Tried to call-in an order, to change their standard on-line pizza topping, etc.. but could not, since they weren't answering their phone. Had to order on-line so not able to make any changes on their site. Ordered a Bacon, Chicken Artichoke pizza for $18 (with no choice in size, etc). Followed cooking directions exactly; crust on top was nicely baked and brown, the inside crust came out raw and uncooked. The artichoke parts on the pizza were the stem parts that one usually throws away and someone had dropped the salt shaker in the Garlic sauce, (given no choice of sauces on line) with was so salty as to be inedible. This is undoubted the worst pizza ever...with a close 2nd from Louis' Pizza. For $18 this is the biggest rip-off ever. Thinking of calling the Health Dept. to inspect this site. If you want the $5 pizza on Friday, not only do you have to order it online because they refuse to take your order in person or over the phone. The offer also stops 30 minutes before closing because that's when they stop taking online orders. Smh. A deal that is supposed to be all day but ends 30 minutes before closing is crap. Went in on a Friday to get the $5 large thin crust special, but was told that's an "online only" special and I'd have to use my phone to place the order. When I asked when that change was made he said something to the effect of "oh, about a year and a half ago". ??? I've been walking in and ordering that special at least once a month at the Baptist Rd location for years. Nobody asked me what kind of crust I wanted so they gave me thin crust and since I did not read the fine print (because when you see the word pizza, why would you keep reading?) you have to bake it yourself. 25 feet away is a 7-Eleven where you can get a much better pizza for $6.75. Papa Murphy's is far and way the best "take-and-bake" pizza available. Lots of mighty tasty options. Fine, fresh ingredients. As for the facility, well, it's hit and miss depending on who's on duty at the time. I can't complain much about that, though, considering they must hire minimum wage help who aren't inclined to stay very long before moving on. It's a small yet clean place. It sits next door to Subway. The staff in here are generally pretty nice. I haven't ever seen this place really busy, even during rush hours. I enjoy picking up a pizza from here to take home and bake. The instructions are simple and easy to understand. I haven't ever had a bad pizza from here. The pizza is like crack here. While I have never consumed crack, I can't seem to stop myself from attempting to finish an entire pizza. This is not gourmet, or high quality. Not the best in the world. Just delicious. Damn delicious. I get the pan and the wife gets thin crust. Both, delicious. The kids making the pizza are always polite. I say kids because I don't think I have ever seen an adult working there but they do a great job. If you live in Monument, I would set the temp of your oven at 350 and rotate the pizza every five minutes. Keep it away from the sides of your oven especially if your is gas and gets nuclear pretty quickly. It will come out perfect as long as you pull once the browning has began. The food is reliably good at all the Papa Murphy's but the very unhappy with life old lady that denied my $2 off coupons that had no expiration date was a total b***h and couldn't give a crap. I'm heading over to Papa Murphy's tomorrow; the pizza is great even if you have to cook it yourself. My favorite pizza is the 5-meat stuffed pizza. It is a massive pizza that is oh about 20,000 calories per slice. It tastes so good that it can't be bad for you right? During the weekends at the peak times you will definitely have to wait awhile. It gets really packed, and the highschool kids that work there tend to make mistakes when it's busy. I literally saw them mess up every single pizza one day. They're quick to correct it but it does slow things down. Mmm pizza. I'm already daydreaming about it. 02-26-11: It seems that their slightly inept high school aged employees have been replaced by angsty college aged kids. I went today at about 1130am, which is half an hour after they opened. Their neon signs "Pizza" and "Open" were still off. One star only because I'm not completely unreasonable person unlike the woman that unfortunately served my wife tonight. And I use the term served very loosely. Papa Murphy's is running a Valentine's Day special with heart shaped pepperoni pizzas this week-and my goofy wife loved the idea and wanted to surprise me with one this evening. She preordered them and asked if should could please have one without the pepperoni since she is a vegetarian. Was told NOT possible. She even offered to pay the advertised price just please make it cheese only. This woman would not accommodate. Now if these were permafrost, then I could maybe understand. But no - the woman literally made it in front of her and put the pepperoni on it. Unbelievable. I'm certainly glad it wasn't me that experienced this first hand I guarantee I would not have been nearly as