Papa Johns used to be my absolute favorite pizza place growing up and for most of my adult life. But unfortunately, things have changed in the past few years. We recently decided to try their new garlic stuffed crust pizza. Let me tell you, it was a bit undercooked and soggy. But hey, it actually tasted better the next day when we reheated it in our oven for leftovers. It seems like they did not cook it all the way through, and this has been our experience for the last 3-4 times of going there. Always soggy pizza. I mean, don't get me wrong, their garlic dipping butter is still a major selling point. But let's be real, that alone isn't enough to keep me coming back when the main attraction is just subpar. Horrible experience with this Papa John's location! I haven't tried Papa John's out in years and instantly, tonight I was reminded as to why I stopped giving them my business. I guess it's the caring personality I have and always believing that people, places and things deserve a second chance but the joke was on me! As they say, a true leopard never changes their spot's. I went ahead and placed an order tonight via UberEats at approximately 10:00 PM - 10:15 PM with an expected delivery of 10:50 PM at the latest! Well my friends, this too was not even remotely close to the case. I received an update saying at the time that my pizza was supposed to be delivered stating that the new arrival time was going to be 11:15 PM.. once again, the lie detector and receipts I have confirm that this too was false! The Uber driver finally messages me around 11:30 PM telling me that she was at the store and was told that something was wrong with their systems or whatever excuse that was and still is irrelevant when you try to explain this to a hungry person. My pizza is not in front of me at the time it was expected and then some.. I tried calling the store to see where on earth my pizza is and of course no one answered and after a few more calls, eventually I finally got the automated recording that the location was magically closed and they couldn't answer phones which was once again BS because my Uber driver was literally still in the store after the fact of them supposedly closing.. 25 mins later I get a message from the driver saying they are arriving which puts us at 11:50 PM to be exact in which this has now turned into close to 2 hours for my order which arrived not even remotely close to being warm.. just cold and depressing... moral of the story/review is this is why I stick to what I know and most importantly never go back to the people, places and things in my past who have continuously proven that they are not reliable nor worthy of my money and time. Today i ordered a pizza from blue diamond and i could not believe my eyes when i saw opened the box. A few slices are missing due to me putting them in the air fryer cause i felt like it wasnt done being cooked. But while they were in the air frier i picked up a slice to eat while i waited for the air fryer to be done and I cannot believe the toppings were melted on to the box, the crust was none existent and it looks like someone took a bite of the crust (analogy, i doubt they did) and they covered the section thinking it was ok to give to me? I called the store and i honestly couldn't stop laughing cause how is this even possible or even a thing. Last pizza i ordered, like a month or 2 i ordered a pizza with toppings and they flat-out forgot the pepperoni which everyone knows if you dont use the deal option and pay regular price, adding toppings gets pricey. read more

Ordered a pizza for delivery at 12:16 PM Papa Tracker said it will be delivered at 12:35 PM. 1:20 PM rolls around and the time just gets longer and longer. Status said driver is waiting for the pizza. I call the store at 1:23 PM or so and ask to cancel the order. The person I spoke to asked my name and then states it was cancelled. First, it was NOT well done. 2nd the creamy tomato sauce is awful (didn't realize this auto selected for me). 3rd my pizza isn't even cut NY style (six slices), it's cut normal. 4th the pizza isn't even cut cleanly so I have to rip each slice away from the next slice. 5th, they didn't even give me my extra garlic for my breadsticks. 6th the garlic cup inside the pizza was open and spilled everywhere. Couldn't give a refund for an order that was NEVER delivered and when I arrived at the location couldn't be bothered to speak with me until an employee told her twice. She sat in the back when I arrived but then complained how "short staffed" she was. Told me she would call me back and never did. Moral of the story is don't deal with this establishment. I ordered a to go order on the evening of Friday, November 5th. No employee was wearing a mask over their mouth and nose when I walked in. I could see three employees. The woman behind the counter was using her mask to keep her chin warm and was coughing into her hands. She quickly tried to pull it up when I walked in. She did not wash her hands that she coughed into before grabbing my to go order. That's disgusting even when it's not a global pandemic. The two employees making pizzas were also maskless. One was wearing his mask over his chin (there were a lot of cold chins in Papa Johns tonight I guess) and the other employee didn't even have a mask on his person.
