The ambience is typical pizzeria/italy vibes, but this place is great for when you want some fresh Italian food at a fair price. If you happen to get Amber as your waitress you won't be disappointed in the service she provides. Thank you for a great night! My wife and I will be returning for sure!

We decided to go for the white pizza because, sometimes you need to get away from a typical pepperoni, but that was not a good choice unfortunately. The pizza arrived looking all innocent and promising, but one bite in, and we were hit with the crushing realization: this thing had zero flavor. Like, none. It was like eating a soggy cracker that someone whispered the word "cheese" to from across the room. No garlic, no seasoning, no pizzazz--just a sad, bland circle of disappointment. I kept eating, hoping maybe the next bite would surprise me....it didn't. The service was fine, and the place itself had a decent vibe, but let's be real--if the pizza doesn't deliver, what's the point? Little Italy, I wanted to love you, but you left me with nothing but regret and a craving for actual flavor.

Ok for the food, go for their signature items that's where they shine. Do not go there for the best salad you've ever had, this is not that place (and yes, I've had those too). Pizza is my normal go to but for this trip we got burgers and fries and it was just what we were looking for. If you are a fan of the coated crispy fries, that's what they serve. You can choose your side with the sandwiches and burgers so we also got cole slaw, it was ok but underwhelming, I'm guessing it's not house made. We love their patio seating and the casual, neighborhood hangout vibe. Always friendly service and good food times.

I came back here to try the pig skins and the Parmesan Meatball Sub on a take out basis. The pork skins were nice and crusty, and came with a spicy Texas Pete Ranch sauce. A previous review stated that the pork skins were house made, but I'm not sure that is the case - the appearance is very much that of a commercially secured product. Still, with plenty of the Texas Pete Ranch, these made a decent starter. The sub includes 3 large meatballs, mozzarella , Parmesan and marinara on a sub roll. These were excellent meatballs and the cheese combo was very nice.

We wanted to eat there again this week to see if our great meal last week was good just because it was the "special" or if the standard menu choices are as tasty as the "specials". I had a pasta dish with Italian sausage and peppers in a thick marinara sauce with ziti pasta. The meal included a salad with their "house dressing" and bread. The pasta dish, salad dressing and bread were all VERY good. I also had iced tea that was better than most restaurants' tea. The marinara sauce tasted homemade in the best way possible! The taste and quality of the food was top notch. The serving size was large enough to take home for lunch or supper the next day. Our server was very attentive. The service matched the quality of the food. I loved the music selections, which were popular in my younger years. It added an enjoyable element to our meal. I plan on adding this Italian restaurant to our regular rotation. Pricing is very good for the quantity of fish d you get. There are plenty of menu selections for me to check out in the future!

Weathered booths and tables adorn the interior, but they're worn in a comfortable way. I dropped in for lunch and chose one of the midday specials: angel hair pasta with meatballs. My order was taken promptly, and soon after I received a loaf of sliced bread to sample. Elizabeth's doesn't offer my favorite bread amongst the area's restaurants, but it's still pretty good. My plate of pasta arrived not long after, a sizeable mass of well-sauced noodles accompanied by two seasoned meatballs. The dish was a filling meal, satisfying in its simplicity, and at $11.99 (plus tax and credit card fee) it's an affordable option too. It's been quite a while since I had one of the Philly sandwiches available here, but I recall they were pretty good too, and I've no reason to think that's changed.

Classic New York-style: thin, foldable crust with that just-right chew, a bright, slightly tangy sauce, and a smooth layer of melty mozzarella that pulls without getting greasy. I've tried their Fried Chicken Sandwich ( small filet, middle of the pack overall), but not the wings. Today I ordered the classic wings, both the Original Hot and the Lemon Pepper dry rubbed - a 6 piece mix & match combo for $12.69, it comes with their famous, well seasoned FF and a large drink. I also got a side of Cajun Corn medallions. I got both the Blue Cheese and the Ranch sauces. The FF are rather unique for a fast food spot - freshly hand cut, with a bit of skin left on, sprinkled with a seasoning mix that gives the fries sweet, salty, and savory aspects. While these fries are very popular, I'm not a fan of the seasoning, don't care for the sweet flavor on fries. Without that sweetness, these would be very, very good fries in both taste and texture - as it is, I would pass on a combo on any future visits, or swap out the fries for celery or such. The corn medallions are sliced directly from the cob, deep fried, and then sprinkled with Cajun seasoning. The corn was tasty and in medallion form, easy to deal with, but a touch greasy. The medallion were easily handled with one hand, a convenient touch. Now let's talk about the wings. The wings served here are touted as never frozen , and are cooked to order. The cooked to order claim is simply not always the case - at heavy traffic times, full baskets are cooked in anticipation of orders to be received - just how broad is the "cooked to order" window? Since around 90% of Wingstop restaurants are franchised operations, I would guess there can be significant differences in the breadth of that window. As to the never frozen, this approach brings up logistical issues for the individual restaurants - dependable suppliers capable of frequent deliveries, determining proper delivery sizes - would locations be tempted to freeze chicken to reduce loss? Would cooked wings be "carried over" to the next day? Like always, get to know your restaurant if you expect you will visit more than just occasionally! As is my habit when visiting a restaurant, I arrived shortly after the posted opening time - here it is 10:30. As was the case at the other location ( and a good number of other restaurant spots), they weren't really ready to conduct, still prepping, organizing, turning on the fryers, checking their cell phone, getting ready for their day in the world of fast food service! Took just under 25 minutes to get my order, not exactly fast food speed. The Original Hot wings were very nice with the sauce providing the right amount of heat to complement the plumb, well cooked chicken. The texture was also excellent with the tender meat pulling cleanly off the bone. The wings were nicely sauced with a bit of residue at the bottom for more dipping, but not so much as to make the wings soggy in any way! The Lemon Pepper wings were much the same, though I found them as touch bland. The Blue Cheese was good, but not great. I thought the ranch was the stronger of the two! Would I come back for these wing - only if a convenient drive by. There are a number of spots locally that topped these wings, with comparable pricing and better service - Starting with Ronni's, Waldo's, Sixty-Six, and even Longhorn, for dry rub. And other very good choices include Pizza Hut (Yes, Pizza Hut), Chili's, East Coast Wings, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees, and of course Zaxby's! Long review, but for a reason - this chain is getting a lot of media attention - sometimes this works, sometimes it don't - we'll see, I think there are storms on the horizon, with the service aspect the most troubling!
