This is got to be the one of the worst pizzas I've ever had! I went inside to order my pizza. The girl who took my order was very friendly. A pizza was ready in about 15 minutes. Then I got home ready to enjoy my pizza and the first two pieces that I pulled off of the pizza basically fell apart. I went ahead and tried some of the pizza. The taste is definitely off from what it used to be years ago. Virus 2020 post! I've never been to this location before and I won't come back. I ordered online and walked down to the restaurant from my hotel. I was greeted with what seemed to be a permanently installed pizza "window." It was like a gas station in the shady part of anytown USA. You have to press a button to get their attention (which is just spreading the virus if everyone touches it after a carrier does) and in their defense a person came up quickly. However, I was greeted with a one word question, "NAME?" I said "Online carry out for Mike." This was followed by an aggressive "LAST NAME?!" I supplied it and was told my price in a very argumentative tone. I paid and was chucked some change through the window. When he was at the register (where we could converse through the microphone system) I asked a simple question about whether the window was installed for security or for the current crisis. All I got from that question was an eye roll and then he came back up and threw my pizza through the slot. I checked the pizza to make sure it was correct (which it was) and went back to the hotel. I get that there is an ongoing pandemic, however, saying hello to your customers is not THAT difficult a task. Hopefully they were just overwhelmed by customers. The utmost worst pizza place in Richmond!!! The absolute worst customer service, and the food is horrible. How is this place still in business??! Management needs to step up and or someone above management because this place is in the toilet. My online order gets delivered without one of my pizzas. I graciously wait about 30 minutes for the rest of my order to be delivered and still no one shows up (the delivery driver just pretended that she had no idea). I then call the laburnum location to follow up, with little information about my order, as to why my order is taking over 30 minutes to be delivered. The person on the other line states that "it's on the way, there was a mess up"....okay.... this person had no idea what my order was. As of now I am writing this review STILL WAITING on my other pizza ( by the way it's not even a 10 minute drive from my house) and I made that phone call 25 minutes ago. Either some people need to take a little more consideration in doing their job or shut this business down. It's not worth the hassle! This place doesn't deserve any stars. read more

I just had a very horrible experience with the assistant manager who goes by the name "T". I ordered a pepperoni stuffed crust pizza and also a thin crust cheese pizza. The thin crust was for my 2 memebwrs of my family and the stuffed crust was for myself and another member of my family. We do not like thin crust pizza. Pictured below is the stuffed crust pizza which is supposed to be made out of their regular crust. This pizza showing is made with an extremely thin crust which I was told 3 times by Papa John's customer service (called twice) and another employee that it is made with their regular crust. I contacted the store and informed them that I had the wrong crust and the fact that when I picked the pizza up by the crust it would drop down. It had no support because it was so thin and SUPER GREASY (pic shown below) T (the assistant manager who would not give me her full first name) informed me that I would have to call back in the morning to discuss options with the general manager because she was "not going to give me a refund." I informed her that I was requesting a store credit for a later date and she declined that as well. She talked to me in a very rude way and said if I called corporate they would know her by the name "T" so she didn't need to provide her full name. She stated that she could not just refund me simply because "I didn't like the pizza!" I told her is wasn't that I just didn't like it, it was also because it was made using the wrong crust. Well we couldn't see eye to eye so I thanked her as she hung up in my face. I called corporate and now I'm waiting on a return call. Will follow up after I speak with corporate. read more

The delivery driver brought the cookie, the wrong cookie by the way, and said that he would be back with my pizza because they didn't put it in the bag. This store is the worst. I ordered a pizza a 545pm. An hour and a half later the driver shows up and says they gave him the wrong order and he needs to go back to the store. An hour later, my husband calls and some employee says "it's only been 33 minutes." Then they say oh I see well it will be there soon. He proceeded to have an unrelated conversation with another employee while I was talking. Another hour goes by and we call again to be told we would have to wait another hour for the pizza. Finally, at 1030, I call again and request to speak to the manager. He then told me the driver said it was completed. I informed him that clearly it wasn't and he apologizes. At this time, I'm very angry. I asked who the general manager was and he replied "he's busy at this time". I let him know that I asked for his name not what he was doing. He told me his name was Nick then I said what is his last name and he replied he didn't know. I told him to find out and then he immediately said White.
