    Canadian bacon + pineapple

One of my work colleagues raved about The Parlor Pizzeria located at Vineyards Marketplace in Rancho Cucamonga and highly recommended them. I was game for it. I arrived here at about 8:15 PM on a Saturday night. Saw a couple empty tables and chairs plus a bench outside for dining/waiting and about 4 bar stool seating inside. No public restrooms. Looks like a simple pizza place that mainly does take-out orders with minimal dine-in. Menu of items is plastered on the right wall upon entry for ease of reference. They weren't super busy at the time. Nice young lady greeted me immediately. Since this was my first time here, I asked some questions. She was kind to offer the information. Thank you young lady! I ended up getting one large pizza with half The Veggie (mushrooms, green peppers, onions, olives minus jalapenos) and half Canadian bacon + pineapple plus an order of 5 garlic knots (soaked in raw garlic / basil / oregano / oil). Please note they charge a base price for the cheese pizza depending on size in medium, large, x-large, or jumbo from $15.95 to $25.95 plus a set price $2+ per topping depending on pizza size. My whole order came out to be a total of $49.37. I didn't think too much about it until I closely looked at my receipt. I was not informed at the time that there is a credit card surcharge of 3.00%... I did not see any signages about it either unless I missed it. It would have been nice if someone told me. I may have paid with cash instead to save me a buck or so. Anyway, I gave $2+ tip since the lady staff was super nice & helpful. My order was rung in at 8:22 PM per receipt. I was quoted 9:00 PM when my order would be ready. I said fine... I'll be around. The whole time I was here waiting, I saw no more than 5 - 6 customers come into this pizza parlor. Their orders did not appear to be huge. At 9:00 PM, I overhead one male staff member ask another male staff member what are the toppings for a pizza. The toppings mentioned were the same toppings for my large pizza. What the heck!? Are they just putting in my order at closing time? I immediately walked up to the counter to ask about my order. I saw the one male staff member walk my pizza to the oven. I was a bit confused, but I remained calm. There was a young gentleman sweeping the floor in the front and he asked how he can help me. I told him I was still waiting for my order. He immediately walked into the kitchen to inquire. Thank you young man for the sense of urgency! The male staff member who put my pizza in the oven said it would take about 8 mins. I asked him why is my pizza just now being put in the oven at 9:05 PM. He told me that there was a hole in the pizza and they had to remake it. Something about the dough was stretched too much, hence, the hole. I said okay, but why didn't someone come out and tell me that my pizza had to be remade. I had to ask about it after closing time. Strange isn't it? I was calmly ticked, but was still patient to wait 8 more minutes. Well, 9:25 PM hit and still no pizza & no garlic knots. I was on the verge of asking for a refund, but I didn't. I softly yelled to get someone's attention in the kitchen. The young lady who took my order came out. I told her that I've been waiting well over one hour for my order. What was going on? She apologized for the wait and that she'll get my order out as soon as it was done. The same male staff member came out and offered me a free medium pizza voucher. I don't know if he was the manager or owner. I didn't ask, but he appeared to be the person in charge for the shift. He didn't apologize or anything. He just hesitantly tried to hand me the voucher. Definitely not genuine and sincere in my book. At this point, I was pissed. I said no thank you. He said what about a free cookie. I said no thank you. I did not come here for free food. I came here for great service & quality pizza + stuff. Young lady staff finally came out with my order plus what appears to be a cookie. That same male staff member took the cookie away and said I didn't want it. He was right. I didn't want it. I said thank you, took my order, and walked out. This was not the highly recommended pizza parlor experience I was looking for especially when I had to drive 1+ hrs to get here & 1+ hrs to get home. Hence, 2 stars! Unfortunately, I will not be a returning customer. The Parlor Pizzeria has lost a customer for life. I'm sure they could care less for one less customer otherwise their service would have been top notch to have their customers coming back. That's just too bad. One helpful tip to owner and staff... genuine, sincere, honest, and timely communication to your customers is key to a successful business. Good luck! Btw, pizza was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Pizza sauce had a spicy kick to it which I liked, but sauce was just a tad salty for my taste. All toppings were very fresh. Pizza crust was delightfully chewy and bouncy. Garlic knots were excellent, but too much oil!

This place is truly a local gem! The pizza is consistently delicious with perfectly baked crust, and fresh ingredients with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. You can tell everything is made with care!! What really sets this spot apart, is the exceptional service. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, genuinely appreciative of your business. Orders are always accurate and ready on time, which is huge for a take out spot. If you're looking for a great pizza spot without the wait or long waits, this is your spot. The area is lucky to have this local business and neighborhood favorite, I highly recommend them!!

Nonna's - Medium with pepperoni, sausage, and ricotta cheese. Beautiful and fantastic.

Dee-licious pizza! This is really a takeout joint. There are a couple of tables outside next to the parking lot but really, you will be taking your pizza to go. The Nonna pizza is a thing of beauty. The edge crust is crispy, sweet, and magnificent. Three slices for myself was more than sufficient for this fat boy but I wanted to eat more because it was so delicious. They do not offer slices, by the way. We ordered our medium Nonna with pepperoni, sausage, and ricotta cheese. The ingredients used were top notch. There could have been more sausage added but we received a ton of delicious, spicy pepperoni and the ricotta was soft and lovely. Be smarter than us and call and order your pizza ahead of time. And get the fantastic Nonna.

