Ordered twice this week - once out of desperation for quick delivery and the other because I found out we had rewards for a basically free meal. Our first experience was fantastic. Delivery was early. Food was the best Papa John's we've had - fresher tasting sauce than other chains, Parmesan garlic breadsticks were amazing and wings were decent. Second delivery was also early but the delivery driver seemed angry and was not friendly in the slightest. Food was just as good but the pizza arrived uncut. All in all, pretty good for a chain. Potentially some service issues but based on 2 orders, I can't tell if it's a one-time thing or a common occurrence.

Large, thin crust with salami, sausage, three blend cheese and vegetables (mushrooms, spinach, onions, pepperoncini).

It's close to where I live, so it's bad for my health and pocket, but getting 30% off helps to offset my wallet. Pro Tip: When you place an online order, use this code, Get30; it has come in handy last 3-4 times to offset the cost of delivery, which is about $4. I love the fact you can add a myriad of veggies, so you can pill them up to your heart's desire. This time we ordered a large, thin crust with salami and sausage with three blend cheese and an inordonate amount of vegetables (mushrooms, spinach, onions, pepperoncini, olives & green peppers). I loove hot pizza & this location also always delivers on good prices with a discount ;-)! I was quoted a +15 min. wait for pickup and when I arrived, only waited another couple of minutes. I didn't want to be charged a delivery fee and originally wanted to order from Domino's, but they only allowed delivery at 1am (boo!), so I came here after. Service was polite. This is a pickup location with only one table if you choose to dine.

Jeanette and Sam said it, and I will echo it; there is better pizza to be had, but at 1 AM Papa John's is the only place answering their phone and silencing the cries for pizza cravings. Melinda happily took my order and I drove over to pick it up. I used to be in the pizza business, and trust me, having to deliver a pie at 1 AM is not fun, especially with closing duties. I know it is "their job" and all that jazz, but if you're going to make me a late night pizza, I am gonna come pick it up. The pie was ready in 10 minutes and was still pipping hot when I got it home. Questionable Italian sausage pellets, fresh mushrooms, green peppers and those two understated peperoncinis saved the day. Hankering squashed. I will never talk trash about Papa John's again.

I've ordered doubles with cheese from this location at least a dozen times. Friendly service and great attention to gluten-free orders. They always ask if GF buns are for allergy or preference. I always let them know we're in between (intolerant) so they don't give us wheat or work extra to prepare it allergen free. GF buns need toasting, so my orders are always to go.

The chicken fingers meal came out cold, like it was right from the fridge (not like it had been sitting around but not heated up). They did remake the food quickly which was appreciated. They have a good array of food options and having ability to pick a side is great. We did end up ordering desserts, but they don't have cutlery sitting out. I don't know if there's an issue but it's inconvenient. If you want to share a sundae, you have to go to the counter to ask for a spoon. It's not very convenient. I will say that my burger was very juicy, having a side of broccoli made it a bit healthier, the cheese curds were delicious, and the turtle sundae was a perfectly sweet end to share. They also have flavors of the day which is a nice option. Plenty of parking and seating as well as a clean interior.

I'm glad I did and stopped overlooking it sooner, because these subs are good. It may not be in the most desirable area in town, but the store was remarkably clean and the employees were very friendly. They even allowed me to bring my sweet baby Muffin (shih tzu) inside while in her carriage. It's my first time in any Firehouse Subs, so I wasn't entirely sure what I would like. I went with The Engineer because the calorie count (conveniently plastered along the menu) was right where I wanted it, and I love most turkey subs in general. Plus, I thought the addition of mushrooms was pretty unique. I got the pickle on the side and a confetti cookie that I will eat later. (I'll let you know how it is--but anything with sprinkles will be a winner). I was pretty impressed with the quality of the sub. The meat was hot and tender, mixing well with the cheese, and the mushrooms did give it a good unique taste and texture profile like I knew it would. Meanwhile, the veggies in the sub were cool and crisp, making the whole sandwich a satisfying yet refreshing meal. I like how they ask if I would like to round up for the firemen. I realize Firehouse Subs were founded by firemen and they give back, so I said, "Why not?" since it's only rounding out to the nearest dollar. Although I think The Engineer will be my favorite and my usual to get, I'll be sure to try others on my repeat trips.
