I am very disappointed with the customer service at this location. I ordered a pizza a little late and they must've closed earlier than usual which is fine. What wasn't fine was the attitude of the associate. He was so rude and confrontational about it instead of just being civil. The disdain was just seeping from his face. Oh your staff is utterly antagonistic. Possibly trying to get this location closed or something. The tracker was stuck at the delivery with no information for some time so I called in to check in case they just missed a click. I was immediately put on hold.... 5min passed, nothing. Call again, immediately placed on hold again.... 3min pass. I call again and right as she answered I said "please don't put me on hold I just have a quick question-" but before I could finish, she already put me on hold. Repeat the last one 3 times more and then I just hang up and called back until she actually answered the phone like there's a human being on the other side. It was over 10 times by that point. Claimed she was helping a customer in store and was the only one there on a Saturday night, which is insane. Either she is utterly incompetent (she was not young) or blatantly sabotaging your business, which is what it seemed like. People like her will rot the company from the inside out. Cancelled my order because they said my phone number wasn't valid. Waited an hour before checking since it's Labor Day and probably short staffed. Complete BS because when I called it automatically recognized my phone and said my order was being cut and packaged. I asked to verify the number and they gave me the number I was calling on, the correct number. Said I needed to call back and place the order again. read more

Horrible customer service. Bad attitude causes concern for care of product. If it's that painful to have a conversation with a customer who has inquiries without unnecessary attitude then it's obvious they don't care about customer retention...nor job retention for that matter. Long delivery times with no warning up front before you pay, poor delivery drivers, pizza arriving cold, and having to enter your phone number several times to get answers from their chat help center. This on top of paying premium prices for pizza adds up to a really bad value for me. I've always loved PJ pizza but I probably just lost my taste for them. I'll keep my money from now on. read more

I know there isn't much that can be said about Papa-Johns that most people don't already know but I feel like I am lucky to have the store that I do in my area. They are pretty jam-up. Of course they don't make the ordering app, the corporate office does but that app is easy to use once you have an account. Once you place your order the pizza is made fresh and out the door asap. Our pizza has always arrived hot and fresh and FAST. The only mishap has been a missing garlic butter cup here and there but nothing that they didn't fix. 7/6/2021...Papa John's Pizza on Pike St. in Lawrenceville, GA. Called to order the $14 Specialty Large pizza, which I did NOT know was supposed to INCLUDE FIVE toppings in that $14 price. I asked the guy how much each topping cost, and he replied $1.59. I only named 3 toppings, and he charged me $4.77 for those three. I did not get the $14 Specialty, and the guy deliberately ripped me off. With a delivery fee, one large pizza cost me over $20. The toppings were super skimpy as well. I don't know why anyone would work for them as a delivery person either. The poor delivery people do not even get the delivery fee and stand at your door hoping for a tip. Without their delivery people they would have no delivery service at all, so their job is equally or more important than the crook's job on the phone. I won't be ordering pizza from that rip-off joint anymore, much less recommend it to anyone. They are about nothing but money.. read more

A few weeks ago my order got messed up and given to someone else. The head cook and manager sincerely apologized and told me that's not how they work. They then made my next two pizza orders free, I didn't ask, they just did it. That's customer service, you don't expect that from a pizza delivery store, but the new management has won me over. Consistently getting my order wrong. Leaving items off on a regular basis. They always offer to bring the missed item back out, but it's a real nuisance. I ordered from them a couple months back and a two liter was left off my order. There was supposed to be a note left on my account for a free two liter on my next visit. Next time I called the employee had no clue what I was talking about. I shrugged it off but stayed away for a while. I finally gave them another chance today. Yet again an item was left off my order. Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza from this location for dinner. Waited 30 minutes for it to arrive. When it came there was no "buffalo" on it. I called them immediately and let them know that the buffalo drizzle,which was the whole point of ordering THAT pizza, was missing. The lady said the only option was to wait another 30 minutes for them to remake the pizza and bring it, but we would have to give them the wrong pizza back. I told them how rediculous that is since the rest of my dinner that I ordered was sitting here getting cold. I asked if there was maybe something they could throw in to go along with it just to show their apology for wronging my order. The girl on the phone went to her manager to ask if there was anything they could do and I could clearly hear the manager in the back ground say in a shitty, hot tempered voice and I quote "You tell her it's not going to take AN HOUR for her to get her food and that we aren't doing anything for them." And yet, here I am sitting here 45 minutes after that conversation and still no food. The girl said her name was "Chris?" Not exactly sure how truthful that is. Will never order from Papa Johns again. Such horendous customer service. And if you are going to talk crap about your employees and express how little their happiness means to you, THEN DO IT WHEN THEY CANT HEAR YOU ON THE PHONE. A+ for intelligence. read more