pleasant as my wife. Shouldn't be an issue for us in the future as this location will never get our business again. Just an update. My wife contacted the corporate office to express her frustrations. She was contacted by a woman this morning to discuss her experience. This lady literally argued that my wife did not really watch this person make this pizza in front of her. Store ran out of thin crusts which the special $5.00 Friday comes on. Forced customer to pay full price for the same pizza on regular crust instead of accommodating the customer for deal advertised. Love Papa Murphy's but this location has some serious food poisoning issues. Twice I've gotten food poisoning from their pizzas. Yes, I baked the pizzas as prescribed...even a bit longer. I had a very poor experience with the management of this location. Very unprofessional and they don't care about their staff. My son worked there and i went in to pick up his last check. They wouldn't give it to me or mail it to him. We had just had a death in the family. Lily was who i dealt with and she complained to the staff about what was going on with our family and how we were dealing with it. I ordered a pizza and salad online, paid for it with a typical in-house tip, was given a pick ip time 30 minutes after I placed my order. I arrived about 5 minutes early and my order was ready. Phoned in a order for the $9 Mother's Day gourmet delite pizza. Went to pick it up and the staff and manager, who refused to give her name even removed her name tag, said that the special didn't apply as we chose the wrong crust. Nowhere did it show from the text special or when we called in that that was the issue. She refused to accept this and demanded that it was our fault. Insisting that we are at fault and wouldn't listen nor accept what our understanding was on this. Continuing to be unbelievably unprofessional this made us very upset. I think this is my first bad review :-( Used to be ok, but this evening pushed me to never go there again - papa murphy advertises a $5 faves, but the owner of the Baptist store says they were out, but asked if they made pizza's fresh including the $5 faves? We attempted to order online with a coupon. Coupon not accepted, so we walked in to order. A customer was in front of us and explained they had the same issue. Shawna (sp?) was abrupt about the coupon. When we explained we had the same issue, she didn't seem to care. We ordered the pizza and specifically stated NO CHEESE to the young man who took our order. While waiting on the multiple pizzas we ordered (totaling $46) Shawna shouted at an employee for not being in the correct spot. Ok, glad our sons don't work there. We got home and noticed there was cheese on the pizza. When we called to address our concerns, Shawna began to shout at us like she did her employee. We will NOT RETURN. Arrived at this franchise at 8:45pm this evening in desperate need of a quick dinner for the family. Clerk informed me that they'd already cleaned up and were going home. According to the door and website, they do not close until 9pm. The clerk - a heavily tatooed woman - wasn't interest in my observation that open 'til 9 means open 'til 9 ... not that 9 is when the employees leave the building. As I left she snapped off the Open sign apparently to prevent other CUSTOMERS for thinking they could buy pizza there during open hours. Monument Papa Murphy, I will never be back. Don't go. Absolutely awful cust service. Between no one knowing anything, including how to take orders, they are extremely rude. Spoke with manager, Shawna, who had a lot of tattoos and looked like she hadnt showered in quite some time. She called me curse words under her breath and then yelled (yes, yelled) at me for being rude. If I were the owner, I would invest in new staff. I will NEVER set foot in there again. Twice in the last month this location would not honor the text or email marketing that they advertise so heavily. Never had a problem before. The pizza is great but I'm not a big fan of marketing deception or poor customer service. Don't use excuses not to honor and say you choose not to participate. How about you honor the prices your parent company advertises and rely on satisfied customers returning. read more

They must only except magical coupons, I've never been able to use any coupons at this location. Never had a problem at any other Papa Murphy's. We just moved here so I just went for the first time the other week and while waiting for my pizza the employees were fighting with a customer about toppings, figured it was probably just the customer being picky but then when I asked if they could leave off a small portion without pepperonis for my kids (like I do at every other location) they said they couldn't do that...really! It's not like it takes extra effort. I started to think that maybe that the customer was probably not to blame in the altercation. I just went today and yet again coupons were not accepted....whatever. I just need to find another one, or maybe just go to Dominos. read more
