I went here before the storm this past Friday, in hopes of getting a few pizzas to hold us over. I ordered two large "3 topping" pies and also opted for the 6-Cheese Breadsticks. The breadsticks had a delightful flavor - I wish the order was a bit larger - but they were delicious - will order these again! The pizzas had a nice flavor and a fair amount of cheese and toppings - not too little, could be a handful more - but overall, a nice flavor in the red sauce, the well done crust (essentially fully baked) was good, and the pizzas and breadsticks did the trick! I have done a few online orders to a daycare/school for a year. This one in particular. I ordered 3 of the Jack of Lantern pizzas that were the special going on. I had to call into the store after making the order as the online service didnt allow for removal/customizing the order. I need to have them all cheese to make sure to accomodate kids in certain religious groups that do not eat port products; as the jack a lanterns were bordered with pepperonis. Really cute but the festive part was the shape of the pizza that mattered. The order and calling in for customization went smooth. The pizzas were delivered at the designated time to the school/daycare. However, about 1145am I received a call from the manager stating the driver delivered another pizza to the school/daycare and if I could call them to ask them why they informed the driver that all the pizzas he had was for their location. Confused as you are reading this, I was listening to the manager. I then said sir, if the pizzas were delivered in error then that was on his driver and if he is looking to go and retrieve the wrong delivered and deliver them correctly that is unsanitary and violation. He asked if I could call. I called the school/daycare, asked the desk about the delivery and was informed that thw driver brought all pizzas in. The school/daycare had pizzas delivered from me and another parent ( receipts left with my name and the other parent) and there was a 3rd pizza left with receipt to an unknown i dividual which was placed in their kitchen until they could identify what class to send it to. We discovered that was the pizza that belong to the daycare/school less then a blk away. I called the Papa John manager back, informed of what I was told and said it appeara that the driver should not have taken pizzas belonging to another business into the location. The manager asked if it would be ok to go and retrieve the pizza and being a parent and customer I was disgusted and turned completely off by his question. I stated that I did not agree with him picking the pizzas up and delivering them correctly as that is not sanitary nor appropriate as you do not know what condition or if someone touched as it was left in error. I truthfully informed the manager that I would never order deliver from them again for this reason. Be cautious with deliveres. read more

This review is not about the store. This is about Papa John's F'd up website!! It just took me almost a half hour to place an order. First, the site wouldn't take my Promo Code. I had.to go completely out and replace the order After having my daughter replace the order, I entered my payment information. And, the site rejected my card. I then tried to use another card (there is NOTHING wrong with any of my cards!) and once again the site would not allow me to enter the new card. It was stuck on the cash option. My son-in-law then had to go almost completely out so I could re-enter my payment info. This is completely unacceptable and ridiculous! I think Dominoes will be a better option next time. read more

I placed an online, leave at door order for a medium sized pizza and 6 unsauced wings. I waited over an hour for my food to arrive and it never did. I eventually gave the store a call where i was told that my food was delivered, but no one ever arrived to my door and I have a ring camera that is on all times of the day proving no one ever came to my door and dropped the food off. The worker on the phone sounded to be a young man and they proceeded to tell me 'Yes he did drop it off' and spoke to me with absolute disrespect and disgust. After I stated, 'How can I get a refund?', the young man said 'I'll do when I can, BYE' and he hung up the phone. I then called back trying to reach a manager because I couldn't believe the level of disrespect allowed at this location. Then a young lady answered the phone where she said that we got the order and that it should be refunding. When we asked for her name so that we can make sure we have proof someone said this to us, she gave us a name when we asked how to spell it, she hung up the phone. Piss poor service. I placed an order today, using the login information I've had on record for year. Today, for some strange region the delivery did not arrive. When I called the store, they claimed the delivery driver was unsure of where to deliver because the apt letter was not listed with the number. My apt complex does not included letters on the apt number. Not to mention, I've never had any issues in the past. When I called the store directly, I was met with nothing but a terrible attitude and sass. How is it my fault your driver can't read? These fast food places need to go back to the basics and understand/comprehend the only reason why their in business is due to good customer service. This neighborhood pizza carryout never disappoints. We have pizza from here at least once every two weeks, and there's never an issue. My favorite menu item is the rotisserie wings!! I think they are so yummy, you can get some with and without a flavor. My family loves the pizza, they get pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza, etc. We always either call our order in, or order online and pick up, and it's always hot and ready on time! Placed an order on line and signed up for status texts. I arrived at the location about 5 minutes after being notified that the order was ready. I was told only part of my order was ready, so I waited. In the meantime, a shouting match between employees got heated. I ended up waiting about 22 MORE minutes for my order. The pizza arrived on time for a Monday night, hot, fresh, and consisted of everything that was requested. Sadly, Papa Johns adds the driver delivery tip into the final price of the bill. It may be about $3 or so, luckily we had the extra money. Unfortunately, for the driver, that is all the tip that he will receive since it's already added to the bill. Also, we ordered hot wings with the pizza, which was a deal of a large pizza and wings or chicken poppers for $16.99. The wings are cooked in the oven probably from frozen so they aren't my forte. So due to March Madness they have this deal that if you order at least $15 worth you get enough PAPA points to get a free pizza! Now how can I pass this up! SOLD!!! So ordered online and set an order ahead time for pickup. I had some errands and wanted to do those first before going to pick up my order. As soon as I walked in the place was busy with activity for a Friday night, but I had no wait. As soon as I gave them my name he brought up my order and gave me my slip so I could sign since I did order online and I was out the door in under 5 minutes! Of course the pizza was awesome! Something about that damn sauce I tell ya! But the chicken bites or whatever you call them were VERY disappointing. $5 damn dollars for some midget chicken bites! Man they get you with the okie doke on this! I could have gotten nuggets for McDonald's for cheaper and bigger pieces. They were good but not worth $5. They won't get me on that ish again! We haven't gone to this location often but every time we go we're not disappointed!! We went today and redeemed my free pizza i had on the app and when my boyfriend went to pick it up he had to wait in line for a long time because the counter person was on the phone for a while but when she got off the phone she was very friendly and apologetic and even offered us 2 free pizzas (that had been previously ordered and then cancelled) and we were very grateful for that :) I didn't catch her name but she was a tall white woman with dark hair. I decided I would get out 4 a little drive to see what my dinner options were. Well, say no more! There was Papa John's lit up around eight-ish at night time calling my name! It was my first time there. I was a little bit frazzled and didn't know what to order. Lorraine was the person that took care of me. I asked Lorraine so many different questions for about five minutes. Luckily, there was nobody behind me waiting. Lorraine explained all the answers to my questions. Not only did she explain all the answers to my questions, she was very thorough and detailed. Needless to say, very patient also! I ordered a Mambo Chnx Pizza that night! I have decided that I will be back to get more pizza. Only on the night's or days that Lorraine works though. Lorraine's customer service skills have exceeded my expectations! We used to get wonderful pizzas from the Reisterstown (21136) Papa John's - full of cheese, well cooked - yummy! The last two times we have gotten pizza there, it has been terrible. First of all - the manager just yells at the employees - they don't seem to know what they are doing. When you go in to pick up the pizza, you are left standing at the front door, waiting to be taken care of even though you are the only customer in the place. You feel totally ignored. Finally someone asks what you'd order? We ordered a Shaq-a-Roni pizza, advertised as "extra cheese" - I don't think our pizza had any cheese on it. It was dry, flat and over cooked. The Shaq-a-Roni also advertised "extra pepperoni". I don't think it was "extra" anything. It was absolutely awful!!!