Incredible pizza. We ordered the Nonna Bella. We called ahead around 3:45 asking to place an order since their website online ordering was not accepting orders. Placing an order was super easy and I requested pick up for 5:30 - they said totally fine! We showed up at 5:28, they told us 5 mins and they gave it to us right on time. staff was super nice, we also got two cannolis and a garden salad. Special sauce is fire. Will visit again!

We came here for the first time and unfortunately, it happened to be the day where they were short staffed so it took quite a while to get our pizza. However, once we received the pizza and ate it, it made up for the wait because it was absolutely delicious. We ordered a Nonna with pepperoni and it was cooked to perfection with a delicious buttery crust. Very delicious! The place is clean and there is a small table attached to the wall at which you can eat, or at one of the two tables outside. Overall, it was a great pizza.

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while and haven't been there since they opened. We used to go to Anthony's at least once a month, and we try to support local as much as the wallet allows. We placed the order via phone on a Friday, one of their busiest days. ETA was 1 hour which is fair. Prices vary from the website to the menu in store, and the photos on Yelp, so make sure you get your total over the phone if ordering that way. The pizza was by no means bad, and I appreciate they still use the cardboard insert to prevent the box from getting soggy. Toppings tasted fresh, and the pineapple compliments the barbecue sauce and chicken. The peppers were pretty hot, so if you're not into that fiery lingering zest from the seeds, might want to request they go light on that topping. As for the dough, not very satisfying. It was a bit soggy. The top was perfectly browned, and not an expert at pizza, but it makes me think that maybe it was too runny before baking. I ended up using a fork and knife because it was falling apart. Taste was fine though nonetheless. There is barely any seating, so assume you'll be eating outside if dining in, or take it to go. As for the service, - The employees specifically verified that there are no fees for using a debit or credit card, both over the phone and when I asked in person. Good, because it's also not advertised on the menu or the website. Well, that was incorrect. Parlor Pizza has not only increased the prices significantly over time, but they charged extra fees on the receipt. Both times when I asked for a manager to clarify, mostly out of personal principle, they were "not available." This is deceptive business practice and a pretty blatant violation of CA SB-478. Hopefully they read this review and make a change to be transparent and get their employees accountable and informed. 2.5/5, rounding to 3/5, because of deceptive pricing, and because the dough was pretty mushy. Kudos to being accurate about order time despite being so busy, and friendly staff despite being misinformed.

This place makes some of the best pizza in southern california but they have some of the worst customer service. You will be left on hold for more than 10 minutes and they probably will forget to pick the phone back up. Your pizza won't be ready when they tell you it will be ready, it will probably be about 15 more minutes. The people that work the front and hand you your pizza will probably forget to give you something so make sure to check all your sauces and sides. BUT, i will continue to subject myself to this abuse bc the pizza is so good. The crust is out of this world, the toppings are elite, and the sauce is perfect. If they worked on the customer service i would go everyday.

    * DO NOT COME HERE EVER * i ordered a deep dish pepperoni pizza thinking it was going to be normal cheese on top sauce on bottom and asked them if it was made differently than normal ones i was told it was made normal which it wasn't , went inside to see if we could fix it and told me that's how they make it and they can't fix nothing so i wasted $35 the guy was really rude as well. to my knowledge the customer is always right

This has become my new favorite pizza place in Rancho! I recommend using their online ordering system through TouchBistro. They have additional items on their website that you won't see on their regular menu plus you can schedule a pick up time. Some of my favorites are their Butcher's Pizza & El Supremo. I prefer their regular pizza crust over the pan baked. The pan baked was a little too doughy for me. Everything is made from scratch and you can tell a difference. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

The pizza visually looked really good. It had a nice undercarriage. The dough was probably the best part though. The cheese tasted cheap and was really rubbery. The sauce tasted like some store bought sauce with some extra herbs and spices. Im not trying to sound harsh but The large pepperoni was 24.19? I expected a better pizza.

Nonna Bella pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños. GREAT!!!

The food was amazing! The Nonna Bella pizza tastes great and is my favorite! The Parlor Potatoes (Mojos) are also great! Love this spot!'n

Weird brown tinge on the lettuce I'm hoping it was just old and not washed poorly.

In your careful consideration of bespoke, gourmet pizza options in the Rancho area... BE WARNED. The Yelp listing doesn't notate the mark up of order even for pick up. We ordered pick up and paid about $10 more than if we called and ordered to went through their website on a $65 order of pizza salad and wings. It also doesn't tell you there is a 4.5 hour lead time if you order through Yelp. The pepperoni and mushroom toppings were good but the crust was a little on the burnt side and tough to chew. There's a considerable amount of grease on the top, if you're into that. The ranch for the salad was room temp, which is a little concerning. When I ran into pick up the order that I already paid for online, I left my phone and wallet in the car and when I asked for one extra dressing for the salad. When I didn't have the $.85 for the one extra dressing, after already giving it to me ... the girl very carefully slid the ranch back toward her... LOL. Very awkward. Not a big deal if I had my phone or wallet but a little annoying considering for a full order or wings and a large salad I was only given 3 ranch dressings. I don't think we'll be going back at least not by way of order through Yelp. Synopsis: Don't bother ordering on Yelp. The cost of customer acquisition for advertising with Yelp isn't work the customer experience. This is not the place for a quick order/pick up. This is also not the place for quality to value. Dressing to food ratio is light AF. Skip the salad. The salad ingredients weren't fresh. Some pieces of the lettuce were that weird tinge of pink and the tomatoes were mushy and lacked flavor.

The menu had a lot of options and variations with tongue-in-cheek names, but also the common names and descriptions below. Both my friend and I ordered "pinners," which are 8" sandwiches.
