel the order or ask if I still want it, but I've already paid for it, so I feel stuck. I walk around the block and come back, and sit down. I see that vegan pizzas are half price today, but apparently doesn't apply if you ordered online and there, according to this guy, there is absolutely no way to cancel it. I'm waiting, the guys continues to be compelled unaffected by my presence, though when some young adult comes in to pick up so food, the pizza guy is as gracious as can be, like they've been friends for years. Finally get the pizza and it's been more than 20 minutes, which he could have just said. I would have canceled the order. We are now extremely late for where we are going and we don't even have time to eat the pizza anymore. But I look at it. Get this, an extra large pizza has an 11 inch diameter and is sliding around in this box with room to spare. Now, in Buffalo, a large pizza is 16-17 inches. In Pittsburgh, and extra large is 17 to 18 inches. That's about 58% smaller. Plus, I've now paid twice what this pizza costs on a Monday. I think this might be a scam - that an extra large pizza is just a large pizza cut in 12 pieces instead of 10. The pieces are tiny - some are two fingers wide. For this, they charge you $5 extra. So, 3.5 hours later we can finally eat the pizza. I thought it was fine (not good) but my companion wouldn't even eat a second slice because it was so under done even though it is 5pm and this was supposed to be lunch. I placed the order online using the link from the Primoz website. I ordered an hour ahead, scheduled for when we would be getting to Clevelan on our drive home. We pulled up at the exact time for which we ordered. The whole experience was so off putting that I can't even imagine ordering takeout from anywhere ever again. I've never had such a bad experience with Toast or a business though could not give fewer cares about a customer. read more

First off, I must say that the food rates 4 to 5 stars. I ordered a medium, not large, stuffed crust, pizza, pepperoni, pepper, and onions. It was about $23, which I thought was quite high for a medium size pizza. The toppings were $2.50extra each, And to be honest about it, pennies of each topping were probably used, except for the pepperoni. The main issue is that they charge a $.70 takeout fee. I really don't understand what the justification is for this. nobody's asking you to take it to the car; just hand it to me so I can take it myself. This is a small, yet blatant, ripoff. Let me speak to the integrity of this business entity. I placed an order through Doordash but due to a misunderstanding and ultimately mistake of my own creation, I ordered pizzas that were really what I did not want but was prepared to accept my mistake. However, the (presumably) manager or maybe owner on duty was so focused on customer satisfaction that he insisted on fixing new pizzas that were to my liking, which was extraordinarily conscientious of him. I was not surprised to discover that the pizzas were absolutely delicious. It is totallt different than NY pizza, but the crust, the sauce, the cheese and the toppings all came together in a heavenly matriony and delighted my tastebuds. Though they forgot the garlic butter I added. The marinara sauce is very good I will say that. Lol thats about it...well they have ginger ale which I love so props for that. However I paid for a 2 liter and got 2 20oz pops?? Okay whatever. I also ordered half pepperoni half Hawaiian and added teriyaki drizzle on the Hawaiian half.....which had I known was 1$ for like 1 tbsp of sauce would have passed on. Should have passed on, because they put teriyaki on the whole pizza and my boyfriend is quite picky so his dinner was ruined. And yes I double checked my receipt and it was specified to only my half. I actually still liked his better as mine unfortunately was so soggy it was falling apart. The flavors were okay it probably would have been pretty good if done well. It was just too overloaded, not cooked enough and just generally unappealing. They also charged 4$ for delivery? Ma'am I am 8 min away. So for 30$ we got to share some cheesy bread for dinner. Worse version of Little Cesar's, quite embarrassing. Pizza was quite expensive yet there was little quantity. Pizza was essentially sauceless and the wings were even worse. This establishment was out of bone in wings so had to settle for the boneless, quite sad to be honest. Also you have to dip your own wings in their sauce since they don't do it themselves. Also they'll tell you a time in which your pizza is ready then have you wait for 15 minutes inside. Might as well pay a little more and go to Dina's instead, it's right up the street. i called to order two pizzas on gluten free crusts. they ran out of gluten free crusts so they asked to put one on a cauliflower crust, which was also gluten free. when i received the two pizzas, one of them was perfect; however, i believe the cauliflower crust one was very soggy and had to be eaten with a fork and knife. i'm not sure if that's just how the cauliflower crust is, but i would not recommend ordering a pizza with that crust! the interaction i had over the phone was alright, but when given my total on the phone compared to at the restaurant i noticed that it was about $4 more due to the usage of a credit card to pay. nothing too bad, i just would have preferred to have known that in advance. overall, the two vegan pizzas i ordered were flavored really well, and i especially loved the taste of the vegan hawaiian! i would order from here again; however, the interaction wasn't particularly pleasant and i definitely wouldn't recommend ordering the cauliflower crust. read more

