This Papa Johns is super close to my house and they never disappoint! The employees are all super friendly and promptly tend to customers when they arrive. Best customer service hands down! Pizza is always right and always fresh! For a chain pizza spot this is my favorite by far! The quality and ingredients are great and consistent! The Papadias are one of my favorite menu items (the one pictured is the Steak & Cheese) along with the NEW Crispy Parm Pizza! Ordered twice this week - once out of desperation for quick delivery and the other because I found out we had rewards for a basically free meal. Our first experience was fantastic. Delivery was early. Food was the best Papa John's we've had - fresher tasting sauce than other chains, Parmesan garlic breadsticks were amazing and wings were decent. Second delivery was also early but the delivery driver seemed angry and was not friendly in the slightest. Food was just as good but the pizza arrived uncut. All in all, pretty good for a chain. I loove hot pizza & this location also always delivers on good prices with a discount ;-)! I was quoted a +15 min. wait for pickup and when I arrived, only waited another couple of minutes. Sometimes you just don't want to cook dinner. Sometimes you don't even have an idea of what dinner should be. Sometimes you postpone making a decision about dinner until it's 4:30 PM on a school night and you know you've got to eat something before you get hangry and start screaming at your cat about how penguins are plotting to overthrow eastern Europe. And that's where Papa John's comes into play. I've eaten at this Papa John's... waaay more than I'm willing to admit. I've lived in the area about five years and I can say that this location has never once messed up an order of mine. We ordered from this particular Papa John's just this evening and our sweet sweet cheesy goodness of a pizza was here in about 30 minutes. As the delivery driver stepped away from my door, giving me room to pick up my order off his bag, my dog ran out in exuberant Boston Terrier fashion. This pizza place takes advantage of you if you call to place your order. We got charged $19 for a large cheese pizza when it's $12 on there website!!!! I called and they said they won't do anything about it and don't care about the customer and then hung up on me. NEVER AGAIN!!! Find somewhere else to order food. Jeanette and Sam said it, and I will echo it; there is better pizza to be had, but at 1 AM Papa John's is the only place answering their phone and silencing the cries for pizza cravings. Melinda happily took my order and I drove over to pick it up. I used to be in the pizza business, and trust me, having to deliver a pie at 1 AM is not fun, especially with closing duties. I know it is "their job" and all that jazz, but if you're going to make me a late night pizza, I am gonna come pick it up. The pie was ready in 10 minutes and was still pipping hot when I got it home. Questionable Italian sausage pellets, fresh mushrooms, green peppers and those two understated peperoncinis saved the day. Hankering squashed. How very disappointed to find out Papa Johns use baby chicken wings to feed their guests. What a waste and a shame they charge so much for a little bone that might make for a toothpick. Very, very disappointed. One star because I had to select at least one. Recently Papa John's has been sending me a ton of emails consisting of some pretty good specials and promotions and I've taken them up on a few and have been impressed with the product they are delivering. After eating a lot Papa John's throughout middle school and high school, I was burned out. It's taken me 10 years to reacquire a taste for them, but better late than never. All of my pickup orders have been ready on time and the staff has been very nice upon picking up my pizzas. The pizza is always very hot and the desired toppings are always not only there, but noticeable. Papa John's doesn't skimp out on toppings like some other pizza chains do. This specific location is top notch, on time, and produces good quality pizza for a chain restaurant. read more

This place has tasty pies for a national chain. I always carry out / pickup and the cashiers are very friendly and helpful. Have had no experience with delivery. If your looking for a basic pizza I'd recommend this location. If parking at the store be careful coming in and out of the parking lot-- there are bad potholes and a section of the entry/exit that could rip the bottom of your vehicle out from under you. read more

As far as pizzas are concerned, there are several places that make better pizza (in my opinion), like Zerillos, Precint Pizza, and Westshore Pizza. But sometimes you are just in the mood to have something brought to you, and the online ordering at Papa Johns is da bomb! My favorite pizza is the Tuscan Six Cheese pizza. I usually get that and a lot of unsauced wings. Depending on the mood I will also get chicken strips. Their pizzas are not bad. The ease of ordering and delivery convenience sometime outweigh the quality difference. If I woke up in a pizza mood, and am willing to put on pants and leave the house, I would not go to Papa Johns (can you even eat there?). But if I'm stationary, tired, not wanting to talk to other human beings, and hungry, this is my go to place. read more

8747 West Waters - Tampa Florida I spoke to Landon, ordered and paid for The Works pizza on 5/06/21 at approximately 11:00 PM. I explained to Landon that I've already paid for a pizza but Door Dash confirmed Pick Up Only. I expressed the reason for the call was to see if they could deliver and if not, cancel my order. Landon assured that my pizza would be delivered so I placed my order. NEVER received my pizza! I called couple days later and explained to Trevor, who claimed to be a manager, and not only did he NOT offer to make me a pizza but lied to Door Dash that I did in fact picked up the pizza. Obviously, Trevor is the liar and possibly others who worked on that Thursday evening. Lost a good paying customer who believes in tipping well also....over a pizza, what a shame. When I order pizza, Papa Johns is my main choice. I live close by so I do pickup rather than delivery. I order with their online app and when I show up the pizza is always ready. Never had problems of having to wait or pizza being undercooked. Go to pizza is the regular Hawaiian and its always delicious! Let's start with my pizza box looking like the delivery guy drove over it. The pizza box and the box for the garlic knots look like they were dipped in garlic butter. When the delivery guy handed me the box I almost dropped it cause there's a fold about 1/4 in from the edge, pretty much looks like something heavy crushed it. The total was $22.69 and I gave the guy 2 $20 bills, he then goes and gives me $7, it didn't click that he kept $10 and then I go and give him $2 more as a tip and he walks away, then I realized that I should have more change and called him back, I told him that I have him $40 and then he says "oh yeah that's right" starts looking for more change and then says that it would've been a nice tip. Really? You show up with disgusting looking pizza boxes and pizza cause the cheese and toppings were stuck on the top, then tried to steal my money? Great customer service skills, is that the training the company shows the drivers, to steal the change from the customer? Too bad I can't post pictures! read more
