I picked up two pizzas, a side of jalapeño bites (YUM), 2 chocolate chip cookie desserts and a new low carb veggie bowl for myself. The low carb veggie bowl is brilliant and has been a needed option for a long time. Some of us are trying to do less carbs and it the perfect solution. I like to place it online so I can choose all the toppings I want and there are usually good specials going on even without a coupon code. The delivery time varies depending on how busy they are..it has taken awhile sometimes. The buffalo wings are delicious, and so are the garlic butter dipping sauce that you get with each pizza. The pizza itself from this location is not the issue. I have ordered from here several times. They are typically 10 minutes later than they quote, but it's not a huge deal. The issue I have is that on Sunday I ordered a pizza, and my account was charged twice. $22 may not seem like a lot to some people, and apparently Jose (who I spoke with) doesn't care. He said wait 48-72 hours and it will fix itself. I now can't pay a bill, and have incurred a late fee. I will no longer be ordering pizza from this Papa John's. Last night, papa took my first time.... Okay that sounds VERY twisted. Let me try again. LOL. But this is literally the first time I've ever ordered from Papa Js. In the past I've always opt out for the more affordable option, the D ominos. After relocating here to LA with my gf, we kept the same habit and ordered pizza from there. It wasn't bad at all. I mean, you can expect the quality. But boy IDK what's wrong with the ingredient that they use around here. We've ordered from them 3 times in total and all 3 times resulted a war zone in our toilet. We turned to frozen pizza but it just ain't cutting it. So we decided to give papa J a shot. Eureka!! Wow. We were both delighted. Everything together just tasted fresher. Most importantly, so far, no war zone warning yet!!! Woot woot!! On top of that, damn that garlic sauce of theirs is just plain orgasmic. Some evil idea they came up with I tell ya. I don't know how this place doesn't have more stars, because I have the app on my phone and I use it a lot. They have always been on point. No problems, the pizza is really good and so are their wings and the different breadsticks and deserts. I'm really impressed with all of their drivers, and this Super Bowl, I ordered a lot, via my phone app, and I forgot to delay the delivery time, and so I called and it was no problem for them, and they delivered exactly when they said they would. I am new to the area, I work off of baseline but live in Jurupa Valley (no papa johns delivers to me) so I call and it's almost ready when I get there. Very friendly service. I always ask for extra peppers that they put in the box and they put like 10 in there! So perfect for my pregnancy cravings. I am always greeted by each person who is working when I come in. I have never had an issue with rude people, nasty pizza, etc. The store is clean and well kept. We ordered 2 large pizzas last night, one large with pepperoni and the 2nd was thin crust alfredo pizza with chicken (add on). The pizzas arrived and the thin crust alfredo pizza had one piece of chicken in the entire pizza. We called to complain, and 30 minutes later they sent us a replacement, but this time the crust was regular, instead of the thin crust. We called again to have our order be corrected, and the manager said that they had practiced customer care by coming to deliver the second pizza. We asked for our money back, but the manager said she could give us a voucher. We asked for a phone number to make a complaint, and the manager provided a non-working number. This may not be a big deal to have the second pizza be regular crust instead of thin, but the principle is you can make a pizza order, pay for it, and not get the correct pizza that you ordered, which is understandable. But, businesses should be held accountable in correcting these mistakes with paying customers by giving them what they paid for. It seems nowadays, things are more expensive but the product and service is cheaper. We also did not get the voucher. read more