Fantastic pizza! Leans towards Greek rather than traditional NY style, which is a nice change. Sauce has a touch of sweetness, crust is crispy on the outside with a nice chew, plus perfectly cupped pepperoni and plenty of cheese. Slices are a little bit smaller than the boring, standard Domino's but they're also more substantial. Greek salad was large with tons of fresh romaine, grated feta (none of ubiquitous dry stuff), kalamata olives, pepperocini, thinly sliced cucumbers, and seeded tomatoes, which was a nice touch given that it's impossible to find decent tomatoes in the winter here. (I skipped the red onions offered.) Lots of salad dressings to choose from and the roasted garlic parmesan didn't disappoint. Prices were average and delivery was fast and pleasant. Kinda forgot to take pictures of the whole vegan before we started in the vegan was good, maybe a bit too much cheese for me. The vegan sausage on it was excellent and the fact that you actually got an identifiable artichoke heart was great! The traditional crust made it order pizza my daughter really liked, especially the sauce. The University Circle pizza looked good but was very soggy in the middle. I think it may have been frozen broccoli, that would let off a lot of extra water. Otherwise my husband liked it. I just cannot recommend this place. I live nearby so I've fallen into the trap of trying it over and over... only to be constantly disappointed. Food quality is inconsistent, and you only need to walk into the place to realize that it's just an assembly line of canned ingredients. The small space is taken up by price club sized jars and cans of sauce and various toppings. Honestly, I don't even care about that! It's still a cooked to order pizza (albeit with canned toppings) so it's bound to be better than a pizza with frozen toppings. But it's extremely pricey! Small, one topping pizza is around $11. Probably in the top 5% of pizza prices in town, even though the space is nothing more than a small storefront. Customer service is inconsistent and perpetually confused. Can you get half and half pizzas? Yes, no, or maybe, depending on who answers the phone, the day of the week, whether or not you're using a coupon, etc. I've never encountered a pizza joint where ordering half toppings was an issue. And don't even bother calling within an hour of closing. I called 45 minutes before closing and just wanted a pick up order - at least they answered the phone to tell me they were already closed. I believe all the reviews on here that say someone hung up on them, nobody answered, or somebody took their order and it never arrived. One of their most egregious sins is their "Wing Wednesday" promotion. An honest employee asked me directly if I wanted the "discount wings" or their regular wings. Of course I wanted the special! Wrong answer. They were ridiculously small (smaller than the cheapest frozen wings you can find at the cheapest off brand grocery store), and very obviously old based on their taste and appearance. It says a lot about a restaurateur that intentionally buys a different product and markets it as a daily "special." This is not any average restaurant putting the fish on special because it's getting old - this is an entirely sub par product! A true bait and switch and pretty disgusting. This place is allegedly an incarnation of another neighborhood pizza shop (that had a different name and was at a different location). So I asked directly what the hell happened and the lady said, "It's a new company with a new owner - we just bought the recipes." I've noticed now that the majority of their five star ratings are vegan reviewers. Totally cool with me, and while I often eat faux cheese and faux meat, I've never ordered it here... so it might be great. But based on their other quality control issues, I highly doubt that they fry the cauliflower in a different deep fryer than the chicken wings. read more

I'm soooo very happy Primoz is now in Mayfield! We've gotten both their regular cheese pizza as well as a couple from their vegan menu, and it is now our only pizza place. The vegan sausage and pepperoni really have the same seasonings that the meat versions have. The vegan cheese has a taste and good texture and used in the right amount. Their traditional crust is buttery and has a nice chew. The sauce is my favorite--not too much oregano, a bit on the sweet side, and thick. I esp liked the vegan sausage. I've been wanting to try their pizza for a while now. Today was perfect since my vegan teen needed a pick me up to let her know she is special and cared for. We headed out, not knowing if we could eat there or if we'd be taking it to go. We ordered a large Lakewood Vegan and sweet and sour "wings." The wings were good and the pizza BLEW US AWAY! I have been to Primo Pizza a few times and depending on what you are ordering it is a hit or miss, what that being said I want to express concern about there chicken bacon salad. 1st we ordered 4 chicken bacon salads and all of us were trying to figure out if that was chicken or something else in the salad. The chicken was dark and crumbled up. Never had crumbled up chicken on a chicken salad. I went back the next day to ask them what kind of chicken do they use and at first I was told they use chicken breast ( which I knew was not the truth) maybe they just did not know. After talking someone else informed me that they use chicken thighs, that made more sense and now I know why it was dark looking. Who uses crumbled up chicken thighs in a salad well I guess they do. With that being said I guess we have to ask instead of assuming. Salad was not good so unless you like crumbled up chicken thighs in you salad don't order. read more

I got a pizza two nights ago and ever since, I've asking myself if it was the best pizza I've ever had. The toppings go all the way to the edge. Lots of cheese. The dough was the right thickness and a little chewy, which is exactly how I like it (I'm not a thin and crispy guy) but there was a hint of crisp around the edges to hold it all together. The sauce was delicious, and that doesn't do it justice. My only criticism was that the mushrooms were not very noticeable; maybe not enough were put on; in fairness, I am weird and prefer the salty canned mushrooms on pizza. The other toppings (sausage and pepperoni) were flavorful and plentiful. Note: the sausage is chunky (which I prefer) as opposed to finely minced sausage. read more
